In Texas, we've always worn white after Labor Day and never felt that rule applied to us. The boys in NYC can do that if they want, we live in a totally different place.
Wow, you look really good in white. Great video. I don't wear white since it gets dirty so fast, and I'm constantly looking at my white shirt when I'm eating/drinking.
In the past two years I have lost a considerable amount of weight. When I bought clothes in the past my options were limited. If the clothes fit or hid my body I would buy them. Now I can purchase clothing that looks good and looks good on me. John, it was difficult to choose a favorite because all that you modeled were brilliant. That said I was drawn to the light blue shirt, suede jacket and shoes. I also liked the grey crew neck sweater and black shirt.
Just wanted to tell you that I recently purchased a pair of winter white corduroy pants from Bonobos and I love them. I also (because of you) just now purchased the Azzaro Eau de Parfum which is slightly stronger than the Eau de Toilette so thank you very much and I continue to look forward to your videos.

Nice jackets! Sadly, I come from a place where we have hot, blazing hot, rainy, and typhoon seasons. The coldest that I have ever experienced in my area without any rain was about 19 degrees Celcius, which is about 66 degrees Fahrenheit with 96% humidity. And this was up in the mountains.

My eyes are constantly drawn to the dark top (navy suede jacket) over light blue collar shirt OR the black cardigan over white collar shirt, both worn with the off-white pants. Great look! Suggest having a quick spin or body length mirror in the background so we can see entire outfit. The Labor Day rule is so antiquated...good video!

I really like the Chelsea boots, and all the darker tops, esp. the suede navy-blue bomber jacket. I also like the jacket you wore during the video, I think you called it salmon, but I'd say it is more on the light burgundy side (?). I also like the knit blazers. Great video, John. Thank you.

Great looks though I will say a pure white pair of pants (I have 2) are very different than tan or bone color. They feel a little out of place in the winter or even autumn.
John, great .. most "White" pants aren't even really true white .. look good any time of year .. just wear heavier winter clothes along with them ..salmon jacket a winner too

The dark tops negatively contrast the light bottoms. Grays, light blues, or camel tops are better compliments

I'll agree to disagree on white pants. I quit wearing white pants when I retired from the Navy 22 years ago. Impossible to keep clean, and just a personal preference and choice. But, more power to you and any that choose...
Is he really wearing white trousers like Tropical White Long? His off white is more off than white. I have similar ones. Men wearing pure white seems high risk, minimal return.
Also, I think Sean Connery , Roger Moore, and Don are the only men allowed to wear white jackets. The Fashion High Table, more powerful than Wick’s High Table, gave them a waiver. Every other guy screams WAITER in the same jacket.
@michaelblazin4093 agreed, white jackets scream waiter. To me, white is anything the other side of light tanner khaki. But again, my preferences are different than others..

Yeah, I used the off-white pair. They’re a lot more versatile for this time of year. I might save the pure white for summer. Either way, everything in this video still applies.

I’ve made several videos about this actually. In terms of this video, a belly wouldn’t make a difference. Everything in this video would still work.

I disagree, white pants are a bridge too far for men in their 50s . Almost no one can pull them off
