It's darkly hilarious to me, as a disabled person who uses a wheelchair frequently, that the Barbies with wheelchairs are made to move. Due to pain, I myself have the articulation of a dollar store doll, so the irony is thick. (I'm not offended, bee tee dubs, my chronically ill brain just thinks that's really funny.)
I find the irony really funny too! Somehow it's extra funny that it's a Made to Move instead of just added knee and elbow joints so they can sit properly in the chairs.
Same. My chronic illness is less visible (I get tired very easily and sometimes get the shakes) but I do use a walking cane every now and then. I bet even the dolls with a prosthetic were given MTM articulation 🤣

The Holiday Barbie dress would be PERFECT as a wedding gown. Also, I LOVE her face and the hair twists. I don't usually get the Holiday Barbies, but I might have to get one this year

The fashion style with the metallic silver plastic top (at 17:10) could also be called Casual Armor. Or maybe it’s a Knightcore aesthetic the designers were after. 😉
I knew about all of these, but I just love seeing and hearing Toya’s presentation. I have 2 of the 3 Rewind dolls, but the blonde hasn’t made it to any Canadian retailer yet. I also just got the brunette Holiday Barbie with the Kira mold. Amazon Canada had a good sale, but they sent it just in a bag, so the box is crushed. Fortunately Kira was unharmed, and the box is nothing special, but we collectors need to start a petition for collector dolls in soft packaging to be sent in boxes.

I've been ordering the Made To Move Wheelchair Ken Dolls from Amazon because I've been having a difficult time finding them in stores.
I ordered all of mine on Amazon. I have never seen him in stores.
They only sell those in specific stores. Mattel distribution is odd.

I really love the use of reusable packaging in the most recent Barbies! I would have loved that as a kid if the bag was part of the gift in addition to the Doll or outfit. 💗 Happy Holidays! ❄️

You always do such a fabulous job on all of your videos!! You have the gift for this work. I know it's a lot of work but you do it so effortlessly or rather you make it look that way. I do like the Las Holiday Barbie. But honestly I wish Mattel would step up it's game. I know this is a play line but so are the MGA dolls and the difference is night and day. I won't say anymore about that but I am grateful for all of your videos. My favorites are always the craft videos.
Integrity Toys started out in the beginning as a play line. I still love the original Adele dolls but of course I put them on an articulated bodies. `

Come on Mattel.. you where doing so well.. now everything is cheaply made and printed on where is the attention to detail.. especially that the price range isn’t any different (but I do love the Barbie rewind dolls) we need more of this but not as expensive or hard to get 🤷

I'm not a fan of the barbie colour reveal dolls but I like the concept of finding the surprises, I just think that the dolls shouldn't have sculpted bows on their hair and they should have a little more articulation, like moving their arms to the side and all around ❤❤❤❤
You can cut off the entire hook piece above the disc of the neck and it won't change anything. The hook part that is. You only need the disc attached to the sphere in the neck. The dolls before 2000s didn't have this hook.
Omgosh! The dolls are so much more fabulous when fully articulated but, maybe Mattel makes the 5 pointed dolls for much younger doll fans.
The Holiday Barbie is really gorgeous! I do like the dress more, without the breastplate though (that thing looks so uncomfortable! Unless you're a warrior princess 😜!) Also, how would you store it in your closet?!

Toya, I had an idea that might help strengthen and protect the cardboard pieces of the Party Surprise set. Maybe if the tabletop, speakers and other pieces were covered with clear contact paper or packing tape the playtime could be extended. Seeing you use packing tape to make high gloss marble countertops etc. Popped into my mind when I saw you setting up the scene. 😊

I actually kind of like this years holiday Barbie’s. They don’t scream holiday to me, but they’re pretty. All of the play line stuff though is kind of disappointing as an adult collector. (I know I’m not the target audience) but it would be nice if the accessories were painted and the fashions were fashionable. In the early days of Barbie fashion was realistic. I miss that.

I have to get the Barbie 80s dolls especially the rockstar one that top is a must! I will be pairing it with the Barbie Extra doll that came with the leather pants. With a leather jacket of course. I need to get another Barbie Extra number 10 doll so I can let her hair down it’s a must! I will be getting the Barbie Color Reveal Chelsea’s & pets just for the crown accessories & the play set just for the accessories. I definitely need the Barbie music engineer dolls the top is sooooo cute plus I have that top in black so in white will be a nice change & my very different twins. Ugh I can’t wait to go shopping for my Birthday & Christmas!

So maybe Mattel MIGHT think about doing a BarbieXSly Cooper collab with fashion packs inspired by the Sly Cooper games! Maybe even some fashions inspired by the characters themselves?
I dunno, but as someone who played the game, after finding it at a game store by pure accident, I think we fans should show some more love to the Sly Cooper game, along with other games that're obscured!
