the problem with this method is that you are not getting an external view your still getting a vc view externally which isnt what we want if we are looking for genuine external saved views

The problem I've found with this is that external sounds don't come through. For example, I tried this for a nice view of the engines during start up. Great view but it still only plays the internal engine sounds.
Yeah it's a pity that Asobo can't give us saveable external custom views, it shouldn't be that hard to do. And increase the amount of internal views too. 10 is not enough
