    Few more beginner tips, maybe some a little bit advanced:
    1.) Trade Agreements. Get them with as many factions you can (that you don't plan on going to war with). These can double your income per turn, and you have zero military obligations to the factions you are trading with, other than not attacking them.
    2.) Do NOT group your units too closely together. The AI likes to do this, but you should always spread all of your units out a little bit for a few reasons. a.) It makes units a little bit easier to see and control when in combat. b). It makes you hard to flank and c.) It prevents your entire army from being decimated by certain artillery and magic. Which brings me to my next tip:
    3.) Magic! Understanding how and when to use magic, and how the winds of magic works, is definitely an advanced mechanic. But as a TWW3 player, you NEED to learn this. Magic can and will single handedly turn the tide of battles time and time again, and it is not uncommon to see wizards with 400+ kills after every battle. TL;DR: If you can put a wizard type hero in your army, do it. It is always worth it. Which brings me to my LAST tip:
    4.) Heros! Heros are single entity units that can be placed in an army or used on the campaign map for functions your lord wouldn't do. Heros have MANY functions, but all heros level up just like your lords. They are incredibly versatile and can make both campaign and battles easier. Some heros can even destroy enemy cities without a battle (on the campaign map, looking at you Lord Kroak). They take up a unit slot in your army, but usually they are a worth it to place in your army as most of them are both potent in battle and buff your army in some way.
    I have over 3500 hours among the TW:WH games, and I think that covers most of the basic stuff. If I missed anything, please let me know. Have fun!

      One thing to consider when making trade agreements or generally while exploring is that you will discover new hostile factions. Generally not a problem unless you're playing as someone with a lot of legendary lords nearby.

    Well... Disbanding units is double edged sword. AI looks at your army/faction strength. If they think you are weak, they will bully you or attack you. So it's quite improtant to have big armies in the game. Diplomacy of bigger army is always right is kinda bread and butted in TW series.

    The one thing that infuriates me is how often my cav gets bogged down. I see so many videos of people pulling their mounted infantry right out of battle, but when I try to cycle charge, my cav always seems to stick to the unit they just charged into like glue, and when they do finally get out, there are always like 5 to 10 that are stuck in. I mean I am pulling them back as soon as they ram into the unit. No idea what I'm doing wrong.

    bro why the F is this so overpriced, its 60 bucks for the base game then every dlc that adds like 5 things is 10 bucks each, and a new race dlc 19-25 bucks the game looks fun but this aint worth the price

    • @zeriel0009
      @zeriel0009 5 месяцев назад +1

      The trick is not to buy all DLC only get the ones you need for the race you want to play as. The game will have all the races and units anyway DLC only unlocks them for you to use.
      So if you wait for a sale you can get the entire trilogy for very cheap. That way you have all the base races from all games in TWW3 plus immortal empires and the campaigns for those races. Once you figure out who you want to play the most buy that DLC.
      I really like Dwarves so I got the Trilogy, plus DLC: King and the Warlord, and Thrones of Decay: Dwarfs.
      Hope this helps, good luck
