I am Not an aggressive Driver. I have the 24 Escape Active FWD AND I filled the 14.8 gallon tank then I took a 191 Mile Round Trip It told me I still had 521 Miles till empty meaning a 712 mile tank range and got a resounding 48.1 MPG GAS NOT HYBRID. That was the Exception AND not the norm but still averaging 30.2 Mpg combined!! Another feature I love is the Speed a Recognition with Lane Centering giving a Semi Autonomous with the BASE ACTIVE version!
Love my 24 escape, traded my mustang for it. So glad I did lots of room, nice ride. I went with the black looks so sporty. Only thing that I don't care for is the fuel gage,so I just go with my miles left. Over all did not disappoint. 😊
Good lecture. I just test drove the KUGA/Escape in Germany. However, with 2.5 l hybrid, AWD, Active X. Very pleasant engine, car handles well on the road even at 200 km/h, even in curves. I bought it straight away, great car! (183 HP, 56k €)
The 2.0 4cyl turbo version is 250 hp.AWD st line is the choice if one likes to get up to speed quick and it’s an 8 speed transmission not a cvt and that’s a good thing.
My wife bought a new Escape ST Line. I liked it so moch that I got the new Bronco Sport, which is based on the same platform. I disagree on the engine power - it's very lively with no lack of passing power. Im an owner of an Srt4 ACR, and I know the score with these little turbo engines. A plus for the 3 cylinder is that it has both direct and port injection. Fit and finish is good and the paint is excellent. Transmission are solid 6 speed automatics in lieu ofa sketchy CVT. Expect mid-thirties in gas milage overall.
Wow you're the best car reviewer I've come across on youtube. Better than motormouth, throttle house and straight pipes. I'm suscribed ! Keep reviewjng more great cars and realistic everyday cars like the escape here. Can you review the Kia Sportage next ? Try to do the hybrid verison. Also want to hear your thoughts on the 2.0L escape.
Thanks for taking the time to leave us the kind comment! We appreciate the support! I can most definitely do a 2.0 escape! If we have a used Sportage come in I can do that as well
I have a 2024 platinum escape, but i find the fronts seats especially not comfortable. The seats are hard with no lumbar support on the passenger side. My 2017 titanium escape is more comfortable. Never had an issue. Also, I tried adjusting the sound controls in the 2024 platinum, but seems like there's less audio output or smaller speakers. So, I prefer the audio quality in the 2017. The platinum is suppose to be top of the line. It's expensive, but im disappointed. 😢
On Saturday I picked of the identical SUV and same color & everything. Even the 1.5 Ecoboost awd st line . I really love the vehicle and it has some pretty good.pep. My only real complaint is the engine start stop feature . I really don't like it . I think you should be able to permanently deselect it but you have to push the circle A button close to the volume knob everytime you get in the SUV for a ride . There is a company called 4D tech and they make a part for this problem. It says that it doesn't void any of your warranty it will give your SUV the ability to memorize what you chose either off or on the next time you go to drive. However the service department at the dealership didn't really recommend doing this because it had something to do with the battery going dead that would result in the start stop never working again . Overall I've been really happy . The red race metallic color is beautiful.
Keep an eye out for ur escape I got a 2023 and the engine kept getting debris from it into the coolant tank. I've only driven it for 3 months after the year I've owned. It waiting for a new engine
My 1.5 is a piece of junk, it rides horrible. Rough, shaky, lots of vibration and smells horrible after driving for 40 minutes plus inside and outside. Dealership says its new car smell 🤦♀️ ford said it was too soon to help me with my problems with my car. Started at 188 miles.
MSRP on this model was $37,025 however we have it discounted to $31,477. It has a standard auto, does not have a CVT in this configuration. 1.5-liter three-cylinder with 180 horsepower and 199 pound-feet of torque (Active and ST-Line)
I love my 2008 escape Hate that the body style is no longer available. I would love to trade for a newer model but not one that looks like a station wagon

I wanted to say you intro was super high quality
Good stuff man
Thanks for the support!
The new Kuga (Escape) is beautiful, I think it's one of the best SUVs on it's segment.
Put the driving mode into SPORT MODE. It is so fun.

Make sure you get the 2.0 liter 4 cylinder, not the 1.5 liter 3 cylinder. You'll love the 250 horsepower and you will get better mileage!
Indeed but not for what Ford wants for it. The base is a much better deal and way better gas mileage.

Just bot a 2024 🤜🏽💙

Also every time I get over 55 mph the engine over heats and threatens limp mode

Hello I just purchased myself a 24 ford escape active and yep I feel the exact same way! I wish there was a way to permanently shut that off! 😊
Does it have remote start, i just bout the 2024 ford escape ST line
Standard
Standard thru the Ford Pass App!
I couldn't even think of buying a car with a 3 cyl . engine. Got to have at least a 2.0T.
Nice vid. Does this vehicle have a CVT or standard automatic transmission? What are are the horsepower/torque numbers? What's the MSRP?
Your MAMA
Why did they install volume knob instead of gear selector?

@@OrdinaryG33K-SF Of course :)
What's up with the "hole" behind the brake and gas pedal?
I love my 2008 escape

Sounds like a weed whacker
The nickel and diming with "options" is stupid with this car. Go buy a cx-5 instead. Will get much more for less.
The Active can be optioned like a higher trim for thousands less, which is good for those who want cloth seats and all the features.
@@trenton737 I have the 24 Escape Active and Love it!! Tech Pk 1.
The performance is miles behind in the modern world
