SOCOM Athlete events are open exclusively to individuals who are pursuing a military career in U.S. special operations. Eligibility criteria to attend SOCOM Athlete training is located on the SOCOM Athlete website at the "Hell Day" FAQ page. It doesn't if you're an average Joe working a 9-5 desk job, what matters is whether or not you have aspirations to become a special operator in U.S. military.

looks like this is actually done by real active duty instructors, not like those other expensive programs where you just get hosed in a industrial parking lot
To attend this training, you must already be in the military or pursuing a special operations contract in the military. Hell Day is an official military-partnered prep course ran by active duty Special Operations personnel designed to equip individuals for success prior to attending Special Operations selection courses.
So is this actual special forces training, as in part of the US military, or is it just so weak men can pay to feel accomplished without signing up for real service?
We have students from various backgrounds. Some are awaiting graduation from high school, while others are older individuals working to transition away from 9-5 jobs as they have families to support. Regardless, Special Operations pipelines are constantly evolving. Under our program, students receive the most current and up-to-date information about what to expect in their respective pipelines. Our instructors are active-duty operators. Through their mentorship, it has statistically been shown to increase the odds of an individual passing selection, as evidenced by the hundreds of graduates we've coached. Not only are students prepared physically and mentally, but their weaknesses will also be exposed. In selection, everyone will hit that 'wall.' Why not find out here, in a forgiving environment, versus the real deal? An investment in education always yields the highest returns. "Send Me!"

Hey I just stumbled across this and had a few questions. Firstly can anyone apply to this as I graduated Highschool about a year ago and work a typical 9-5 and are a bit on the short side (I’m thinking about joining in the army in about a year or two). Secondly do you have to be in shape, I ask this, because that’s what that year or two i previously mentioned are for; to get into shape.
Yes you can. I taught myself how to swim using RUclips videos a few months before doing the Hell Day + full weekend package. There were guys in our groups who were even more novice at swimming than me going for Army and could barely swim at all. They break the water portion up into different groups based on ability. It was impressive really how well they were able to hold everyone to a similar stress level no matter their skill level in the water. Safety in the water was impressively managed as well. Despite the chaos I never once felt like the water portion wasn’t unsafe or unmanaged. The student to instructor ratio was on point for the water portion and most of the day. Would be happy to give a full breakdown of the experience if wanted.
Thank you SOCOM Athlete for your “ministry”! Lord knows DOD needs it now more than ever. As an FYI…it appears a new U.S. Army pilot program is now accepting Green Card Holders (non-USCITZ) for 18X contracts. Additionally, the Army lowered its minimum GT score requirement from the traditional 110 down to 100. Given the small size of today’s Zoomer generation (compared to Millennials & Boomes)…and the incredibly low % of Zoomers who wish to consider serving in harm’s way to defend our nation…I suspect today’s recruiting woes will remain an uphill challenge. ruclips.net/video/LzEGS5v_a_Q/видео.htmlsi=aYpvKJxzerzWG93O
