Adeem is one of the most important songwriters out. 100% - So much sincerity and heart penned in each song. EVER. Go dive deep folks.

I love adeem I think they capture a sound that needs to be heard. When I listen to these two albums they honestly feel like a pair. Cast iron is such a personal album about how life in the south shapes their views and how all of that coalesces. Whereas white trash is about the environment itself. The place that shaped the person described in cast iron. Poverty, evangelicalism and systemic racism. Adeem is a true genius of songwriting. These two albums tell a story about the south and what it's like to live, grow and love here and it's beautiful.

Admittedly, I was a little worried I wouldn't like this album *as* much as _Cast-Iron Pansexual_ as I felt as a pan-curious person, I didn't think I'd connect with it much.
    I was wrong.
The increased budget REALLY showed on this new record, it really feels like Adeem upgraded their sound. And their lyrics are still as brilliant and layered as ever. (And what Voltorb said about how Adeem is able to have the background texture and ambient sound tell a story really intrigued me to pay attention to that on my next listen.)

I already decided that this was one of the best country albums of 2022 before you and Fantano's reviews, which were both very much deserved. I was intrigued if not blown away by Adeem's last album and I think White Trash Revelry really shows their full potential to amazing effect. Spoiler: this and Bronco are two country albums in my top ten for this year.

I’ve been meaning to listen to cast iron pansexual since at least a year ago, and this only makes me more sure that I’ll love both that album and this one, especially since I’ve warmed up to country a lot over the last several months.

I may need to sit with it a bit, just because it is a different vibe from Cast-Iron, but they definitely delivered something potent here.

An alternative country singer-songwriter who goes by "they/them" pronouns. I think I'm on board?
