Haha totally forgot to post this at embargo! 😂 Sorry guys I’ve been recovering from a serious injury so it’s been tough getting this video out. Hope you enjoy either way! 🙏😃
@@ColinHopperRevivaldoing better but still in pretty bad pain from my torn calf, so totally passed out last night before the launch! Hope you enjoyed either way!
I thought Redmi will make a new Redmi Note but the use the China Redmi Note 😂😂 so no surprise and exciting for this phones because the been released quite sometime.❤
Hey frankie I've got the redmi note 10 Pro global version running miui 14 with android 13 I didn't get hardly any functionality like the Chinese version got but I love to see a comparison to the redmi note 10 Pro 108 mega pixel camera vs the redmi note 12 pro plus 200 mega pixel camera just to see if how of a difference there is hope you get better soon and stay safe
Both are solid budget phones undoubtedly! They are simply very good value! I would go with the pro plus myself as well! Too bad about your injury Frankie! Get well soon buddy🙏😊
Thanks Mohammad! Solid releases although honestly they are so delayed from the China launch I don’t think many care at this point! 😂 Yeah it’s been tough, totally missed the launch due to the pain and sleeping early, but hopefully little by little I will recover and can walk again soon. Appreciate the support my friend! ☺️
The RN12 Pro 5G looks exactly like my RN11 Pro+ 5G except for the back camera design. With what I'm hearing about the pricing, I think I will just stick to my RN11 Pro+ 5G. After all, there might be no serious differences in the chipset. I actually got my RN11 Pro+ 5G all because of the introduction of 5G in my country (Nigeria), but I've not been able to stretch the 5G capabilities as 5G is not widely spread in the city I live in. So, I don't see the economic sense in getting the upgrade. I do hope you recover fully in good time so you can move about more freely. Nice review as always. Cheers
Frankie, hi, thanks for your sharing. To buy a second hand 12t pro or new note 12 pro. Which one you suggest? I like taking pic and I have 10t pro hand.. Thanks for advice.
I don't agree with the title - those phones are not "budget" killers in any means. I saw the official prices - way over than redmi note series should costs. I think that Xiaomi team is making big mistake with their new price policy - but I guess/hope that they know better.
I always want china exclusive Xiaomi and Redmi Phones because the MIUI is not generic. Full packed feature, more optimized and no bugs at all unlike the global versions a lot of features are missing that causes some bugs in some updates
Hi Frankie... I currently use note 10 pro, do you think this phone is any upgrade from not 10pro, I still haven't seen any significant upgrade from the beast note 10 pro
First i was thinking about getting the Xiaomi 13. But around 1000€ is pretty expensive, even when i renew my phone contract it's stil expensive. Phones like the redmi's or maybe Poco X5 Pro are getting more interesting. Just few things holding me back a little are the only 2 year OS update and plus here in Holland the prices for budget/midrange phones are going up as well. From around 300€ now to a 400-500€. But at least it stil beats a 1000€ for a Xiaomi or a Samsung phone. Maybe if you use a phone for 3-4 years, a 2 year OS update with 3-5 years security updates warranty isn't so bad to have.
Good Phones! 👏🏼👏🏼A very professional review dear Frankie! We hope you will be feeling better! We go for the 12 Pro + very clear images and vivid colors!
Hehe not quite yet, but overall March has still been a pretty good month, for many reasons! Gonna try to stay positive and work through this blip and will back at 💯 soon! 😅
Tbh, even if the hardware is good with this, I can't shake the fact that they are not supporting their devices for long and even if they do, they are not consistent in releasing. (Quantity over Quality). Even if others have said that Galaxy A54 is overpriced and there are other good options in same price category, I would still choose A54 because of the long term and consistent software support given that I am not a pure gamer and more of an average user + using some camera.
I actually end up having lots of fun with the macro camera, don't know what's all the fuss with it. Frankie, the photo sample of the flower you presented with the macro is too far, that's why it's so blurry. It's impossible that my Redmi 10 Pro has a better macro than the 12, I really think it was out of focus due to being to far.
Haha bro are we really arguing about the 2 macro camera on these phones? I just included one example but sorry these are garbage cameras and Xiaomi and most China OEMs should be ashamed for including them on their phones still (they shouldn’t) Sorry but both the macro on your Note 10 Pro and this 12 Pro are garbage 🤣🤣🤣
welcome to the world of being a hop-a-long Im still recovering from my ruptured Quadrecep tendon from last year. Does redmi really need to use four levels of naming?. pro + is better but the less quality on both is a bit naf. lots of flare and reduced contrast
Hehe I've officially joined the club Brad! But hopefully not for long! Yeah the naming of these phones is always crazy, that's one thing you gotta hand to Apple, iPhone 14 boom, so simple 😆
Sorry but these are no budget devices by price anymore, just by specs. 500 EUR, what are they thinking?! Besides, nothing much new, quite dissaponiting. They used to lead this segment, no wonder sales are falling a lot. And why are they unable to release any phone globally together with a china variant, like Samsung does!? These are already old devices, running Android 12.
it just 10x zoom !!! no double click to lock screen wife not connect automatic It does not give me full control over the sound effects Because it is reserved and closed by software Silly flaws in the software
The design.... It really reminds me of something else... Hmm 🤔 JK lol 😆 P.S: Dimensity 1080 is just a tweaked version of the 920 with just an added APU there. So performance will be good but no significant upgrade if you had a phone with a 920 chipset
Stop buying a phone just because they say that they will give you support for 5 year, 10 years or an eternity. That's bullshit. Most of android phones can handle the new apps and new android version for maximum 2 years. So what Samsung is giving you Android 17 on your A54? You will not be able to use it. It will be too laggy. With this hitech speed nowadays, most of the CPU's in android phones are made to last around 2 years. So please stop comparing phones by 'years of software support' . xiaomi is giving you 2 years, since they know that that phone will die in your hand in 2 years - they are honest. On the other side, Samsung is selling you bullshit. I had several Samsung devices and with every little update, they are killing your device and camera and that way they are forcing you to buy 'a faster one' If you want to keep a phone more than 2-3 years, then go buy a regular 2G phone, like Nokia 1100. This is my point!
THIS YEAR WILL BE THE FALL OF XIAOMI. THE HIGH, MEDIUM AND LOW RANGE PRICES RAISED. A FEW MILLION DOLLARS IN LOSSES WILL MAKE THEM REFLECT, WHILE OTHER BRANDS TAKE THE MARKET.
Frankie but for me Redmi Note 12 Pro is a great device overall even it dont have a high MP and charging Note 12 Pro is phone for mostly people but the back design kinda not good because its glossy also Note 12 Pro it can deliver most of your task. 😊

I was beginning to think that there wouldn't be any global releases
Yeah they’re pretty late on this global launch, honestly I thought they forgot about it because this was launch in China like 4 months ago 🤣

450 EUR for Redmi? Not a chance! Xiaomi is dead meat with these prices, unfortunately :(
So that’s why they’re called “budget killers”. They will kill your budget. 😅
