Then you better tell the professor that because there are professors on Earth that don't believe in the existence of God, yet actually hold a conversation WITH students concerning religion.
well it doesnt mean it wouldnt happen but we dont know what professor it was, what school it was, what student it was, we are meant to believe a student of university would be able at a relatively young age to use einsteins argument at his favor, i guess thats the point of this video, we have to belive that this happened, but he is wrong on 1 thing, death isnt the abcsence of life, you dont call the unborn dead yet they dont have life, death is the end of life as we know it, not the end of energy though
Yeah, this was pretty obviously created by someone who has never set foot in an actual college classroom. Yes it is. So are all of these "little christian beating the big bad atheist" videos. This one in the lower level of believable, but it is a little better than most. It;s time to get some real script writers that can give out something that is, at least, in the realms of the believable.

Well this is not correct, they changed the conversation a little and so the meaning changed by A LOT. It is mostly true until where he stopped talking about cold as absence of heat... See, I will judge this because this is based of a REAL conversion between Einstein and his middle school teacher. You can make up your story but it is not right to change an existing one! What actually was said is that “cold is the absence of heat” and it was applied to the concept of “evil is the absence of good” which Einstein said means “evil is the parts of the universe that are yet untouched by god”. Basically there was no debate on god existence in the first place, the teacher was Christian and made the point that god is evil and that is why Einstein argued with him. It's not up to anyone to disprove if God real or not. A believer is making a claim that this particular entity is real, it's up to him/her to prove it. A none believer makes no such claims. Cold technically isn't the absence of heat. It's when an object or particles absorb energy from it's surroundings (endothermic). And heat is when energy is exerted into the surroundings (exothermic). So basically, cold can be measured by the amount of energy the object absorbs.
Allied Sorry, but you're wrong, Don't mix Heat and Temperature together, they are not the same thing, Cold is a colloquial term in temperature that refers to the slow motion of the particles in a system, and it can't be measured, because when you say that you are going to measure cold, you're actually measuring the amount of energy per particle (Heat). So, sorry but Cold is actually the absence of Heat (energy) and not the opposite of heat.
Eternal Abyss actually, cold is, in fact, is the amount of particles in the air. Get a sponge. Put it in water. Is the water gone? Or is it just in the sponge? How can heat be gone, if it's just in the particles itself?

That's no science teacher. That's what a science teacher in a Christian's perfect world would say. In reality, it is common knowledge that cold nor darkness exist, because they are words to describe the absence of heat and light, respectively. We can prove the existence of light and heat through observation and experimentation with the help of the scientific method. Good and evil, however, is completely arbitrary. What heat is to one person is the same to everyone. What light is to one person is the same to everyone. Good is arbitrary. Good is subjective. And evil is not the absence of good. Because you cannot measure good nor evil, you cannot say that evil is the absence of good. And to say that God is good, and to take it one step further and say that evil is the absence of God, would be severely egotistical and misleading.

I just want to say this, the definition of God is that he is supernatural. So when anyone try to measure or find evidence, facts and proofs of God using a scientific method is illogical, how can you proof a supernatural beings using a scientific method? It's like measuring distance with liters or grams, *YOU WILL NEVER GET ANYWHERE WITH THAT METHOD* And also trying to find *direct* proof for God is also out of the question, since we can only go so far as the observable universe, for us to directly observe God that means God has to be within our plain of vision, that means in our universe. If God Is in our universe then he isn't God since he will be effected by time, space and matter: God doesn't get effected by that, so we have to look for indirect evidence
Shadow My life’s a mess this is another concept we human cannot comprehend, we can talk about nothingness, but we can never understand it and it's true. But, think about the claim you made, no one said that God takes on a physical form , we actually believe that God is an essence, so if we said that God has a physical form outside of the universe then it's paradoxical. In addition when I said "not in our universe" I was referring to the realm, we believe that God created 7 heavens and the 7th is the one we live in, maybe the entirety of the 7th heaven is this universe, maybe it's this universe but it contains more than one heavens we don't know the exact details, and when I said God cannot be in our universe I didn't mean it literally I'm sorry for misleading, I meant as in physically. And finally to conclude, you said because God is not in our universe (which was partly my mistake for making it unclear) then he cannot exist, as I explained above not physically but spiritually, then what is our universe expanding into then? If it's complete nothingness how is something becoming nothing?
Shadow My life’s a mess your problem is that you’re thinking that everything that occurs around us has some explanation. If we don’t know the mechanism, we don’t believe in it according to what you’re saying. Then, if you can’t explain it, it’s not true? You simply aren’t intelligent enough to know that you aren’t intelligent. Not everything in this world is explainable, and if you still disagree, it’s just your ego.
All philosophy professors must know the simple rules of argument. With the argument shown it seems that the professor knows little of philosophy, I know all schools must not allow a person applying to become a professor to be a professor without knowing the basics. When having a stand in your argument you must give facts to make a true conclusion. When given with premises, the conclusion may either be true or valid. VALIDITY AND TRUE ARE NOT THE SAME. Validity is just based on the premises you say which could be your opinions, but a true conclusion is dependent on expanded, correct, and educated observations. This is why doctors carefully check you for them to be able to diagnose you correctly and cure you, but if they look at you and make guesses which they think are correct(opinion) then they may give you the wrong diagnosis and it will be difficult for them to cure you. At this point scientists, philosophers, and even other free thinkers out there are still observing to prove the existence of a god. This is why no conclusions must be made yet without having the facts. Before making a counterargument on this, PLEASE DO A RESEARCH FIRST ON PHILOSOPHY THAN MAKING YOUR OWN PREMISES AND COME UP WITH A CONCLUSION

