I bought the Michelin CC2’s 2 months ago and am very satisfied. They give a sense of security and comfort with a surprising level of quietness in the ride. I’ve driven them in the rain and they perform as if they’re running on dry road. Braking, even in rain is terrific. If there is a small increase in road noise(which I don’t notice), it is well worth the confident sport ride they give.
PSA... When buying tires, MAKE SURE the sipe depth is as deep as the tread depth (sipes are the small tread slits incorporated into the tire's tread patch that enhance the tire's performance). This assures that the tire will maintain it's performance throughout the tire's life. A common tire manufacturer trick is to make sipes half or less than half the depth of the tread so the tire starts losing its performance characteristics when it still has considerable tread left, thus, making you buy new tires sooner. DON'T FALL FOR THIS! HERE'S SOME SIPE TIDBITS... Some sports tires often do not have sipes. Snow tires are often full of them. There are different types of sipes, like the ones on the Michelin Cross Climate all-season tires which are interlocking sipes. These are a more sophisticated type of sipe as opposed to simple slits patterned within the tread. When choosing tires, absolutely ask if it has full-depth sipes/ check it with your own eyes or you'll be buying them again shortly. Don't let the salesperson tell you deep sipes are bad in any way. Tire shop salespeople are the WORST at this. If your car tracks and stops well, don't let the tire shop give you the free alignment. Lastly, almost all good tires (with full depth sipes) perform best at half life but ride harsher. It's a trade off. Hope this helps.
Just reading the comments and I cant believe how upset people get when there tyre isn't mentioned, if you covered them all the video would be at least an hour. Let's face it all the premium brands there isn't that much to choose between them and the title says tyres you should consider not tyres you absolutely must buy. I personally have the Continentals fitted and for me they are fine with my day to day winter travel here in the UK , some years we get no snow at all so a full winter tyre as a rule is not needed especially when you consider the extra fuel the full winters use . I found the video very good thanks
I have Cross Climate 2 on my Lexus GX 460. I just drove through a blizzard with wet snow, slush and icy patches. I was impressed with the ability to handle slushy roads. There was vehicles in the ditch including a tour bus. There is little, if any road noise. My mother in law has them on her Altima and they are not noisy at all.
I bought the cross climate 2 thinking they were going to be noisy. However on my 2012 Highlander, they are great. No noise to speak of. Pleasantly surprised after hearing some of the complaints.
Thanks for sharing your experience! The quiet performance of the Cross Climate 2 surprises a lot of users. Your positive feedback will be helpful for others interested!
I don't know which part of the world this review covers. In Europe Pirelli Cinturato 3 seams to be the king. Just bought them based on Tyre Review channel recommendation, and I have to say they are bloody good. At least much better to Goodyear 4 seasons v2, which they replaced.
Thanks for sharing your experience! This review is more general, but it's great to hear the Pirelli Cinturato 3 is performing well for you in Europe. It’s definitely a solid choice based on Tyre Review's recommendation!
For me the same. My other car has the Michelin crossclimete 2 on them, but these pirelli’s are really really good. I just hope they last. Time will tell

