Hi Dhritiman, I don’t think you should upgrade from the K50i to this one. You won’t see any noticeable gains. I suggest keep using ur phone for another year man.

It really depends on how much you use the camera on your phone. If you take over 15-20 images everyday, it might be worth upgrading to the Note 12 Pro, but if you just occasionally take images then I think it might be better to stick to the note 10 pro.

Just got this phone and the selfie camera is extremely sensitive to light especially on a whatsapp video call it is most of the time over exposed, but the whole scene can turn suddenly super dark for few seconds with little movement and then its overexposed again. WhatsApp call was primary purpose of this phone in my case and with no way to change any camera settings within whatsapp, I am worried do I have a defective piece or is this behavior expected of this phone? The scene I described is a well lit room at night, but this also happens in day. Thank you

Realme 9 Pro plus is a bit better but it’s also much older compared to Redmi note 12 pro and neither of these companies have a very good track record when it comes to sending software updates, so I wouldn’t buy a 1 and half year old phone from either.
It's not over sharpening, it is messing up the colours. If you feel the images looked sharp you could just turn on the beauty mode and that sharpness is taken care off.
Its not made of sapphire cox that’s very costly, but you should NEVER apply any sort of Lens protectors on any of ur phones. They are made with cheap glass or plastic and make your images look significantly worse. Spend on a case which has better or more protection for the camera but just don’t use a lens protector.
It’s a worthless useless 2MP macro lens. I wouldn’t even call it a showoff, frankly If I was the company, I would be embarrassed to put such camera on my phone 🤷🏻♂️

I don’t know anyone who has that phone so I could borrow from them for the video, and I feel it’s just too late for me to buy it and make a video about it. Not just possible practically, as I would loose a lot of money while reselling it.
Have to get a lot of information out, talking slow will make the video even longer. If you want it to be slower, you can watch the video at 0.75x speed 👍🏼

It is on by default for 30fps videos at all resolutions (720p, 1080p & 4K). It's not available while shooting 1080p videos at 60fps.

While cameras are same on both, I would say Redmi note 12 pro is slightly better because of the better ISP on newer mediatek 1080 processor.

I would say oneplus 10T has more natural image processing.

Ois Not Working Properly & Not Even EIS at 4k 30fps WTF, they are playing with customers for 25k price.
OIS works as it should at 4k & 1080p 30fps, and EIS + OIS only works at 1080p 30fps.
