I think the way they did warrior in ffxi is genius, but they also made a really good effort making the jobs unique and balanced in that game.

Gonna be playing the Pixel remakes, do fighter/warrior have self healing like in FFXIV?

Bonjour, this video was made before Endwalker. Although the Warrior had the same self-healing cooldowns in Shadowbringers, their potencies didn't reach the (quite frankly) absurd heights we see in Endwalker, so that makes him quite the oddity compared to the rest of the series.
Now about the "Pixel remasters". If you're talking about the first Final Fantasy, the Warrior doesn't have any healing abilities... until it's promoted into a Knight/Paladin. Even then, the Paladin can only reach the 3rd rank/level of white magic, and he can't learn all of the spells, but he does learn some low level one target healing spells. It's far better to rely on a White Mage or even a Red Mage.
If you're talking about FF3, the Warrior has nothing at all to heal itself outside of items. It does have the "Advanced" skill from the 3D remake, though... but as I said, it decreases his defense during the turn when you use it ^^
