Can we just give Suni Lee some serious credit for putting on that performance with less than 2 months of only light training due to health issues. I mean, a silver on balance beam while cutting big chunks of her difficulty out because she wasn't 'in shape?' Yeesh.

Kidney disease can be fatal. I am so sorry that Suni is dealing with this but she must take care of her vital organs before anything else. I can see in Suni’s face even with all the makeup that she’s not well and I hope she puts her health over elite gymnastics. She’s a cute, sweet, talented gymnast. I’m surprised they are even letting her compete knowing rxs contain many substances. So sorry. She did really good but if she were my child she would not be doing this type of sport.
Simone and Joscelyn are both tremendously powerful gymnasts and so impressive. Just incredible athletes. What I miss is the artistry and flexibility that gymnasts like Nastia brought. The long, elegant lines. Suni on beam reminded me of that a little bit.
I love how much Joscelyn smiles. Was her execution a little messy or does it just appear that way because she is shorter in stature? Seemed to me like her knees were bent, feet flexed, lack of flexibility, but her E scores dont reflect that. So maybe its me?
I think it's a combination of her body type and stature and her technique. I don't think her execution is actually much worse than anyone else's, her body type just makes it easier for the average fan to notice.
