The back absolutely does it for me! The sexy curvy yet athletic hips on this car are to die for dude! The 911's are literally fat by comparison. One of the reasons I bought one six years ago. I detailed and painted the intake plenum and throttle body, Porsche badges on the motor and visible through a clear engine cover. It's gorgeous!
you never heard about the kick button? It's like pretty standard on automatic transmissions. If you're running higher gear it will downshift faster in some "slower" modes.
2:30 "front looks awesome, back end doesn't really do it." If anything I think this is the opposite of how most people would describe it--it has the beautiful curvy hips, unique and classy spoiler, and accentuated tail lights over the .1, but the headlights are slightly quirky--especially given the aversion by the "purist's" to any headlight that aren't round. Of course this perspective is coming from a man with a haircut older than the car and wearing a chain on his chest...
agree. I think the car is best from the back and 3/4 rear view. I own one and think the headlights are what age the car the most. the more angular lights of the subsequent generations are far better looking.
I own a 2009 Cayman S. I would recommend the manual. It just adds to the character. My car doesn't have the limited slip differential, even though I do not track it, I can feel the difference without it during "spirited" driving. The only other thing to consider are the seats. Mine has the sports version. At 6'3" and 250 lbs, they are tight across my back and force my shoulders forward. I'm good for about an hour before it gets uncomfortable. I hope this helps.
honestly the thing that makes the Cayman s and gt4 are great cars is the fact they arent fast. it means you get to use 100% of what the engine is capable of and at the end of the day the Cayman will be faster because they handle so well compared to other more powerful car
Same, it’s only better with the roof down though. Also nice that there’s virtually 0 performance or stiffness loss with the Boxster The Spyder on the other hand, that looks incredible
Just today it road past me and the sound was unforgettable.

I use to despise it. I hated it. It’s starting to grow on me quite a lot now. It’s a wonderfull drivers car 👌🏻
What color is this car?
Got a 6-speed manual and I love it! I've had a lot of other Porsche modells before, but the Cayman S ist just so much fun!
Agreed!
I always thought the 987 was the best looking cayman generation. The 981 is too heavy and bubbly looking. The 718 is a very close second.

I appreciate your opinion. Thanks for sharing!

Pretty crazy you uploaded this today as I was looking at buying a 2009 S lol
The algorithm is always watching 👀

Great video! And very informative! I love Cayman backs and I don't know why 😃.
Glad you enjoyed! Thanks for tuning in!
The back is absolutely gorgeous. To each his own.
damn that color 😍😍
💙💙💙
Nice colours, and that boxer engine sound, Sweet!
That's an amazing video I wonder why ur not getting more views and subs. U really deserve more subs and views keep it up mate
It can be a bit deflating when you put hours into a video for it to only be seen by a few. But comments like this keep me going! Thanks mate!
Best version of the Cayman
Better than a manual GT4?
@@Coyote350 Excluding GT versions
Why do you say PDK is "infamous"?
Better handling but not better
Great video. I loved the info and I’m pretty sure that’s the model, trim and options that I’m looking for!
Thankyou 🙏🏻 Well that exciting! All the best on hunting your new Porsche!
I think we disagree on looks. I prefer the 911 front, but think the Cayman rear looks better.
Would love to see this go head to head with the new Z
I just picked one up! Stay tuned!
Have that in a boxster S ..better looking
Said no one ever 😂
