Great video man! I just got a set today for my 05 Toyota Avalon. I like them so far. It's supposedly to rain here in NC, tomorrow, so I'll get to see how they handle in wet conditions.
I have 30k on mine and with proper maintenance performed, tread wear is on par with rating, very happy with these! Thanks for your thoughts, looks like staying with them.
Great to hear an honest review and that you are happy with those tires. Black Hawk actually falls under Sailun tires. Sailun also has Road X and Rovelo brands as well. I am planning on buying Sailun Inspire tires when I need new all-seasons on the Accent. This helped a lot.
Glad the video could help. Some people are skeptical and rightful so. But if every set is as good as these, I'll definitely purchase again. Thanks for watching!
Currently running a new set of these tires and I can say road noise went way down compared to the old Goodyears my car had I’ve only had them for a month and I approve..
Hoping these are good. Picking up a couple for my 2013 Ford Focus with 16 inch rims. Walmart had them in my size for 56 bucks each. For 2, about 170 should be the price installed. Already had 2 good tires but apparently need to get the shocks on the rear changed. But at least these will make it safer. Hoping to get shocks on next week depending on price.
I just bought a set, $70 each AGILITY SUV + install, 60,000 treadwear warranty. Had Michelin prior (factory tire) still had some tread wear but lot's of side wall cracks. What I've found so far, much quieter than the Michelins, smoother than the Michelins, the sidewalls are a bit stiffer so feel the road a bit more. Keyword? a BIT. Also noticed when they were balanced, lees weight than the Michelin. Haven't had any heavy rain yet, but some wet areas and seem fine. Do notice fuel mileage a bit less, about 1/2 mile per gallon. Handling is fine, not quite as sharp as the Michelins, keyword QUITE, but very close. At this point very satisfied, these are on a 2018 Escape. Will update as time goes by. Heck eve if they only go 30,000 miles at this price you can't complain. Good Vid by the way.
@richardwarren7492 Hope you can reply: I have a 2017 Ford Escape Titanium, Looking into BlackHawk Agility 235/50R18, just like yourself. So after 6 months of posting, how's the overall reaction? a) NOISE LEVEL? highway / street? b) Wet Traction? c) overall, are they a good or great tire? would you recommend them? There's little or no info about this brand, checked their webpg, some write ups, limited. But watching this and the few reviews, I think I cant go wrong.. Ive had different tires, noise level crazy. cant go to tire stores, they sell you what they want or have to. Ive been focusing on this and Sumitomo Enhance, Cooper Adventurer, Kumho Ecsta, Goodyear Reliant, Firestone Destination, but finding some being overpriced or not the best reviews. ANYONE ELSE with info on SUV low noise, good traction, nice price tires? Cheers!!!
May I add. If you're looking for a performance tire and drive your car like it's stolen then you should go with kumho ecsta. I made 80,000 on my last set and I drive with 42-45 psi (retired law enforcement). They are nice and quiet and you'll definitely appreciate the handling.
I need 215/45r17 and saw new blackhawk street tires 2 for 107 and i got a little confident watching your video still can't makeup my mind especially since they're made in china also
They are made in Vietnam at a factory owned by a Chinese brand... so not sure if that makes a difference to you, but rubber is cheap in the area so they have very modern tire factories making very decent tires cheap.
I run these on an AWD Volvo S90. They are better than the Lionhearts and far cheaper than the Bridgestone's with fantastic wear and durability. I live in Phila PA so everyday potholes and trash are a common obstacle. The car did fine in the winter since 2018 when I got it and I opted to replace the factory tires twice since then with these. Please note that in a 20" version H rated does have a different tread profile in a 255 rim. way more agressive than this . I confirmed this with my coworker who runs the same tires on his VW passat.
I should add that my car sees track time and speeds well over 130 mph. They have had numerous punctures over the years and held up fine during race conditions with a simple plug. @@HardHeadGarage
Have any trouble keeping even air pressure in tires? Mine lose 5-10lbs if it sets just for a day or too. Doesn’t matter if temps are warm or cold- maybe need a new set of valve stems?
You definitely have a leaky valve stem. Take your car to a tire shop and have all 4 valve stems replaced. You're supposed to do that whenever you get new tires
No pressure issues here. Did they clean the rims well? Valve stems easy check, wet your finger with some drool or a little soapy water put it on valve stem (cap off of course) look for bubbles. If ok water test the bead area (a tire tank will show you if leaking around rim.
I was about to purchase some GT Radials but the shop is Out of Stock. They're offering me some "Blackhawk Agility SUV" tires for the same price. It's for a Hyundai Santa Fe -- I just want a smooth and quiet ride. What do you think?
@@HardHeadGarage thanks for the quick reply. The shop has the hh11's as well. They told me the agility SUV is a newer tire. I can't find much info on them. So I'm kinda skeptical lol
@j2skillful no problem. I was skeptical about the HH11S as well, but was very surprised with them. I would definitely purchase again! Thanks for watching! Let us know how they turn out.
Still holding up great, I would definitely purchase again! The previous set I had were a performance tire which had a stiffer sidewall, that gave them a slight advantage in handling feel but also sacrificed on ride quality. For the price of the BlackHawks I don't think you can go wrong.
I would agree with that. I've personally had these over 100 mph with no noticeable problems or vibration. They do show a lil weakness under hard cornering though.

I have been using Blackhawk for a while. I can vouch.
I had a tyre that gives way on a long trip. The tyre shop only had black hawk. Driving a Volvo S80. Yes it perform well so far so far.
