I discovered your channel a couple of days ago and love it! I’m 72 years old and received my first Barbie doll in 1960 after my tonsillectomy. In addition, my mother bought me the iconic strapless black gown with the microphone. I was hooked immediately and spent many years playing and re-creating her look. Then, my daughter and I continued, throughout her childhood , playing with Barbies. My mother was a collector and I made oodles of money selling her extensive Bob Mackie collection as well as her Holiday Barbies. Alas I had no room for them and wanted others to enjoy each beautiful creation. Her dolls were all MIB! You are Ab-Fab! I’m disabled and get so much pleasure watching your makeovers. I love her face! It reminds me of early 2000s Barbie face mould with the smaller features and less rounded eyes. Now for the looks! As usual I LOVE THEM ALL! But the last one is definitely my fav she is such a kawaii girl 🥰And the format is so fun and magical plus I’m obsessed with the song you always use. Last but most definitely not least your puppy is SO PRECIOUS! Really stole the show with all that cuteness🥰
Honestly, i think this is the first barbie extra doll that i like as it is. The clothing and accessories finally have some cohesive style. Also im in love with her face and lavender hair!
This doll is really special. She is a throw-back to a better Barbie era in several ways. Her face isn’t pixelated, she has an actual knitted sweater, and you said her hair is saran. I also love the Neysa mold. I haven’t bought an Extra doll in awhile, but this one is a must-have. I love the looks you gave her, but she does look good as-is too, except for the box hair.
Oh those butterfly clips!! I have some awful photos of myself with them with just clipped around my head. Everyone did so back in the day! I really like her! Mimi is a best friend to have so helpful and generous ☺️

Arjen, im having a sucky end of the year. I was in 2 car crashes in a month span. I have a broken hand resulting from the latter (my dominant one). So I can’t work or do any of the things I love. Thanks for continually bringing joy to the lives of us doll lovers 💖💖💖

I remember I really needed that skintone. It’s called LA Tan if I’m not mistaken? I had Cat Burglar head and I wanted to give her adult body (end result looks nice, believe me). And I ALMOST bough blue top but luckily I found out that blue top have 2 skin tones. And LA tan is WAY more expensive. But luckly we have doll brand Sophia in Russia and she have almost identical skintone to LA tan. She even have curvy bodies. And cost like 5$? Body quality is lower but it’s not horrible. It better than some cheap ali express bodies. If you have friend you know in Russia (I assume those dolls can be also be found in Belarus and Ukraine but I’m not 100% sure) you can ask them to get you a few.

@@Barbination I think it's fine when it's intentional, or incidental when playing with dolls. But upskirt shots or chest out in doll photography is distracting from what you're trying to do. I think it ruins a photo in the same way it would with a person... it's unflattering and sloppy. But I got yelled at when I pointed it out once, even though I said "I don't know if you care" and it turned out they did care in a big way... about any suggestion of criticism. But to me it would be like if I was taking a picture in a beautiful park and there was a pile of cow manure or someone blowing their nose or scratching their behind visible... I would want to know if I hadn't noticed that, and it detracts from the picture.😂
haha well I usually try to cover up the joints mostly in a look so I understand 🙈😅 But MIMI is sooo lovely! Her style is amazing and just love her fashions! ^^

I think this is also the same face mold as my Bowie Barbie. Wish they would of used a Ken with a slimmer body instead of using Barbie for the doll. Would of been cool to see Ken with makeup. I'll keep her but as soon as a company makes a actual doll that has his likness I'll sell her.
So happy to see Mimi getting some love!! I know you also love Jenny and Licca, our girls from Japan but I have also been collecting Mimi and Khurn for a long time too and the more people in other countries show them love hopefully the more sellers may be inclined to export them.

I think this is also the same face mold as my Bowie Barbie. Wish they would of used a Ken with a slimmer body instead of using Barbie for the doll. Would of been cool to see Ken with makeup. I'll keep her but as soon as a company makes a actual doll that has his likness I'll sell her.