But many Christians believe those theories to be poisonous in some way to their ideas. We dont know how quarks and atoms came into being. But personally I dont think anyone can argue that religion is not manmade. Yes there may be a god but its probably not our god, they way we see him. If theres anything that resembles a god, I am one hundred percent sure it is beyond human interpretation.
Look, if there is such a thing as God. A "person" who created all the universe. All the quarks, all the Quantum rules.. Paul Tillich, the renowned Christian theologian, stated (Dynamics of Faith, 1957) that there is a difference between 'belief' and 'faith'. Belief is based on valid observable, repeatable fact, which is the fundamental basis of all areas of science. On the other hand, faith does not require any form of valid observation or replication of any sort. Faith, using the long held analogy, makes a 'leap of faith' over any need to 'prove' the convictions an individual might hold. I am very glad that I am a scientist. Science can prove what it says!
Thank you for the example, J Will. A near perfect presentation example of the logical fallacy 'Argument from Ignorance' (Latin: 'Argumentum ad Ignorantium'). Further, from the field of psychology, this example provides a serious dose of the 'cognitive bias' well described by the 'Dunning-Kruger Effect.' This PhD, this son of a D.Th. minister, and (especially) this former two-tour multiply decorated combat 'grunt' with the parachute infantry, does indeed experience a limited measure of enjoyment from the 'Schadenfreude' this example has induced as a secondary side-effect. Under normal circumstances I would so enjoy a spirited rational and logical discussion regarding the issue of 'belief' v 'faith. However, it is my long held conviction that one should not encourage individuals who are rationally and logically unarmed.
Extending the professor argument: if you can't perceive a difference between God and Satan, then the question is not whether God exists, or whether God is Good, or omniscient ---- it's whether he is different from Satan. If God doesn't always help the good, wouldn't satan not always influence the bad??
The thing is that there is such a thing as free will. because God created Satan it does not make him Satan. Satan was created good and then he decided to break away from his original design which made him turn evil and cause evil things to occur. Just because God can do all things does not mean he will. He has given all living beings the ability to make choices on their own, therefore what Satan does is not an extension of God or who he is, it is simply a choice of Satan. God is the cause for all things good without God there is no good. It is however impossible to understand the extension of this argument because unlike God we do not know all things therefore we cannot understand all things. That is why we hold on to our faith if you want to know more then look for God and ask him yourself and maybe you will understand why thousands of years later where still talking about a man who died on a cross.
I've always imagined about time travelling And there are two things in particular I would like to do 1. To check if the history we know now is flawed (or to show people history which their government try to hide from them) 2. To check what actually happened during the time of Jesus

This is SUCH a strawman fallacy. This "conversation" wouldn't actually take place except in the mind of a theist attempting to prove some point. And saying that "science says your god doesn't exists" is not something science would or even could do because science only operates in the physical world and doesn't address that which it cannot test....therefore would never make such a conclusion as "god doesn't exist". And especially when the student starts to question the professor,....this is more of the same. Things like this don't actually happen.....outside a "God's Not Dead" movie. I am Muslim and in my college, There's a professor ask me "is GOD are real?" and I said "Yes it is." and more argument and more until I said "If you think you're good enough to think GOD is human, can you prove it?and you asking me why I can't see GOD?I can't feel it,taste it and more. But do you know that GOD is not human and GOD made us. How you live? Why do you live if you're not trust in GOD?If GOD doesn't exist, why do you exist?" then the professor stared at me and he crying. I felt sorry for him bcoz I think I make him feel bad. But I made the professor happy with smile. He forgave me bcoz I have the FAITH to link us between GOD and us.(sorry for my bad English)

