It's so interesting that you mentioned Renee's loose head and non-removable earrings; my Renee has those exact same issues! Must be something common with first production run.
ahhhh wow!! im wondering if the earrings are intentionally permanent, but a bummer for sure about the bobble head. I hope yours isn't toooo bad!!!
@@dolls2remember It’s not too bad, she just has a tendency for her head to fall all the way back if tipped backward. Other than that, she’s good. Hopefully no one’s Renee comes with a fully broken neck out of the box; that would be traumatizing

I love Renee from this line, and I really want to get her at some point! She is so beautiful, I love her hair, and her clothes are absolutely adorable. I also want to try her clothes on my Shadow High dolls as well!🖤💜

Renee is VERY cute! She is my favorite out of the two, but I think from what I see that Teresa might be my fave. She's so cute!

Renee not coming with a skateboard is disappointing considering it’s mentioned in her bio - and I’m shocked a new doll line drop wouldn’t come with an additional outfit to hold us over until the fashion packs arrive. I don’t love the tensile hair on her and Brooklyn, but these girls are gorgeous.
I would really love a skateboard for Renee too! And a second outfit would’ve been very very great as well. Hopefully the line will expand quickly and we can have a lot more clothes and accessories and new hairstyles to enjoy soon! Thank you for watching. Xoxox

I use to call neck pegs “corks” when I was a kid lol. I figured out how to fix them for my dolls and my sister’s dolls.

@@dolls2remember still waiting for my stuff from storage. Don't know when they're going to the storage place. I'm really getting annoyed. Certain people in our home have they're stuff. But i only have my clothes. A few pictures of my niece's and nephew's when they were younger. And 3 pairs of sneakers. I'm always the last man on the totem pole. Everyone always gets what they want.

Great video Grant!! I think this collection of dolls are so incredibly cute. I love Barbie's outfit and accessories, they're just so Barbie!! And of course the pink is awesome. I definitely want all 4!! Yeah Besties!!!

I just happened across this new line of Barbies on Amazon, and LOVE them! I've purchased Malibu, and she's just beautiful! The hair quality is not the best though, and already has frizz! Plus I can't get the two pieces of her phone together- they just don't fit! But love these new face molds and plan to buy the other three. Hoping for fashion packs, too!
ah yay!!! yeah mines was a bit frizzy too- but hopefully it'll clean up well. and same issue with the phone and case for mine toooo!!!! but yes the faces and fashions are so cute!!!
Thank you so much for another great video. We have had the Dream Besties over here in Australia for several weeks. It was very strange as they just appeared on the shelves of the major discount department stores with no fanfare, promotion, backstory or advertising. Had I not been a “collector” I would have had no idea who they were - and that they were not yet released yet elsewhere. I (of course) had to buy all four (so no “bestie” got left behind). I haven’t unboxed my “besties” yet - as I am still deciding how I want to display them. Strangely Australia also seemed to receive the latest Disney Descendents early too - and we had the Miniverse “My Mini Baby” (that a lot of collectors have been searching for) for over 6 months before Europe and the USA finally received them. Maybe it is because Australia are considered part of Asia and are obviously closer to the point of manufacture or we have a quicker import-to-retail process - who knows??? But it has been very nice to be early to get something instead of trying to wait patiently while everyone else unboxes their beauties 😊 I am curious to see who might come out next - I hope it is a bestie Ken or a Blaine or a Midge ❤️

I just got Malibu online 💖 She looks the best to me but I do want them all. I hear a roller skating line and Ken/Daisy are going to be released, probably near Christmas?

I wonder why a lot of new dolls coming out are smaller than the normal 12inchs they usually are...🎉
So true!! I like that these are pretty close to the classic Barbie height! 😍❤️❤️
The bigger the doll = the more it costs for the base plastic, the bigger clothes, the bigger the playset needs to be which is why a lot of the gimmick dolls (e.g Mixies) are smaller and LUV dolls are specifically smaller so they can have more fashion detail. On the other side - most doll companies sell at traditional stores which have height limitations - if you make the doll too tall (LOL OMG FIERCE) it has to go in a tall box and can't be placed in the convenient places where customers see it the easiest and have to be put on the very top shelf. If you are a brand doing body diversity (Barbie, MH, RH later on) your "average" height doll has to be less than 12" otherwise you can't really go bigger and still fit on shelf.

They are lovely (remind me a bit of mermaid high in terms of articulation, stylisation and there being 4 teenage friends) I plan on getting Brooklyn and Malibu but if the price is right maybe all 4. Not seen them yet in the UK. Love your videos as always ❤

How do you remove the head?

Thank you!!!! And how do you remove the head from the body?? I think the most recommended way is to head up the head either with hot water or blow dryer (protect the hair) or you can also push the head down to the bottom of the neck, leave for two-three minutes, the neck will stretch the hole and then you can pop it off- either way I’ve broken necks doing both these methods before so ALWAYS be careful

just tried descendants- a bit of a tight fit, but you could probably get away with most! haven't tried Harry Potter yet.

I still love them, but I’m so sad that Renee doesn’t have pockets like the stock images. Why even have the flap detail if she doesn’t have pockets?
