I just realized that these aren’t successors to ‘Ever After High/My Scene’ like I thought, but more like Mattel’s take on ‘Rainbow High’. On their own, they look okay, but when compared side-by-side with ‘Monster High’, they appear way too bulky. Also, the lack of chest articulation is honestly a deal breaker, which is a shame since they’re really cute but Monster High has spoiled me with their superior chest mobility.
The box says to watch the show on RUclips Kids. So, they are technically dolls from the RUclips Kids show and have nothing at all to do with Rainbow High.

These dolls are so cute! It’s a shame they skipped out on some of the quality, with just a little more attention to detail and better materials they could have been truly phenomenal. I still really like them though, and I’m happy to see Mattel embracing “Barbiecore” again - I think this is a great direction for the brand. Wow, welcome! I just stumbled upon this video and I was intrigued by the thumbnail itself, it looks like something I have never seen before! The setup is also cool, like restyling them brings so much imagination and love to see what you come up. The branding is also unique for a doll collector since I managed to watch a lot of doll tubers for years now. However, I do hope some of the elements in these videos be reconsidered or give a second thouht. I do notice the minimalistic and calm nature of this video, the soft and relaxing tune that plays, the clean and simple background and environment, and the small and white text that linger arounds. I appreciate them but at the same time they make me feel something uncomfortable as I watch through it. The environment feels like it was shot in a liminal space. A place that is void and away from human existence. It feels cold and uneasy. The music may relax me a bit but it hightens the feeling of loneliness that this video has. It feels like I am alone in this experience and I am watching two inanimate objects. It also doesnt help that there's no presence of human entity like a voice or something that would imply that there's a human behind this video. I do hope in the next video, you reconsider some of the design choices. What I would suggest is add some lively and engaging music to match with the vibes of the dolls. The dolls are spectacular and colorful, but they are washed out so heavily in this video that made it felt like their life source was taken. Beside than that, it would help alot to add more color to these video, some accent lighting would add more depth in the background and would also make the video pop. The key element is to add "warmth" to these videos so it doesn't make the viewers alienated. Something they can "feel" that is relating. If do reconsider using voice clips, it would also help a lot since human voices gives of that "trusting" aura that humans appreciate no matter what accent u have. In the end I do hope for the sucess of this channel! Looking forward for more! ✨💫🌟

Nice review 👍! So are they the same size as regular Barbies but with bigger heads 🤔? They do remind me a lot of Barbie Extra dolls & that's probably why they discontinued them so they could make these instead 🤓