I’m sorry, but your statement doesn’t make sense. A name is not comparable because you cannot measure a name. There is not absence of a name because a name is not measurable; your statement is invalid, (I’m confused as to whether you genuinely didn’t understand that, or if it was a joke, I’m sorry I’m really bad at social cues)

I do not believe in a personal God and I have never denied this but have expressed it clearly. If something is in me which can be called religious then it is the unbounded admiration for the structure of the world so far as our science can reveal it." (A.E.)
We can prove the existence of brain. We can even see and touch it, well the host would be dead by then. What it means is that this whole NARRATIVE STORY and its LOGIC is rather flawed. I warn any person who would overlook such area and use it as a probable opinion or point.
derian schmidt, get it plain and simple, dying is not a path any theorist rely upon for, particularly to give support to their thesis. You know why because when death occurs you don't come back to tell if you saw God or not. Moreover my comment was intended to point out the OVERLOOKED that the aforementioned story has applied while coming to the apparent logical conclusion. Because i certainly know one or the other person will take this story as his point of view or rather as his argument to the never ending debate on science and religion. And if you follow me properly that would mean more impurities to the dialectical process. Ps: I'm not an atheist. Nor am I skeptical about His existence. But surely my religion or rather my belief is not based on blind acceptance. Don't ask which religion I'm talking about because I'm talking on a rational point of view and not the orthodox ones.
derian schmidt, Philosophical it is. But what's the conclusion then. Surely the two analogical subject of comparison is not coterminous, neither in scientific sense nor in philosophical perspective. If I were the professor i would have simply said,“ dear, i can proof that I have a brain, come lets go do some scanning.".My point was simply on subject used for logical comparison and its Flaws. This particularly with the usage of 'BRAIN'.
Just an amateur filmmaker Explain. Philosophy may use some scientific arguments to back up philosophical ones but it is totally different. How is it dumb when it is literally built around deeper thinking?
This made me trilled so much. I am an Agnostic, but to me if God exists we need it's prove to us and that could let us to understand the conflict between Science and God. Actually every thinks so Science and Mathematics are opposite of believing God but true is we are finding it's origin in order to claim itself as GOD! Fatih is different thing but originallty is different thing. If God exists it have to show it's reflections in order to prove itself as real. For me God is the purity of Mathematics and Physics this thing also including Philosophy could prove it's existence and for this we will need some thing unexcepted. Einstein to was searching answers of God, he also was in favour to prove god in equation but at last he couldn't.

you just put the context of the video, and threw it out the window.... the point was, we belive in things we can't see... and many are true. Plus, who said that the two couldnt co-exist. Science and God could find a way to prove itself with the help of eachother

