- An awesome weekend getaway where a whole bunch of guys with RUclips channels decide to go and have some fun. It all literally started as a whisper that we should do a trip together soon. Gradually the whisper got louder and louder and the timing seemed to fall in place. The whole idea was literally a get together and have some fun while experiencing the wild camping on the West Coast of South Africa.
Camping along this coast can and often is a disaster when it comes to the weather, we were lucky and the overland/4x4/weather gods decided to throw us a bone and it was perfect. With the stage now set for an epic weekend all we had to do was get everyone there and let the festivities begin. Lots of laughs and jokes and some obvious banter with like minded people around the fire made this nothing short of an EPIC and memorable weekend.
Our first night was spent at Trekos Kraal on the coast and our second night was spent at a private game farm named Onder Water Boers Kraal. If you would like to stay at the game farm you may contact us for the details of the farm.
A couple of new kids on the block on this one, but as we are all a friendly bunch once you're with us you are typically stuck with us forever :-)
Boys will be boys and always have their toys...

Got say that you are a great story tell both visually and narrating. You capture the moments that I love , sun sets, fire and coffee in the morning all while having Africa in the background. Excellent job , I see you really love what you do and it shows. 🤘
Thank you so much Neville, really appreciate the support! Lots more to come this year hopefully as things start to ease off a bit. Travelling has been tough over the last year but we should go back to normal hopefully soon...

We are leaving again on the 29th March and going to Klein Tafelberg for 3 nights then Easter weekend at Jamaka Farm then backroads to Moonriver Bushcamp for two nights and Ouplaas campsite for 3 nights

Roland- aren’t light bars illegal in SA ( a d Namib, Bots) .How come you don’t get stopped and fined ??🤷♂️
Hey Alan, sadly they are yes, in all the years I've had them on I've never had a fine. Pretty much anything above your main beams is not legal. Where I drive at night I do often need it and am prepared to pay a fine if that day comes. I do not use it ever on roads at all, it's separately switched (not that this makes it any more legal).

Must be something like that, I think there is so much to donkey that it's either overlooked or just not noticed at all...
By the way, it's not at all illegal in Botswana, Namibia is a R1000 fine which will usually be issued at the border, I've yet to have this happen though...
