As someone who wears pastel goth yes it is an aesthetic more then a trend..Inspired by Japanese yami kawaii..it has been paired down and mixed with American goth..u did a good job for someone not familiar with the style! Only thing is the bright yellow ribbon and bear should be more pastel instead.

The blk and wht look is one of the best yet I have seen on the Barbies. It complements her skin tone. It is unique and stylish at the same time.

She's very different for sure. You did amazingly on her she looked great in all her looks. One thing I learned regarding the shine on these Barbies is you can use a bit of mod podge on the eyebrows and eyes it mattifies the faces, you can use a bit of acrylic paint with water over them also, or even spray a layer of mr superclear. 😊🥰✌💜💖🤗

@@Barbination you so welcome my dear friend, Andrew is amazing! Try a bit of modge podge, seems to work. Mr Super Clear can be bought on Amazon or Ebay if I'm not mistaken only thing with it is that it cracks because its a matt material that layers on top of vinyl faces to be able to be repainted. ✌🥰😊💜

You did such a good job! I’d love to point out that she has quite a peculiar highlight to her cheeks. Idk if it’s the plastic she’s made of or an added effect but I haven’t seen any other Barbie like that. 🤔 I got her recently she’s sooo cute!

I loveeee her boots I never expected Barbie to do that but I really wanted them to. The only thing that I would definitely remove is the unicorn on the top and something in the face (because it feels like to much) probably the pink eyebrows (I would make them a natural color) or the flames.

I'm glad her lips are not a bright colour. Mattel seems to fail at these dark-skinned girls. I really like her original skirt and boots. I would love to repaint them. I was typing just as you said repaint. Get out my head Arien 😆.
I like all of the look books but 3 and 4 have to be my favorites 😍. I want those shoes on L4. Pastel Goth as far as I'm concerned your term. Anyone in comments can fight me 😅. You don't want these verbal lashings.

I wasn't sure about getting this girl but since you worked some Barbination Miracles on her, I probably will. I loved every look she had. Looks 1,3 and 4 were my favorites.
I know the way that the new dolls keep coming out it is hard to keep up. I would love to see if you were able to do something with the girls I sent you? It’s hard to find Saran in the exciting colors. Usually when I buy doll hair, the Saran choices are mostly limited to the basic black, browns, blondes.

I love all your looks! I love everything about this doll except for her makeup. I’m trying to like it, but I just don’t. I do want her but I’ll probably repaint her face, or maybe just darken her eyebrows and add lashes. I think the first look was my favorite but I love them all!❤

I’m not sure how I feel about this doll. It looks like they were trying to make her a extra rock star, but I’m not a fan of the makeup. I don’t like her pink eyebrows. The looks you have her however are awesome! I like the 2nd one the best followed very closely by the last one. Pastel goth should definitely be a thing ❤
He always makes these Extra dolls look better. I also tried to put some of my Rainbow High clothes on a Barbie I couldn't get any to fit.

Love the pastel goth look. But my favorite is her original look.
Pastel goth is a subgenre of goth. There are many subgenre of goth. I love the fashion of the cybergoth. Though I think that subgenre is pretty much dead. It was big 20 years ago though. I still love the style though. Which is why I love the OMG Bahd Grrrl's look alot.
Anyway, this Barbie Extra is a must have for me. Hope I will find ger on a sale soon. It sucks that we Europeans must pay extra for those dolls. Here in Sweden the dolls are expensive.
Not dead hun..I along with tons of other girls still wear it..just isn't a trend anymore its now an aesthetic..more influenced now by Japan's Yami kawaii

I love everything about this doll EXCEPT… the face. Not sure if this is a recycled face mold or a new one, but not feeling it. The pink eyebrows AND the pink flames around her eyes are a little too much. Would have loved to keep the flames and change the brow color. That said, your looks are FLAWLESS, as usual! 🤩🤩🤩

Her hair color gives me so much raven Queen vibe from ever after high also her first outfit is very much like avril lavigne vibe.. And i live for that. The only thing that bothers me is her face paint. I mean she does look like an old woman Who pretend like young ıdk maybe her lips and eyrbrows did not worked for me..

Actually there is no Saran hair available in fantasy colours currently, I have learned this on an Integrity Toys virtual convention. It's more likely that the dolls have Kiwi Nylon hair which feels similar or even softer than Saran hair. But most important: it's no Poly hair! 🫠💖🫠💖
Yes, I saw that video with the designer (I think it was David) from Integrity, and I was thinking the same thing. However, I have several Rainbow High dolls with such soft (once you wash the gel out) hair in vivid colours. I'm not sure why Mattel doesn't use it more. I think it might work better on a larger doll head because it seems a bit thicker and stiffer, but poly is so yucky.