My turn now: Once a student asked its professor. How can you tell apart good from bad? The professor says, you use your common sense and do what you think it's good. The student says. Then my common sense tells me to take a gun and kill you. The professor answers: Well ok, what stops you? The student says, it's my religion which teaches us what is good and what is bad. The professor says: If it wasn't that you would've you killed me? The student remained silent. - Think about it, is really religion all it keeps you from doing it? Then the student answered: No, I actually didn't mean it but what if someone wants to do that? What will stop him without religion? -Well, you see son, our instincts and our education will prevent most of the people doing that. But like 1 in a million, there can be such individuals that have the wrong genes and grew up in the wrong conditions. Plus the majority of these do it for a reason not just like that. Those with killer genes won't be stopped by religion anyway.
Asad Ahmed or you could understand them and not tell someone you know nothing about to relive his childhood. Next time, just fuck off and keep your opinion to yourself instead of annoying someone who tried to be funny and a good person to make complete strangers laugh.
If it is your common sense that tells you good from bad, then what if your common sense tells you to shoot someone and kill them would you do it. Yes because that is what my common sense tells me is right. A human can pleasure himself in many ways that includes drugs murder or sex etc. but religion is what tells you you spare the mans life and put the gun down. Religion is what tells you good from bad
I greatly respect both this professor and this student. They listened to and respected each other. So many debates go haywire and heated, but these men remained calm. Wouldn't it be nice if all participants in all debates controlled themselves like this?
This... I don't believe in God, but the professor in this story is being disrespectful to religion, something most of us know to respect and honour. Why? Because it teaches smart people. With us being humans, we believe completely different things. If I were to tell someone I believed everyone was a God, who'd stop me? From my point of view, there is no God, but for many others, there is a God or there are many Gods. None of us should be this straight up disrespectful for a persons believes. We can educate, tell someone about our point of view, we shouldn't hate someone or disrespect someone for their believes. People like the teacher, to me, are one of the reasons we have a bad name to some as us 'crushing peoples believes.' No, we're just people that don't agree. While I love talking to people from different believes, I wouldn't dream of pointing out one person and making them answer such guestons as 'If God created everything, he must be evil.' This is not inspiring, to me at least. While the student had clever remarks, it was insulting an older person. A thing not at all inspiring. I don't know, why I watched this, it was recomended to me for some reason. Maybe because Religion is so interesting? The believe in something can be comforting or terrifying, depending on the belief. That makes Christianity among others so interesting.
This isn't real. It is fictional propaganda meant to make atheists look intolerant and college professors look like evil secularists. It's anti-intellectual and the music is really annoying.
David Dyer Maybe, but these is still the fact that if something like this happened, neither would be right in my eyes. No matter, who are the ones fighting.
a lonely spoon Nobody makes stupid points, these were points that you 'see' on the screen, those points from both sides might be invalid (especially from the students side), but of course the professors points seem invalid to someone that believes in God, to me, the points proving God is real were not valid. So? We look at things different ways.
Call me Eko both sides had freakin hillaroous points and we just trying to put the other person in a "lower" position. The argument of the teacher about our inability to see hear etc. god is stupid. Specially for a teacher (im an atheist). You also cant see black holes but at thiz point were almost certain they exist. If this was a real life scenario i thing you could excuse the student for being a lot younger and unwise. Also the teacher started attacking the student and violently tried to make him acknowledge the nonexistence of god which is just inappropriate for a teacher.
God created his angels with options and freedom just like us. Satan was Lucifer, and he was an angel. He grew jealous of God, and rebelled. God did not create Satan, he created Lucifer.
How can we call something good if we have no bad to compare it to? Every right needs a wrong. Every good needs a bad. Every light needs a dark. Every angel needs it demon. Every god needs it’s devil.
I don't think good/evil is subjective at all. Doesn't matter who agrees or disagrees- people have a lot of twisted, messed up ideas about what's right. But our opinions or what's normal/popular atm doesn't change what's right/wrong.
No no no, if someone had a perfect life and then found out god gave it too them, unless they are an asshole, they’d be very grateful. If they are an asshole god should have had the foresight to know about that ( he is omnibenevolent in Christianity, if you are a Muslim the bottom half of this doesn’t matter)
@Benazir Fernandes we didnt pretend that didnt happen... infact, only non muslim geniuses are spread around the world such as albert eisntein, isaac newton, and all that. You pretended that aljabar, a muslim genius who invented algebra, didnt exsist (or at least not taught to kids abt him) so that kids nowadays have a mindset that muslims arent smart
This is nonsense. I am 100% sure this interchange never happened and anyway is nothing but a debate on semantics. First off, how and why would ANY professor know the beliefs of any of their students? I had thousands of students in my career teaching microbiology, I had no occasion to know the religious beliefs of any of them. And a philosophy professor (who apparantly doesn't even understand proper English grammar and rules of punctuation) would not be the one I would like to see having this debate. Try an actual scientist such as a physicist or biologist and let's see how the discussion of science vs faith as a method for determining facts ends up.
The burden of proof is on the believers and frankly their only proof is a book that we dont even have a copy of a copy of the original and a warm fuzzzing feeling they get. seems they might be short of logic. galielo already proved the earth isn't the center of the universe.
@@riveratrackrunner You could argue the same about Darwin's theory of evolution; all science has for proof of his theory is his writings. But believers of Darwin's theory perhaps see it in nature, hypotheses, and scientific debates, just like believers (whether they be Christian, Jewish, or any other group who believes in a Higher Power) might see God's handiwork in science itself, deep serious study of the Bible and/or other religious scripture, and spiritual discussions. It's all rooted in what your personal preference is as far as what you believe to be true, regardless of any/all tangible or intangible "proof" you have in your knowledge or possession. If people want to believe there are leprechauns and a pot of gold at the end of every rainbow, let them think that; it shows they have a vivid imagination. Let them "discover" for themselves whether or not their "theory" is true or false. (Besides, who can say what's truly at the end of every rainbow? Has anyone ever been?) There's no need at attempting to prove people wrong or tear anyone or their beliefs down, since that doesn't accomplish anything whatsoever, unless you get an icky form of pleasure out of it. Plus, some people might view those actions as demeaning and even unintelligent, and no one really wants to look that way. Also, did Galileo ever "prove" the earth was not the center of the universe? Heliocentrism was seen as "absurd and foolish," just like Darwinism is today, by the head of churches past and present. The only way we know the earth revolves around the sun, and not vise versa, is through mathematical calculations, scientific estimations, and eventual confirmations through space travel. And there are still people who believe the earth is flat, despite all this "proof," which is, again, why I say to let people believe what they want to believe. Whatever truth is out there will be found one day, and we will all eventually realize how interconnected everything is on a scientific, philosophical, and, yes, spiritual level. Hopefully, we can all get along in the mean time.
@@manaspajamas5071 yeah galileo did prove it so did other prove that he was correct too.. that's why the church had him killed. Because they are sore losers. But yeah if we put differences aside we would accomplish more as a species. I don't see it happening tho.