I can’t wait until the day all CEOs and boards of directors are replaced totally by AI once their programmed the corporation should save billions of dollars. This video is just a load of regurgutated manufacturers marketing bollocks with no independent testing. You need to wat the tyrereviews channel for a proper testing of tyres.
Hello! Yes, I did not include the Goodyear Vector 4 Seasons Gen 3 in this video. If you're interested, I can provide more information about this model. Thank you for your feedback; I'll try to improve my future videos based on such comments.
I have been so underwhelmed by all of these brands over the last 20 years, it is hard to ever consider their products again. A few years ago I was introduced to Vredestein tires and their QUATRAC line. The only way I would buy something else now is if Vredestein stopped making the QUATRAC PRO. Had them on a 2018 GTI and they blew the factory tires away. Last longer much longer and had far better drip. Real ALL-SEASON tires. Put them on our 2020 Outback Touring XT. Blew away the Michelin's the previous owner got tricked into by their tire guy. Outback stops quicker, holds a curve at higher speeds and I am back to NEVER seeing the traction light or sliding to a stop. Those Michelin Primacy were going to get us killed. They should only be sold in the desert SW.
You need to work on your video editing. When you are discussing those tires other than the Cross Climate 2, pictures of the Cross Climate 2 keep appearing that show its unique v-shape tread pattern. That said, I bought the Cross Climate 2 for my Crosstrek and it has proven an excellent match.
Thank you for pointing that out! I'll make sure to improve the video editing for better accuracy in future videos. Glad to hear the Cross Climate 2 worked well for your Crosstrek
I put a set of CC2s on my XT5, what a Mistake. Fuel Mileage dropped about 30 - 35% from where it was with the Premier LTXs. The CC2 isn't really any Better in Snow than the LTXs, and they were down to 4/32(f) and 5/32(r) inch tread. DIdn't see much difference on Ice Either. I will be returning them to Costco, and getting another set of LTXs.
The Continental AllSeasonContact 2 isn’t available in the USA yet. You could explore similar models in Continental's lineup or look at alternatives from brands like Michelin or Goodyear for all-season performance.
Michelin doesn't have to pay to keep him out Goodyear is horrible I've had michelins my whole life and I get a 100000 miles out of every set The Michelin defenders
Anybody here tried Radar Dimax AS-8 tires? I'm thinking of getting Michelin Primacy SUV+, or Bridgestone Dueler HT (or AT), or Thunderer Ranger ATR, or Radar Renegade AT Pro, or Radar Dimax AS-8 for my Ford Everest. I find Radar tires very compelling.
Radar Dimax AS-8 has received decent feedback, especially for its price-performance ratio. However, if you're leaning towards Michelin Primacy SUV+ or Bridgestone Dueler, you might get better all-around performance and durability. It depends on your priorities-cost-effectiveness or premium performance!
Regarding the continental contact too - - how far is 50,000 km? This is being introduced in America. We don’t measure by kilometers and I’m not gonna bother to research it to find out because it pisses me off reports are made in the United States measured in European terms if you can’t speak in American terms don’t advertise
Maybe you could move all your military bases back to your nice country, I have put goodyear all season gen 3 on my car and yes fuel consumption plus 10%.
Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate your input regarding Goodyear tires. While they are indeed a well-known and reputable brand, our video aimed to focus on a specific selection of all-season tires. We value your perspective and will consider including a broader range of options in future content. Your support is important to us
Very poor review (the best - with real tests, with measurements etc. - come from Tyre Reviews/Jonathan), featuring even two models from the same manufacturer, but not the new champion Pirelli all-seasons SF3 or a GY etc. Still, the all-seasons/weather tyres are a really bad choice (except for about a month in the spring and an estimated month during fall) for a four seasons area (where there are at least few days of freezing temperatures). For the winter even the best AS tyres are far below a few dedicated winter tyres (such as Bridgestone Blizzak 6 Enliten or Continental WinterContact 870P etc.) and in the summer they are far below the UUHP tyres (such as Bridgestone Potenza Sport and Race or Continental SportContact7 etc.). I prefer using the best dedicated winter + summer tyres (the best choice for at least 80% of the year) than the 'best' compromised "2 in 1" all-seasons/weather tyres (good for max. 20% of the year). I might even consider such AS tyres for the limited time during spring and fall (when temperatures are around 7°C) as a fourth set of tyres (beside the two sets for summer and winter and the third one for track-days), but I shall never give up the best performance (including the top safety, that I shall not exchange for some little savings or less harassment with changing, rotating, balancing, aligning them etc.) in the winter and summer. Remember that the tyres are your ONLY contact between your car and the road! Drive safe, don't be cheap, lazy, uninformed or dumb.
Thank you for your comment! We apologize for not including the models you mentioned, but we will definitely consider them in future reviews. We agree that dedicated winter and summer tires offer superior performance, but we believe all-season tires can be a practical solution for some users. Your feedback is valuable to us-thank you, and drive safe!

What about Pirelli Cinturato Allseason SF3?
The Pirelli Cinturato Allseason SF3 is a solid choice, but I couldn’t include it due to limited review space. I appreciate you bringing it up!
According to tyre reviews this is the new leader in the segment. And that’s saying something

Fuel efficency improves because the tread changes and swaps one for the other.
Yes, exactly! These tread changes help improve fuel efficiency by reducing rolling resistance. Thanks for your insight!
