Bill...a TRUE car guy, you can tell by his car knowledge and AWESOME sense of humor! Bill does a great job in the walkaround, and the points of a vehicle that make it special. He should be hired in Hollywood to be the Jay Leno regular car guy in contrast to Jay's high end stuff!
interesting, i'm thinking about buying one but would put a crap ton of miles on it as i would use it to drive from canterbury to brussels and back every week, occassionaly i would take it to the track. what does your odometer say?
Stephen Lacher, That's my favorite part of his humor. He describes my ideals of a car when he reviews a Lexus or a car like this. I’m the type of guy to go 5 miles under the speed limit in a sports car LoL! I like the harsh ride on the weekends while I ride on pillows in my Lexus
Best Porsche the Ur- Cayman the 987.1.2 this shape is the best Porsche has ever made yes better then 981 and 718 and the base version these engine‘s run easily 180.000 miles great video Bill the last classic !
Thank you sir!!! Just watched twice. I am now going to buy my first Porsche. This is it. 62 year old blue collar dude here. Wanted a Porsche from 1975 when my baseball coach ripped his with me in it. Thanks for all the info and very funny commentary.
Love it. My '09 is in storage. Picked it up April, 2009. Identical car except in black and had 43,000km. I'm sitting here in norther Alberta, Canada waiting for the snow to melt to bring out my Cayman.
I drive a boxster s2006, in Hawaii, year round, 24 7 ,12 month, views of convertible is awesome,, I go crazy if I can't drive it 1 day, l feel 4you, be patient and get on it!!! Ejoy.!
One of the most unspoken qualities of the 987 are the seats. Super comfortable for short or long trips. Probably the best handing and nimble car I have ever driven. A little short on power in the 2.7 litre engine, but you learn to use the engine to have the car wake up at 4 to 6,000 RPM and squeeze out the power. Just a gorgeous car in Guards Red, but the white looks not too shabby.
Surely the fun is in wringing its neck on backroads and having the time to enjoy the experience? In almost any modern turbo charged sports car/hot hatch you're going way too fast way too quickly!
I love your style and approach to demonstrateing your cars you are the perfect sale man with a rare and exciting personality that draws me in with interest I also believe you would be one of the greatest comedians the world has ever known keep up the good work
I hope these get the recognition they deserve as the last proper driver's porsche they really are in a league of one for their price point. Get 987.2 if you can and the 3.4 if you can with the switchable exhaust its like having 2 cars, 1 quite commuter, 1 loud burbling sports car that builds to a daemonic scream above 5k RPM
Man, I miss those SCCA race weekends. I was on a pit crew for a guy that rented SRF's. He even let me race a couple times at Daytona. Fun track. Have fun and be safe!
I am not a Porsche fan as such, but I do think the Cayman is very good looking and a reasonably-priced used car bargain. I like it for the same reason I love series 3 E-types. The rear fenders (wings) are broader making the car look more aggressive. I am actually from Florida, I left in 1974 when I joined the Corps. I came home for 2 years `78- late `79 then moved to Atlanta, then moved again in 2005. Same reason both times a huge influx of rust belters, arrogant NJ and NYers etc. and 3rd world trash. Sad really, Florida used to be a wonderful state. I am happy to see Korean cars as I see them as payback for the market dumping Japanese through the `80s and `90s that helped GM destroy the US auto market.
Hey Bill you nailed it again....your comments on guns and narcotics LOL... my sister in law lives near by autoEuropa smoking hot dealer with plenty of exotics cars...maybe some day will stop by to take a closer look...
Hi uncle , I think I learned something here , the reason for some cars that are driven hard off or even straight and suddenly they turn into the lane beside or crash on the other side , do it for they let of the throttle ?????? Thank you !!!!!
Hey Bill do you enjoy reading these comments? Let us know on your next video and we'll be sure to give you a thumbs up and feedback. Very nice car indeed.
You can't find a good 914 anywhere ,, they're all gone... The Cayman similarly is in the shadow of the 911 but is a great car... I will be getting one.
I actually typed in cayman curious cats but you still came up but my moms boss is a dentist and he has ones of those stupid air cooled porches your right dentist love 911s
People in Nissan Altimas (it's not Ultima folks), Jeep GC's, Honda CRV's, Toyota Rav4's, and the Hyundia Sonata, Kia Optima crowd to fit in those Korean Cars you mention. That and of course all the douche nozzles driving Bro-dozer pickups. All these people need skinned and rolled in salt. Haha, J/K...maybe.
Lol he hates everybody at the dealership

He's good, but man. That car sells itself.

As a german it’s insanely odd to hear someone talk about gun storage space as a criteria for rating cars
It was a joke !!!
You know what also is a true drivers vehicle ? That GMC envoy in the back .. the big boys drive that
What's with the Ford van peeking around the corner 😂
Just Waiting To See If A Few 911 GT3 Owners Have To Say About Not Being Included in Ur Last Great Classic Porsche Discussion.Lol

Only in America will you hear a car salesman talking about weapons storage.
Glad I live in a country where the big issue is heated seats.

What in carnation
Shut up and take my money!
Wrong "Cayman", Bill. The South American crocodilian is a "caiman". 🥂
They are both varient spellings.
Bunch of nut jobs driving tubs 😂😂😂