Thank you for being kind and thoughtful in your reply, even if we might agree to disagree on certain subjects. Another fake student/teacher description. It was fake when people used little Einstein for this, and the new versions are still fake and bad as arguments: www.snopes.com/religion/einstein.asp The argument contradicts the Bible: " I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things." - Isaiah 45:7 If you don't believe that the verse is true, then it's not that important. The opposite of cold is not heat, is hot. Hot and cold is a degree of heat: low temperatures are cold, high temperatures are hot. If you assume that a value of a measured temperature is the same as hotness, it's trivial to measure the coldness, especially if there are a minimum and maximum temperatures. All you have to do is invert the value. The opposite of darkness is not light, it's brightness. A similar argument used for cold and hot applies here. Does the lack of heat exist? Does the lack of light exist? Yes. Aren't you convinced? Does the absolute zero temperature exist? Do dark holes (absolute darkness) temperature? Yeap. It becomes very weird to say that those things don't exist when you can observe it. Saying that darkness doesn't exist means that there's brightness everywhere, or that the existence of light is senseless. You could say that darkness doesn't *really* exist, in some metaphysical opinion (it's just a measurement, not the real thing), but that also applies to brightness. That would be same as saying that words don't *really* exist because they only exist in the sense that imagination (the opposite of real) exists. That seems something that naturalists and materialists agree. Ancient Greeks found out that the Earth was not flat by observing the shape of the Earth. Later, without leaving Earth, it was found that the Earth is not the center of the Universe without. Nobody ever observed directly, for instance, photons. Science is hypothetical-deductive. We can reason what is expected or not expected to happen if something is true or false. It seems that most people, especially creationists, conflate common sense with science, but they're very different ways thinking. I suppose Philosophy teacher wouldn't make a similar mistake about science, especially taking into account that I learned that subject in the first month of the first year of Philosophy in High school. Not even New Atheists would use the "Philosophy teacher" argument. The argument from the video is a straw man. You people don't really think through about what you say. If you want to read Christian arguments and literature, choose the intelligent ones and also read the criticism.
Does God create evil as it says in King James Bible - Isaiah 45:7 and Amos 3:6? Isaiah 45:7 and Amos 3:6 (Isaiah 45:7, KJV) - "I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things." (Amos 3:6) - "Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?" Is God really the one who created evil? To answer the question we must first look at how the word for evil, rah, is used in the Bible, examine the context of the Isaiah 45:7 passage, and look at other passages on the same subject. First of all, the Hebrew word for evil, rah, is used in many different ways in the Bible. In the KJV Bible it occurs 663 times. 431 times it is translated as evil. The other 232 times it is translated as wicked, bad, hurt, harm, ill, sorrow, mischief, displeased, adversity, affliction, trouble, calamity, grievous, misery, and trouble. So we can see that the word does not require that it be translated as evil. This is why different Bibles translate this verse differently. It is translated as calamity by the NASB and NKJV; disaster by the NIV; and woe by the RSV. Second, the context of the verse is speaking of natural phenomena. "I am the Lord, and there is no other; Besides Me there is no God. I will gird you, though you have not known Me; 6 That men may know from the rising to the setting of the sun That there is no one besides Me. I am the Lord, and there is no other, 7 The One forming light and creating darkness, Causing well-being and creating calamity; I am the Lord who does all these," (Isaiah 45:5-7). Notice that the context of the verse is dealing with who God is, that it is God who speaks of natural phenomena (sun, light, dark), and it is God who is able to cause "well-being" as well as "calamity." Contextually, this verse is dealing with natural disasters and human comfort issues. It is not speaking of moral evil; rather, it is dealing with calamity, distress, etc. This is consistent with other scriptures. For example, "And the Lord said to him, "Who has made man’s mouth? Or who makes him dumb or deaf, or seeing or blind? Is it not I, the Lord?" (Exodus 4:11). "Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?" (Amos 3:6). Also, take note that Isaiah is presenting contrasts. He speaks of "light" and "darkness," "well being" and "calamity." The word "well-being" in the Hebrew is the word for 'peace,' "Shalome." So, in the context, we are seeing two sets of opposites: Light and dark, peace and non-peace, or well being and calamity. The "evil" that is spoken of is not ontological evil, but the evil experienced by people in the form of calamity. From the above two verses (Exodus 4:11; Amos 3:6) we can see that the Lord is involved in calamity and problems in the earthly realm. Exodus 4:11 is speaking of human frailty and Amos 3:6 is speaking of woes in a city. It is not a moral evil that God brings, but calamity and distress upon people. Of course, this raises other questions of why God would do such a thing, which I won't cover here. But, we can trust that whatever God does is just and is used for teaching, guiding, and disciplining His people. Third, there are other verses that clearly show that God is pure and that He cannot approve of evil. “The Rock! His work is perfect, For all His ways are just; a God of faithfulness and without injustice, righteous and upright is He," (Deut. 32:4). "Thine eyes are too pure to approve evil, and Thou canst not look on wickedness with favor," (Hab. 1:13). We can see that the Bible teaches that God is pure and does not approve of evil, that the word rah (evil) in Hebrew can mean many things, and that contextually the verse is speaking of calamity and distress. Therefore, God does not create evil in the moral sense, but in the sense of disaster or calamity.
An aitheist is sinner who does not have the Spirit of God, therefore cannot understand the Bible. So we recommend you to stop quoting the Holy Scriptures.... it will confuse you even more. Just discuss about the topic regarding the existence of the Creator VS Evolution first....
Bright people who can understand virtually anything else are often quickly perplexed when they read the Bible. The reason is that spiritual things “are spiritually discerned” (1 Corinthians 2:13, 14). The deep things of the Word will never be understood by a worldly mind, no matter how brilliant. Unless one honestly seeks an experience with God, he or she cannot understand the things of God. The Holy Spirit, who explains the Bible (John 16:13; 14:26), is not understood by the secular mind. On the other hand, the humble, even uneducated, seeker who studies the Bible receives amazing understanding from the Holy Spirit (Matthew 11:25; 1 Corinthians 2:9, 10).
1 Corinthians 2:14 - But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
You're using text from a book in an attempt to prove the accuracy of the book. That's like trying to prove Gandalf and Bilbo Baggins exist using excerpts from the Lord of the Rings.
Kane Clarke explain b this seems flawed to me. If not who created the universe how is it constantly expanding, is there something beyond the universe such as heaven and hell no one knows our entire existence is based off of THEORIES no one actually knows what happened
Kane Clarke if no god or higher up of sort created this universe we have no propose we were put here for a reason we have a point to our living something has to be outside of our universe to let it be expanding although we can’t figure it out it must be there so something made us we didn’t just appear from thin air bc as you know a little pant must have a starting time point as a seed correct, well who planted all the plants? Did they arise from our molten earth? And if so why don’t other planets have plants and animals? Something or someone put us here for an unknown reason maybe just an experiment.

