I’ve seen and read many a documentary on the Benders. This is the most concise and best informative take yet. Good work Bad Things!

A random photo of a car stuck in snow? In 1872? A couple of decades before the first car was built? And it looks like a car from the 1930’s

I lived in Southeast Kansas for a few years, and I can confirm that it has a dark and desolate undertone.

Interesting video. Where in the tiny cottage would guests stay the night? It looked like it only had a front store and a back living area for the entire family.

The most messed up part of it all is that if Little House on the Prairie ran for one more season and was accurate, these folks would have shown up. In really, the family from the show returned to Wisconsin about the time these deviants arrived.

The Bloody Benders read about them ad a kid in true west magazine back in the 1960's.
Never did get them German immigrants.

Curious…. Was the character name of John Bender in the Breakfast Club and this family a coincidence?
