I use too do one Signing Special, I brought Luca Toni for Lyon and went on too dominate the French League for about 8yrs or so. I remember being a Liverpool Manager, can't remember which FM game it was but all we had was 12m or 15m too spend and had Michael Owen plus Robbie Fowler was still at Liverpool also, I spent the full money on an aging Alan Shearer, so had a flat Front 3 of Fowler Shearer Owen, in the first Year Won the Prem and Champs League, went on a mini dominance for 3/4yrs good times :-D lol.
I remember from a save around fm12. I had a 6ft4 CB with 19 or 20 jumping/heading/strength. Put him to attack far post on corners and would score 15-20 goals a season.
My favourite save is my current one on fm19 mobile. Start off by taking Norwich up to the championship. I then got sacked and took oxford from league 1 to the prem. Wining European comps. Then moved to Southampton and won everything with them. Moved to fc Bayern' Munich won everything with them. Moved to feyenoord won Europa league and all the domestic.
Looking backwards, so many newgens in earlier FM games would be horribly overpowered nowadays. I took a peek at my 50-season FM13 save, and I spotted an attacking midfielder with 20 Passing, 20 Technique, 20 First Touch and 20 Creativity (Vision) with the Tries Killer Balls Often PPM. In one season, he got 20 assists in 34 league games. Or my favourite newgen ever, a striker with 20 Finishing, 20 First Touch, 20 Penalty Taking, 20 Composure, 20 Off The Ball, 20 Anticipation, and at his peak he also had 19 Acceleration, 19 Pace and 20 Agility. He managed to score 158 goals in the mere 115 games I got to manage him. Absolutely brutal.

FM20 - Sportul Snagov in Romania (a side that were barely in the game, being 2nd tier but expected to relegate to the 3rd tier which FM20 didn't have - kept them in 2nd tier, built them up a bit) then a few seasons in took the FC Hermannstadt job (were at the time a yo yo club between 1st/2nd) also in Romania. Built the league up a bit on the whole - even after I left Snagov, they stayed up in T2 and never dropped out of the game, and took Hermannstadt to multiple Romanian titles and a few decent Europe runs (did not play the save long enough to win a CL).
It was shortly after this game Football manager and the world would learn that Jack Wheelchair (No typo) would not go on to be nominated for a ballon d'or 😅😅😅
Hi tom, I have a question. I have a problem with "best eleven", I have a save with bolton, Im in 2026 and when I look to clubs best eleven it show just from first two seasons. any solution to fix that?
Fm 15 got Chelsea to being a super team, up to 2024, found the BEST ever youth regen at benfica secured his future signing for 118m at 18 (trust he was worth it) went to load up at 3am as I couldn't sleep one night knowing I only had the CL final to play before holidaying to the new season to sign him........ As my laptop was loading I picked up the sky remote tried to do a flick throw up with it and dropped it straight on the HD part of the computer which promptly died and I never even got to see him at the bridge ..... Safe to say it took me til 3 weeks ago to buy fm23 to start playing again
A little Regen player called ALBERTO TENCONI smashed it for me in this game. Over 500 goals scored during career (He played for Roma, Man Utd, Atletico Madrid then retired at Roma)
Best save I ever had was on this same FM. 4 year undefeated with Liverpool and 6 years undefeated domestically. Signed a young argentine who was “the next si stefano” from Lanus, Augustin Jara 19 year old in the Orem and banged 50 in
I used to play FM07 religiously and I had a Newcastle save where I had a very special academy graduate. He won the young player of the year whilst on loan with Spurs so next year we built the team around him. He went on to be the best player in the world and it’s the only time it’s happened to me. The other favourite save was more recent and where I took Eastleigh from National league to Champions League glory.
I had a multiple manager save with my brother on FM2007 on the Xbox 360, where we got up to around 2010 all the managers started unemployed then one of the managers frauded there way to the Cameroon job and went on to win AFCON and make the confederations cup final then got sacked ended up at Norwich where they won the EFL Trophy, while my personal manager got sacked at two different clubs Berwick and Redditch, ended up resigning at Slough though having said that managers are at the England and Nigeria jobs having previously worked in the Cameroon youth teams
I had my best ever save on fm12 too same story but with Newport County and Scotland. I had to use the Dark Skin though as the white was painful to look at and still is.
I Remember my best Save ever was in FM 09. I made FC Kobenhagen the 5 best Team in the world over 10 seasons (FC København my team) And in that game I made Palermo the best Team in Italy.

Never losing with Real Madrid for 10+ seasons in a row was my save in 2015
Even with Real that is insane. 10+ League Seasons, only wins, so 380 straight league wins. That is just monstrous.
