I'm glad I came across your video! Couldn't get the dang thing to work at all, and then you went to the ID on the light, and it finally dawned on me that was the problem. This light (600) is one hell of an upgrade! Thanks for the video!
I haven't been on your channel for a while but I happened to search for a refresher on the Goddox. I noticed that you shared a tip too restart your battery. I wish that I found out about this tip a few months ago it would have saved me from buying another one. In the morning I will try it. Thanks for sharing.
I throw my xpro trigger in the bin last week. Had nothing but trouble with it since I got it. Use the older xt 1 and that works a treat. So many miss fires it was unbelievable. I was shooting indoors last week and was just testing a set up but the trigger would fire the lights but out of sync with the camera. Switched out triggers to the older one worked s treat. That's when I have up with it and it went in the bin.
Peter Brehaut oh i believe it for sure! I have quite a bit of miss fires. I bought the pro ii and it seems to work a little better. I haven’t had the isywitb it being out of sync in a while.
@@924PHOTOGRAPHY my issue is maybe because I was using the pro version for Fuji ?? Seems like the Sony guys and girls never have problems ;) do not get me wrong I love the godox system but I have had a few things go wrong on me. 1st the second time I went to charge the battery for the ad 600 it blew so had to buy a new one. One of my ad 200s made a strange noise when turned on so that went back and obviously the trigger problem as well. Guess I must just be unlucky 🤣

Nice video Keydrin, you mentioned shooting wedding with this set up. Can you do a video on your wedding setup and how you use this setup throughout the wedding day? Thanks!!!
#1 that bike is clean. 👍🏾. Now can you do another video using the ad600 as a master and any different flash. How to sync the two. I have been having issues with that this week. The ad600 is working but the second flash won’t sync. Channel is the same and group are the same. I’m sure what ever it is I’m missing is something simple. 👍🏾
Jerrold thank you! I’ll definitely do that! No sure if you tried it but put it on another channel and if that doesn’t work try using another channel with an ID attached to them
Thanks for the AD600 tut! Gave ya a thumbs up. The part about the softbox positioning is very crucial and you nailed it with good real-time visuals. All too often when I see lighting tuts I see the boxes are placed too far from the model and the results aren't as good as they can be. Edit: originally commented to say Im soon getting into the Godox lighting system and felt your vid gives a good explanation of the model I'm getting
Great video. I'm having trouble as the flash is not triggering when I take a photo with the camera. I have the channel both set as 1. If I press the flash button on the trigger to test, the flash goes off. I have wireless flash ON on the camera and silent shooting turned off.
Make sure in your settings you don’t have a channel ID turned on. Sometimes this can be an issue. Also try another channel besides 1. I’m hardly ever on one. I use 5 or 7
Thanks for telling me to turn off the "ID". Once I did that, I was able to trigger my strobe. I am new to using off-camera flash. Also, I am wondering, I do not have an option to set for mirrorless or DSLR. (I have the Canon R5) My R2 pro is the Flashpoint version. Have you ever updated the firmware? Thanks!
I also have this very same light, but is the Flashpoint version. I was thinking of getting another Flashpoint also, do you think a second light, a Flashpoint 300 or 400 would be ok? If so, which one would you recommend? Thanks!
You’re very welcome! Yes, I’ve updated the trigger, and you’ll have to update it through a pc. What version are you on? Can you see tenth stops on your adustments? I would go 400 if you have one 600. That’s what i have now. 600 & 400
