Thank you so much for the info on bodyswap potential for the twins. I was bummed over the continued lack of articulation for the "younger" dolls but I am definitely happy there are now more face sculpts that are size appropriate for creatable world dolls.

As a Barbie lover since I was a kid, it makes me so sad to see how cheap Barbie has gotten. Fashions are being screen printed, pixel face paint, very little to no articulation, the list can go on. Yes they finally have made a diverse line of dolls, and for that I’m grateful, but they’re so cheaply made.

Do you remember when Barbie had got that really cute makeover back around 2003 2004 and she had the more like Jennifer Aniston body like they really gave her sculpted features they gave the black Barbie a more Brandy look and then when beyoncé got popular they started going towards the Beyonce I didn't really care for that I actually like the Brandy now I don't know what they doing I feel like they trying to move towards Barbie looking more like my scene dolls which they could have just brought back because I mean they're trying to make them look more like those Jimmy Choo dolls but the lack of articulation is baffling because GI Joe has been out for almost 100 years never hurt them to have him do a thousand poses
The tent should come with two sleeping bags and the pillows should be fabric so they can squish into the backpack.

I got the New Malibu and Brooklyn from both Big City shows. I did get Daisy, Skipper, Stacy, Chelsea too for the It Takes 2 show. I hope to I can find Jackson and Jada. I like the idea of Creative World dolls being body swap for the tweens. What is a good one for Skipper and Chelsea. Really enjoying Big City, Big Dreams and It Takes 2 on Netflix. Thank You Toya for giving this old Barbie doll lover permission to enjoy being an adult collector. (My family n co workers think I'm crazy for having so many dolls) 💕👍✌pace
Who thinks all of the Malibu dolls look nothing like the character from the show. She just doesn’t have the same vibe.

@@missjaehill yeah but it was a cabin not a tent. I know she doesn't personally like camping, but you don't have to in order to make a doll tent. Especially when you've got something to make a pattern out of. That's ok, didn't seem like she was feeling well and that stuffs up your brain.

The difference with the Brooklyn doll is that her eyes are printed higher up than before. Also, the lashes are a little different.
I never understand when dolls have button up shirts that velcro in the back. It's not like they're saving fabric by doing it that way, and it makes the shirt less versatile.

When it comes to repeat fashion, may I suggest doing a "thrift" or a "refurbishment" of doll clothing. It could be a fictional doll store or a doll sewing series. Love the creativity!! :-)

I'd like that too, but I get the impression that Toya doesn't like camping in real life, soooo, not holding my breath. She can use the tent as a pattern and make a real one, with a tent bottom, zippers, mesh window , and working zippers on sleeping bags. Her yoga mats could be mattress pads under the sleeping bags

I love these when. I saw these I got so shocked I wanted to buy the camp site set!!
Kid me would have loved that tent and camping set. My sister and I would play that our Barbies were going on vacation all the time, and make them "camp" in the woods. Plus we camped out a lot for real, and always brought toys, so we would have had a blast with a toy camping set. I wish they hadn't cheaped on the clothes and details so much on these sets. They're cute, but imagine if the backpacks were cloth with working zippers? And pockets that were real instead of printed etc. And I wish they would give more dolls full articulation.

I just noticed that Barbie is slowly moving away from tip toe feet. I went to a 5 year old girl’s birthday party and all of her dolls are flat footed, I guess that’s just me.

You know, it seems odd they made plastic pillows, when it would seem fabric pillows would be cheaper (I’d assume). And the repeat fashion is tacky; they can make new clothing (especially when the play set is 10/20 dollars overpriced). I do like they have children sets and such (giving us diverse kids), but really the basic dolls should have been made to move for about 15 dollars. And then maybe had a budget swimming doll for 5-8 dollars. Just really disliking how pricey it is, but has nothing to it. I don’t mind budget lines, but they are that price. Two basic dolls cost 10? No! Fashionistas (the poor girls) are like 8 dollars at Walmart and that’s the correct price for these (even fashionistas come with more and don’t (as of recent) have one piece outfits). Really, it’s sad. I also wish they had more barbie sized characters in this line (like Rafa and Emmie). Just very cheap looking and had quality control (in making it, not what was shipped).

Yaya I simply enjoyed this video, always liked your unboxing videos and full description of the item, it is a bit sad they put the same fashions on the dolls but it gives buyers the choice of just buying the doll or the accessory pack I think. Love the camping tent, it reminds me of 1993 Camp Barbie I still wanna collect it one day. Plus body swapping included which is always helpful to many of us Toya, I have followed a few of your body swaps, I did place a skipper doll on a creatable world, one on a Liv Doll body, a Stacey doll on a Snap Star body and recently I used my Barbie Looks petite to create my own MTM Skipper, would the Twin sister not fit a Petite Mtm body? i think you could do better dyi'ing the tent frankly. you might even give it a floor. i guess Babs doesn't have bugs or other pesky pests that can get into the tent so no biggie but still...
as far as the sets go, i would be annoyed at having so many repeat dolls when i just wanted the accessories. but that's just me. i have limited space so having too many of one thing is anxiety inducing. ^^;;
