On paper, this partnership makes great sense for many reasons:
    1. He knows Novak very well. They have known each other for 25 years (since they were 13 years old), and they are friends. Andy understands him and will be able to handle any situation they are in.
    2. He knows Novak's game. Having played each other 36 times, Andy knows Novak's weaknesses and how he, and his opponents, would exploit them.
    3. Andy just retired and is quite aware of the games of Novak's top's rivals (Sinner, Alcaraz, Medvedev and Zverev), having played them recently himself, so he probably also knows their weaknesses and how to exploit them.
    4. Andy was known for venting his frustrations on his coaches box, so when Novak does the same, he will understand
If this partnership works, it could yield good results. If Novak finds a way to win the AO, he will not retire. I think Novak intends to complete all of 2025, with the hopes to compete at Wimbledon, where other than Alcaraz and Sinner, nobody can beat him.

Similar games, joker is just better at everything. Sort of makes sense because there’s not going to be any changes in fundamentals. For some reason I’ve never seen Murray as a tennis strategy genius and often a bit of a whiney head case. Lendl’s presence tempered that.
Maybe Murray can go through the tapes, offer suggestions and go over strengths and weaknesses of joker that he perceived as an opponent. That’s where Murray would have potentially helpful insights.
Novak is a clever guy. He could be doing it partly just to light a fire under his own ass, and this in some weird way could accomplish that. I would love to see the joker win another Slam.

Andy Murray coaching Djokovic is pretty easy to appreciate when comparing with Amelie Mauresmo.
Although Andy and Djokovic were intense rivals on the court, they share similar traits. Both have fire in their belly and are hard on themselves when not performing to their very high standards. Andy can be said to be a very competent strategist on court. He was number one in his prime for the right reasons and has the experience competing against 3 tennis legends. Andy's vast experience, intelligence and diehard competitive spirit will be an asset to Djokovic, and likely help improve the latter's chances against Sinner or Alcaraz.

Joker is the MAN! Would love to see him sweep all the slams in 2025 before riding off into the glorious GOAT sunset. :-) Andy may get a taste of his own medicine in terms of a little "barking" at the box. :-)

25 is not record beating in terms of slams. He already has the record at 24. When Sampras had the record at 14 nobody was comparing him with the women. It's just a load of nonsense. Men are men women are women. We don't do it in other sports like athletics where every single record is held by men without exception. Nobody thinks Margaret Court is even in the same league as Serena Williams and Serena didn't win more slams. It's just more woke nonsense.

Also I think Margaret won half her slams in the pre open era

Big needle rivals, now a coach and player relationship. A beautiful story in the sport of tennis that Djokovic will end his career with Murray at his side. I hope he wins one more GS to take him to 25. It will be the Victory both crave at this stage of their lives. Big up 🥎🎾💯👏