There are professors who do that.
Im fairly sure they can have a conversation about it, so long as its judt a conversation or something like that
well it doesnt mean it wouldnt happen but we dont know what professor it was, what school it was, what student it was, we are meant to believe a student of university would be able at a relatively young age to use einsteins argument at his favor, i guess thats the point of this video, we have to belive that this happened, but he is wrong on 1 thing, death isnt the abcsence of life, you dont call the unborn dead yet they dont have life, death is the end of life as we know it, not the end of energy though
Yeah, this was pretty obviously created by someone who has never set foot in an actual college classroom. The people who make up this garbage about how terrible college is, have obviously never darkened the doorway of an actual merit based institution.
The teacher did not pick on him, Einstein just interrupted and said this.

Cold technically isn't the absence of heat. It's when an object or particles absorb energy from it's surroundings (endothermic). And heat is when energy is exerted into the surroundings (exothermic). So basically, cold can be measured by the amount of energy the object absorbs.
It actually is, I sorry if I come of rude or something, but that is what it is defined as. It just exerts less heat.
Its like a meter of sorts, you cant go into the negatives, cold, but you can go higher and get progressively lower, heat
NeVa PuRe cold is not the opposite of heat its the opposite of hot.

Eric Henderson yes, I 100% agree with you, I woukd personaly never confront someone just because of their religion
We don’t just know about god from books we feel him and see know he’s there in are hearts and minds but you will only feel him if you accept him you can’t say people who believe in god are weak if anything there strong there stronger than anyone else as they are feeling even seeing or just believing in something so huge that someone with a weak brain could even understand god you must be open minded willing to accept him and you will feel him you will feel your answers to your questions everything that happens is becuase it’s part of gods plan so don’t say something unless you have s backup to that and you wonder why we have sicknesses and death and disasters it’s all one big trial in gods plan so we can return back to him and live with him and become like him he doesn’t do it to us to make us miserable he does it as s trial to make us prove are sleds to home to prove we will not be tempted by Satan as we did chose god in heaven we all will have 1 major trial in are life and a few small ones and if you can get through those and fight through Satan’s temptations and follow gods path you will live with him now I will not comment on anything else all I haft to say is that’s what I believe

I just want to say this, the definition of God is that he is supernatural. So when anyone try to measure or find evidence, facts and proofs of God using a scientific method is illogical, how can you proof a supernatural beings using a scientific method?
It's like measuring distance with liters or grams, *YOU WILL NEVER GET ANYWHERE WITH THAT METHOD*
And also trying to find *direct* proof for God is also out of the question, since we can only go so far as the observable universe, for us to directly observe God that means God has to be within our plain of vision, that means in our universe.
If God Is in our universe then he isn't God since he will be effected by time, space and matter: God doesn't get effected by that, so we have to look for indirect evidence

Zyad AL-otaibe so god doesnt exist in this universe? The only universe that has been proven to exist? So logically speaking your god doesnt exist
And again a proof that religion is a massive mental disease.

