I thought the barbie fly series were some of the best dolls in a while...I feel they seem to be finally taking a step in the right direction with fashionistas now too a slight improvement
This one has a beautiful face... Looks like a mix of modern and vintage... Honestly she reminds me of late 90s early 00s Barbie dolls from her face mold to the glittery suit she has on. Adorable. Maybe a little bit overdressed but she wouldn't be called EXTRA and FLY otherwise. I love her and she's pastel too, so perfection.

Your sets and editing are superb 👌 Mattel needs to hire you asap as a Barbie fashion designer bcuz your creations are seriously waaaay better than what's available in stores. Hi Arjen! Thank you once again for bringing some pastel glitters and happiness to us! I loved all the looks you did! The Millie face sculpt to me is only nice with closed mouth. I don't know what it is but on photos most of them give me nothing but vacant. In the 90's we were quiet spoiled because Barbie even with the same face mould always looked different, the makeup, eye colour, hair, she was never a clone we could easily identify the main stream ones the minute we saw them. I guess me personally would prefer a face screening without the vacant look, the awful pixilation and a bit different, she looks way to plain now. I will say I do like the Barbie Extra Millie they actually can take nice photos and look less vacant, a few content creators have put mod podge on the pixilation to stop it being shinny. I hope now with the Barbie Movie having catapulted Barbie once again that we get some more beautiful dolls that we know Mattel can deliver, they just need to stop being complacent and get a shake up and produce more dolls like the Barbie Looks, Cutie Reveal, Even the BMR dolls were quiet nice. Thank you again for shinning a bit of happiness, England's pretty much been grey, and rainy all through July, no summer here this year. The weather in the UK is bipolar I just came back from a family camping holiday and its not something I would do again it rained heavily on the 1st day was OK for a few days and we left two days early together with most of the campers due to storm Becky. The handle on the suitcase that normally slides up and down has to stay up because they are popsicle sticks for the ice ream novelties which are are suitcase. Speed Racer is my fav.
I love this girl. I was a kid of the 80’s born in 74 and loved the late 70’s ones as well thanks to my cousins. So in the eighties the fingerless gloves were big. Barbie and the Rockers did it a lot. I have a theory about Millie. She’s probably produced it the largest quantities so Mattel uses the cheapest screening methods for her. So, she’s ends up with pixelation the most often. Probably not true but it’s the only thing that would make sense because why disadvantage the namesake of your brand??
She was the first one in the new series I bought, I was so excited when I got her. She exceeds all my expectations I love the Barbie Extra line, I love you too luv ❤

I got her for my niece (she’s 7). She likes her but she’d like her better “if she wore a dress”. I think she would have preferred your version! The pixelation almost made me not buy this doll, for almost 30€ I except a non-pixelated face. And a brush too!! It’s annoying how they never add one. Her clothes are nice, it’s decent quality (the pattern goes all around and the details are not just printed on) her hair is nice, long, and not too thin, which is good. She’s also fully articulated, that’s really nice.

I am usually a Millie hater. But this doll! Her outfit is adorable and the light pink lip and pink hair. When I showed my daughter this doll and said I loved her, my daughter said, "But isn't that Millie? You hate Millie." Lol! This Millie is very happily displayed in my Extra collection. And that Hello Kitty jacket...OMG! I adore sanrio. The Generation Girls! I loved that collection. My youngest daughter had quite a few of those dolls.
As usual, all looks were stunning...but the last one is absolutely adecorable!!!! ;-) PS I also loved playing with hot wheels when I was young (along with Barbies, of course) and now know why I love Barbie cars so much!
I love the Millie Face! I have the @barbiestyle ( with Ken ) side eye Millie and I think she's so beautiful! I've just won #1 @barbiestyle short hair Millie and I can't wait to get her! I don't get all the hate for her face! I was born 84 and I think she's a modern softer 80s/90s face. The pixilated versions aren't good though 🙈🩷
I am one of those that isnt a huge Millie face sculpt fan. But there have been two dolls with it that are my favorite as far as Millie is concerned. The first one is the 2017 Holiday Barbie and the second is Barbie Style doll and studio playset. They way those faces are painted or screened make the Millie face look very pretty and glam. In my opinion of course. :)
Really loved all three of Millie’s looks. Each one has an element that makes her fabulous. I do wish Mattel would step up the footwear designs. Her boots could have used painted on laces and a fur border. And her fingerless gloves should have been material. Many Rainbow High dolls have them and I adore them as an accessory. Love when Mini Arjen appears on the scene. He chooses the best outfits, is always perfectly attired and never insists on driving. 😂 So much pastel fun on my feed this morning thanks to Barbination. 👍🏻💞🌹💞👍🏻. p.s. I came back and watched Millie and Mini Arjen for a second time ☺️

I have been buying a few of the vintage dolls I had when I was a kid (superstar barbie, Winter sports barbie) but this is the first modern Barbie that I felt the need to pull the trigger on. Have you ever looked around or shopped in Etsy? You know, for clothes for your dolls :) There are so many crafters and shops that would really suite your pastel style.
I sometimes take a peek over there but I find those prices just ridiculous sometimes 😳 Love to see what people are able to craft but not loving the €50 euros they ask for it 😅🙈 But thanks for the tip! I’ll give it another chance 😉🥲🩷
@@Barbination Yes I understand. I know it can take hours to craft and make miniatures but still not everyone can afford those prices or have another things to spend their money on. But you should keep an eye on it, sometimes you can make good finds :)

Luckily for me I was a child in 89...Period sucked but Barbies were the best and unsurpassed ever since. If I were a child today, I would never hook on Barbie and maybe I would be a heterosexual or at least a less feminine gay 😂

I sometimes take a peek over there but I find those prices just ridiculous sometimes 😳 Love to see what people are able to craft but not loving the €50 euros they ask for it 😅🙈

@@Barbination Yes I understand. I know it can take hours to craft and make miniatures but still not everyone can afford those prices or have another things to spend their money on. But you should keep an eye on it, sometimes you can make good finds :)

Hmm well use a straightener with heat setting maybe? Not a regular one because that will burn the hair immediately
