I don’t know why they gelled his hair when the artwork shows him with his hair blowing in the wind! OMG! The Lookbook was jaw dropping gorgeous! Literally GORGEOUS! He looked sensational! @@jiggerblayne …. Look at how beautifully his hair turned out after the gel was removed. The Ken dolls with shorter hair often are problematic but this Ken has longer hair which was soft and easy to comb. I think, at times, doll manufacturers make decisions based on what’s easiest, not aesthetically pleasing to the customer. I’m just so pleased Arjen took this Ken to the next level of perfection. He’s the very best Barbie enthusiast on RUclips and I so love each and every one of his videos. 👍🏻🌹👍🏻

It’s gonna be sitting for days or months in box, they put the gell to keep it down and not look unpresentable in box. Your supposed to wash it out after or I guess keep it that way if you really want but most are gonna wash it out.

I love this Ken more than any other Ken. The outfit is perfect and the cute accessories are perfect! I've had him for a month sitting in a mid century chair on my desk with his cocktail, like he's waiting on his flight. And more so because I have been applying for jobs in Florida. Wow! Fabulous looks! My favorite was the first one. We DEFINATELY need more Barbie Extra Fly Ken's. Of course I had to have him. LOL I never thought Ken as an accessory. To me he's always been Barbie's number one flame. 🙂 But then I was 3 when they met. LOL I WAS 6 when I was given my first red headed bubble cut Barbie. I didn't get my first Ken until they released Malibu Ken in 1978. I was 20 and was hiding my "obsession" since I was supposed to be grown up by that time. Lord I'm so old! Ugh! Still love the doll and still have a few of my older ones. Ken went surfing and disappeared.🙂

It is really touching to me to imagine one of the young boys today collecting dolls getting to see the shoes and all the little details they gave him. I was eyeing him and might need him. That Hello Kitty look was so sweet, and the final, and I died over the pink hat as well. He is just too cute.

Love this video and the final look! I've had Extra Fly Ken for the past couple of months and he immediately became a favorite (after I de-gelled his hair, lol). Love his clothes, bag and accessories. Please let me know if original body can spread legs? When they made this body for fashionista it couldn't spread legs, then they made same body with legs that spread but stiff arms and legs...😡. @@Barbination Like I don't understand. It takes same amount of plastic and same production process to make them right and to make them wrong. It is only matter of fact that someone in design team of a 50 year old tradition "forgot" to adjust joint so it can also spread. It is a shameful thing from design point of view. A waist of resources and waist of opportunities for laziness or shallowness during design process. I know it's just a plastic joint on a "useless" dummy but it is showing what is wrong with the word. We do things fast without thinking enough and destroying environment for not perfect outputs. Design needs to be perfect and to last. This one is wrong in it's basic core and the one who made it should be ashamed. Almost perfect is worse than nothing at all.