But personally I dont think anyone can argue that religion is not manmade. Yes there may be a god but its probably not our god, they way we see him. If theres anything that resembles a god, I am one hundred percent sure it is beyond human interpretation.
Forest Trees It is almost certainly an unimaginably powerful being that couldnt care less what we fucking do tbh
Look, if there is such a thing as God. A "person" who created all the universe. All the quarks, all the Quantum rules.. I mean, praying and all this is massive bullshit because our planet is definitely not a central of universe and God couldn't care less about us. If you were immortal and all this, and created universe, would you care about some little things praying to bunch of Gods and not even one of them is right?
Ondřej Foltýn that shows your character you care less about ppl or things. I don't see why a powerful God wouldn't care for his creation. it's his. why is it unthinkable for God to care? we humans even with the limited power and life we have ,care for things we create. because God created all things and cares for all things is the reason it makes him so profound and loving according the Christian beliefs. Your sentiment though are expressed in the Bible: what is man that you should care for him. his life is but vapor.
A O Yes but first things first, there are billions of us, it's not fun to listen to everyone just saying how their life is bad (that is praying in a nutshell), second thing, there might be another thousands of earth-like plants with "humans" on it.
Why is everyone hating? If you're not a Christian that's your own business, but don't be going on about something you're not even passionate about. I have been made fun of at school every year for being a Christian, but I still hold onto my Faith. ☺
Satan is a former Angeles who betrayed GOD and heaven.

@@lissettecastro4742 God created Satan aka. Lucifer as an angel of light, he stood by God because he was very important. God gives everyone freewill including angels. If God didn't give anyone a freewill then Lucifer wouldn't have betrayed God. Lucifer was jealous of God and wanted to be just like him. He took most of the Angels with him. God knows that the Devils days are timed. He is putting us to the test by giving us a freewill to do whatever. If you pass... you will recieve the most greatest gift.... EVERLASTING LIFE. Queen_ OG Also, because of when Adam sinned, he gave over the earth (which was originally ruled by man) to the devil. So now it’s the devils world which is why bad things happen
@queen Satan did not wanted to be god he was asked by god with the angels to prostrate to adam "the creation of the first human" but he refused claiming that he is better that him therefore god fired him from heaven and promised him hell at the end of time so satan is trying so hard to take with him as many people as he can since we are the reason behind him disobeying the one and only God
Satan is a character they invented to scare people back into church, many years ago.

Worst answer ever, that happens when people debate with scientists
Of course there is something called cold
James Smith prove logic exists using empirical evidence
Extending the professor argument: if you can't perceive a difference between God and Satan, then the question is not whether God exists, or whether God is Good, or omniscient ---- it's whether he is different from Satan. If God doesn't always help the good, wouldn't satan not always influence the bad??
Satan influences good people to make them bad
I've always imagined about time travelling
And there are two things in particular I would like to do
1. To check if the history we know now is flawed (or to show people history which their government try to hide from them)

@@anonymouswombat2354 that depends on the school whether they teach it or not. Different countries means different curriculums. Don't blame him/her.
Carol Selfridge “Nothing Spontaneously Erupts” “There is a Creator”
Why does the creator get to spontaneously erupt while the universe doesn’t,
There's no absolute in science, as everything is uncertain, hence why we keep updating old theories.

Medo Hillary Good point but the point still resides in other things. It is not a scientific argument it is a philosophical argument.
derian schmidt, Philosophical it is. This particularly with the usage of 'BRAIN'.
derian schmidt philosophy is the dumb and flawful version of science
We don’t just know about god from books we feel him and see know he’s there in are hearts and minds but you will only feel him if you accept him you can’t say people who believe in god are weak if anything there strong there stronger than anyone else as they are feeling even seeing or just believing in something so huge that someone with a weak brain could even understand god you must be open minded willing to accept him and you will feel him you will feel your answers to your questions everything that happens is becuase it’s part of gods plan so don’t say something unless you have s backup to that and you wonder why we have sicknesses and death and disasters it’s all one big trial in gods plan so we can return back to him and live with him and become like him he doesn’t do it to us to make us miserable he does it as s trial to make us prove are sleds to home to prove we will not be tempted by Satan as we did chose god in heaven we all will have 1 major trial in are life and a few small ones and if you can get through those and fight through Satan’s temptations and follow gods path you will live with him now I will not comment on anything else all I haft to say is that’s what I believe
you just put the context of the video, and threw it out the window.... the point was, we belive in things we can't see... and many are true. Plus, who said that the two couldnt co-exist. Science and God could find a way to prove itself with the help of eachother
The issue is that the boy says you can’t observe evolution when you can... ever heard of a fruitfly. They mature in like a few hours of birth you can evolve things into them. Have you even seen a dog? How did a big bad wolf become a chuwawa?

