My tip if people are reluctant to try white trousers is to find some in just off white or a light cream. A bit less in your face but the same effect can be achieved. It's the route I tend to go down.
I think of white as a summer color. I've had white trousers in my closet for about a year and have never worn them. I think it's time to pull them out.

First off, I apologise for my late comment. I had some important business to attend to, and hence I couldn't comment as early as I should've. So, please forgive me. Outfit #1: This is a great summer formal day time look, and as you said, a great suit alternative. The simple navy hopsack blazer is so underrated, its probably the best, and most classic summer blazer out there, and it's infinite versatility makes it go well white the white trousers. The light blue shirt is simple, and acts as a perfect foundation for the patterned tie to take centre stage. The pocket square with its white background and navy dots pulls in the jacket, tie and even the trousers whilst providing contrast to the shirt. The simple watch, combined with braided leather loafers is always a good summery touch. Outfit #2: Summer business casual at its absolute finest! It can't get any better that this when it comes to a summer business casual uniform. The tieless look and the open shirt is so practical and elegant in the summer. The navy blazer and the white trousers provide a great foundation for the white and blue Bengal stripe shirt to shine. The rolex datejust screams "I mean business!", and the suede shoes are like always a great finish to the outfit. Outfit #3: Wow! The safari jacket is mind blowing! This is my favorite outfit of the bunch. Amazing way to use the linen safari jacket in a more summery, and casually dapper way. The same bengal striped shirt from the previous look with a navy knit tie as the perfect combo. The knit tie is a great choice for 2 reasons: first of all it is casually elegant and versatile and a perfect choice for this outfit, and secondly, it has an open weave allowing more airflow which makes it a very practical summer tie. The omega seamaster is a perfect complement to an already great look, and the horsebit loafers are a very nice finishing touch. Overall, this is not just my favourite outfit of this video, but one of my all time favorite Brian Sacawa outfits ever. This outfit truly has everything: Style, practicality, casual elegance and this outfit to me is a great embodiment of your personal style. Outfit #4: This is a wonderful textured look, the denim shirt works very well with the textured sport coat, and both the textures complement each other superbly. The textured pocket square adds an extra element of depth an panache to the outfit. The seamaster is a decent watch, but it doesn't work as well with this particular look, I think that a richer watch with more depth and sophistication such as the watch you used in the first look would have been a better option. The horsebit loafers again provide a great finish. Outfit #5: Aah, it seems like you listened to me. You came with the same polo shirt tucked into white trousers combination in your last video, and I talked about how the lack of having a Panama hat leaves the look rather incomplete, but this time, you've added the Panama hat, and it completes the look whilst complementing the black polo shirt really well. And there was Aaron Marino saying that polo's apparently look "whack" tucked in. It can't be any further from the truth. Well I guess that's the difference between elementary style and graduate level menswear.
Awesome looks Brian! I think despite stone chinos or light wash jeans being just a shade darker than white, there's this mental block that makes white pants look like a statement piece to me. Probably because as you've said here there aren't many people wearing them! Look #1 is very elegant, very similar to look #1 in your last video (how to wear chinos) but this one looking even more summery due to the colour pallet! Looks #2 and #4 are my favourites this time around, can't hide my preference for business casual looks. #5 is perfect for casual summer wear, and look #3, wow! Safari jackets are definitely on my to buy list now! - Han

Great video probably my favorite as far as quality and editing if your summer series you have been putting out. Love the Safari jacket. One thing I miss you telling us what brand and model everything is in each outfit. Even if it's all Micheal Andrews/HSS it would be nice to know where I could get some of these pieces. Thanks for the feedback, Joey. Experimenting here with a different cadence. I felt as though what we were doing was getting a bit formulaic and monotonous. So mostly the same but with some adjustments. If I had to look into my crystal ball, I think there might be some additional modifications in the future but just not sure what yet!

Very well done and about time somebody talks about it. It all depends on the season IMHO and your level of confidence, I personally love it and if u want to push the envelope try some white/brown spectator shoes for that 'Jep Gambardella' Italian vibe !

I liked what you did with that although generally you have to think quite carefully about where you wear white trousers, to which venue and which company. They are very easy to stain and work best in the daytime on a sunny day. I’m not sure I’d wear any major white in my outfit to a wedding either.

I like this outfit for a wedding but I also know it is generally considered bad form for women to wear white to a wedding but grooms often wear white as well. But can I just say that you give me major hat envy every time I see you in that Panama hat? Brian, thank you for the inspiration, not just for this video but for your channel in general. My question is regarding the appropriateness of wearing white pants to a wedding. I like this outfit for a wedding but I also know it is generally considered bad form for women to wear white to a wedding but grooms often wear white as well. So I'm just wondering if it's an advanced style or a risky move?

Great subject Brian - I've always loved the white trouser look and you assembled some great examples - no surprise there! But can I just say that you give me major hat envy every time I see you in that Panama hat? I have never been able to figure out why but I have such a hard time pulling off hats like that - maybe I need more jawline? Perhaps a subject to explore for a future video?
