- I absolutely love this doll!! I’m completely blown away. I think she’s my new favorite Barbie in my collection… at least in my top 5! And I have a lot of Barbie dolls :)

I was watching a program and the designer responsible for the sweater said she fought for Mattel to include it with the doll. I thought that was so cool.
Hope they see that it was worth it via good sales on this doll! I imagine she will sell quite well because lots of people seem to love her sweater. And also just in general her design is a lot more cohesive and appealing than some other Barbie Extras which have been a little too chaotic for my liking.
Hope Mattel (and brands in general) understands we need actual style so they should really take their creative's point of view/ propositions very seriously

Barbie Extra 20 and especially 19 imo have been my favorite Extra dolls from the line! 19 just hits for me sm especially since I don't think Mattel hasn't really delve into alternative/edgy-esque fashion for modern Barbie as for as I know. Sure it's pink but I still love it sm💕! I just gotta be patient till they're on sale but I seriously can't wait😭!!
Hard Rock Barbies and Tokidoki Barbies come to mind! They are older now and priced pretty high

My favorite Barbie extra is the one that comes in the extra fancy line…the Barbie with pink everything lol. She screams Barbie to me and I love her ❤

I got the last one and she really is gorgeous. I have to restyle her hair because the back updo got stuck in the packaging. I wish dolls weren't such a plastic nightmare to get in! But I LOVE her colour palette; definitely my favourite!

I can't be the only one who misses when doll boxes were more of a box and less of a hellish piece of plastic with cardboard on the back
I think it was on this channel I heard mentioned there’s one particular doll line that seems to be doing away with heaps of plastic in their boxes. Can’t remember what it was, though. But yeah I hate how complicated the plastic boxes can be!! “Hellish” was an accurate description 😂 If there’s any plastic used in a box it should be just a flat sheet at the front of a cardboard box. I guess companies use mostly plastic boxes so you can see more of the doll, but they could still achieve decent visibility with a cardboard box and a simple plastic window.

I’m excited for the direction Barbie is heading in, particularly with this line. It reminds me of the types of dolls I loved as a kid in the 90s
She is definitely one of my favorite Extra dolls. I'd call her hair color periwinkle. I was the same with the butterflies on the sweater. Was gonna cut them off but I decided I really like them. Her face is so pretty!
My favorite is the neon green with the twist. She is my only one so far. I really love her face and freckles. She has hideous pants but her face is one of the cutest i've seen in a while.
Her face and hair = stunning. Her outfit? Trash. It’s the only thing holding me back from getting her, lol. I don’t like a single piece of clothing she comes with :/
I agree. I had alot of Barbie clothes I knew I could find her some thing else and her face alone is worth it. I do recommend her as long as you don't want to play with her hair. . She is my only extra. But that face got me. Lol

I just recently purchased this doll, I also found her beautiful and the cardigan sold me! I only have 6 of the Barbie extra, just the ones I really love.
I recently snagged this doll and I absolutely love her! She's just so beautiful and I adore her face. Definitely one of my favorite Barbies in my collection. She has a 90s vibe and that's the era I grew up in so all of the nostalgia feels with her! 💖✨
I’m really glad to see the quality improving with Barbie. I may have to get a few in the Extra line.
I love this doll so much! I only have 3 Barbie extra’s and this one is definitely my favourite. I also have #2 and the one with the long burgundy braids.

I am not a modern Barbie collector at all but between the Extra & Signature Looks I’ve been thoroughly impressed usually Mattel screws them up.
I wonder if the pets sunglasses fit on a monster high doll, cus I feel like they would be fun for lagoona or ghoulia, I’ll have to try that when I get her lol

The only thing I dont like about her is the face mold. IT is one of my fave face molds but it is soooooo overused!
However I really like this doll. And thank you for telling us about the saran...I was holding of on her because I was afraid of poly.

It's not Lara. They don't use it from a long time. This is the last Teresa invented in 2014. It represents a Latin-American girl.

The main draw for me on this one is her face. I don't actually much care for the sweater. I like her shorts too, and her nice figure.

I like everything about her except the chunky buttons. They are too big/ out of scale for the Barbie. They should have used flat butterfly sequins instead. I wish that they would have realistic pets. I love the doll in the purple top and silver skirt. She is so beautiful. It's a shame that the silver fabric doesn't last very long. The doll with green hair has a beautiful face but I don't care for that hair color and the outfit is boring. She would look great rerooted and in a nicer outfit.

I would love her, and probably get her, except I can't stand bright yellow. The sweater is really pretty except for the yellow. I don't know why they didn't do pale yellow with all the other pale pastel colors. Other than that, she is really pretty.
Personally I love the yellow! It’s bright and fun. I think you could still get her but just don’t display her with the sweater and earrings (they also have bright yellow). I think she’d look good with just the purple pants and white and pale green top; the colours of those go well with the more muted colour of her hair and lipstick. You’d probably have to give her a different shoe, though. Because the hot pink wouldn’t make much sense without the brightly coloured sweater.

I appreciate the sweater, but im not into pastels. Id love to see a more grown-up Barbie in a cream sweater, navy and white striped tshirt and denim wide- leg jeans. Like, actually what's in style right now? A girl can dream...