My turn now:
Once a student asked its professor.

You do Get that this is made up right?

Maybe, but these is still the fact that if something like this happened, neither would be right in my eyes. No matter, who are the ones fighting.
David Dyer the professor's points were fcking stupid.
a lonely spoon
Nobody makes stupid points, these were points that you 'see' on the screen, those points from both sides might be invalid (especially from the students side), but of course the professors points seem invalid to someone that believes in God, to me, the points proving God is real were not valid.

It's all subjective. It's futile to try to classify anything as good or bad because you can bet someone is going to disagree.
That is literally the logic here
The burden of proof is on the believers and frankly their only proof is a book that we dont even have a copy of a copy of the original and a warm fuzzzing feeling they get. seems they might be short of logic. galielo already proved the earth isn't the center of the universe.

Another fake student/teacher description.
It was fake when people used little Einstein for this, and the new versions are still fake and bad as arguments: www.snopes.com/religion/einstein.asp
The argument contradicts the Bible:
" I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things." - Isaiah 45:7
If you don't believe that the verse is true, then it's not that important.
Isaiah 45:7 and Amos 3:6
(Isaiah 45:7, KJV) - "I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things."
(Amos 3:6) - "Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?"
Is God really the one who created evil?
For example,
"And the Lord said to him, "Who has made man’s mouth?
I believe that everything is actually just a computer simulation but you can belief in whatever.
DFPG 1 I'm 70% sure about that
heat doesnt exist nor does cold. only higher or lower temperatures
Edit: sorry, i misstranslated. Hot doesnt exist. heat does exist.
Miguel Ramos *facepalm*
That is called heat my friend.
Wow, even the toxic believer, Raymond, who, I'm pretty sure has been commenting in this comment section across multiple days, is facepalming.
So isn’t heat and absense of cold
Miguel Ramos Are you idiotically stupid or stupidly idiotic?
The concept of God actually being real still isn’t plausible.
Kane Clarke explain b this seems flawed to me. If not who created the universe how is it constantly expanding, is there something beyond the universe such as heaven and hell no one knows our entire existence is based off of THEORIES no one actually knows what happened
Phobic Rapter exactly, but just because it is unexplainable doesn’t automatically mean that a god created all of this. It just is what it is.
That's because you aren't too smart
Steelers Superfan who me?
After realizing this was a fabricated story, for no educated professor would answer 'yes there's cold and dark' and getting up to 5 logical fallacies in the students 'reasoning' I have up on hearing anything truthful from this video whatsoever. bunch of bs.
You're right, this video is a source of Blessed Salvation.
GOD is real and he is coming very soon...to take the true believers to heaven with Him
Joel Francis Amen to that.
🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Joel Francis hahah not so fast bro, not exactly...as much as I’d like to believe that, there are the 1000 years of judgement first. When Christ returns we will have 1000 years of Jesus as our ruler before he passes the new kingdom over to our God Yahweh. Not hating but read the bible first aha😅
“God is coming soon “
-Christians for 1000+ years
And the loving god will eternally torture at least 90% of the other people...
Yep god is 100% good and just
I don't fully believe in God, but I do find it hard to believe that the universe was just created, out of nothing. I don't want an argument but I just find that very odd. I feel like the big bang theory just couldn't have happened...
RedSpitz yeah, someone or something had to create it (I believe in God btw)but who or what created the someone or something who created the universe and who or what created the who or what that created the who or what who created the universe ect
But it didn't come from nothing. Everything was there just all closely packed together. Then it exploded outwards and expanded it.
Before big bang there was something much smalker than an atom and it was so unstable that it exploded and yea thats big bang
Not to be rude, but how did god create the universe? How did light exist before the sun and stars? How could Adam live 900 years? How could Adam and Eve's children find wives / husbands?
RedSpitz so a god was just there? I mean either way it sounds dumb so why not make the least amount of assumptions and ditch the creator
When you accidentally "smELT yoUr gOD" in ur Minecraft Furnace, how much coal does it take btw?
