I have the new 2024 ford escape active. My old ford escape 2009 finally gave out. But my new one is awesome. I LOVE THE SAFETY FEATURES AND THE TRUNK BUTTON 😂 the safety features of my car make me feel safer in my car because I have ptsd from being a few car accidents as a kid. I’m much more relaxed in my car and I love how I can start my car with my phone and check all my vehicle’s updates with it. I also have tall family members that are 5’10 and up and they manage to sit in my car comfortably in the front and back! So for all the mom’s out there wanting a safe car for their kids, definitely check it out and see if it’s up your alley!
It's called brake assist. I use it all the time. When active, when you stop, the car stays stopped until you push on the gas. You don't have to keep your foot on the brake and avoids "creep"
I drive for living and I have 2021 SE model. It has the worst seat ever! The seat has almost no butt cushion so when I seat my butt sinks in so easily hurting my back so much. I thought I had back issue but when I drive other cars I can drive for 15 hrs straight but I am at a point where I can't even drive 30 minutes in this car. Also the head rest push head too forward where it hurts your neck. I have seen several drivers with the head rest turned.
Had the chance to get a REAL good deal on an escape active a couple of months ago.. sat in it for no more than 30 seconds and got out everything felt cheap and awful, but the seat was by far the worst
@@MusicLuv80 the seat, the quality, it all just felt so cheap. Ended up going with a 24 forester @ 2.9% - not as much tech but WAY better build quality
Nice vehicle. I love my Ford Escape Limited 2005

Will the 24 be the final one or will there be a 25?
2025 will be the last year for the Escape.
2025 is the last year Ford is making the Escape.
@ 4:04 > What is the button just forward of the ASS and Drive mode buttons that looks like a "hand"?

That is Auto-Hold. It allows you to take your foot off the brake pedal once you come to a complete stop
I think you missing power trim specification

Got one as a loaner and yes the front seat is horrible
@@BoulevardBoss I wish Ford would spend less on tech and spend more money on seats.

@@kylesmith245 Wow, I don't understand why Ford can't spend more money on the seat.
