Times have sure changed. Back in the 70's and 80's you could actually protect your privacy. Now everyone knows where everyone lives. You could never find a famous persons house back then. Especially in this area.

I love Ace, glad he’s not drinking, and still rocking. That being said, he was just in Detroit recently, and I didn’t even bother going because of all the footage I’ve seen of Ace’s playing lately. He just seems wiped out 95% of the time he gets onstage now, or “phoning it in”. I feel bad for him. Like, dude....what is going on?
I was all for Ace to possibly return to KISS, but after watching this, I'm not so sure. He would need to spend at least a year to get 1/3 of his chops back and get by.
I love Ace and still swear by my Dressed to Kill Vinyl from 76 but thank god everyone else was on their game because obviously Ace was not. Every time I say this people say "he was sick". Does he have arthritis or something permanent that I haven't read about? All I know is that the shows from the last year or so have been pretty bad. And I have followed this man through thick and thin in the scary 80's and the grunge 90's. Still think Trouble Walkin Tour was the best though :)

(Ace, Gene, Peter, & Paul.) - I remember Ace un-masking - in his "Laney"-amps ad (in about 1986). - I loved this band - back in 1987-1988. (I hated - that Anton left for 'Letter-man') - I had all of their albums. (It was exciting to get 'Comet'- & 'KISS'-albums.) - "'Rock'-Soldiers" was Ace's "The Devil Went Down to Georgia". - Todd Howarth was a great singer & song-writer, and helped - to divide-up duties. - I feel Ace lost his creative-direction - after 'Frehley's Comet' dis-banded. - This is a neat re-union, and they should record more albums. - Anton, John, & Todd (all) sounded great! - This video was a better angle - where phone-filmers weren't blocking the stage. Bad things to say: - Does Ace ever practice his guitar-playing? (His solo-improvisations suck.) - Obviously - their set was too short. - Nothing like hearing out-of-key singing - from the amateurish audience. - Our age-group (40's is nearing 50 - if not already there) will never be those teens again! - Too much in-fighting - in most of our favorite bands. - Our heroes will be dead some day. VFL 2018 Ace has always played sloppy, that was part of his unique sound. Also, the man has battled substance addiction almost his entire adult life, that does take a toll eventually
