Thanks for the tip. I had checked out a C.M. de la VEGA RUclips video before but only for one specific thing. I now see there's tones of content to learn from.
Remember me? I finally upgraded from my $91 camera to a Panasonic Lumix DC-FZ1000m2! It was $797, but since I got the open box, it was reduced to $679. Can't wait to get my equipment now
Really interesting perspective. As an After Effects guy, I find it amusing that videographers are expected to be on a proficient level in the whole Adobe suite, but you're right that the barrier of entry into these tools has become a lot easier! I'm just glad that I'm not expected to be a videographer lol
I only miss them because they were the reason I was able to get my first job in the tv industry back then, logging tapes as an assistant editor. I’m guessing this job doesn’t exist anymore 👴🏽
Hey really cool content, I have a question though.. I'd like to mix my mountainbiking passion with my video editing passion editing only MTB inherent videos as a side hustle. I'm not really interested in filming, only post-production. Do you think it is possible or is it too much of a niche thing? Any advice? (P.S I have over 2 years of experience in Davinci Resolve). Thanks!
Anything is possible. But this is more a question about your niche than about videography. It depends on how many people you know who mountain bike enough to be willing to pay for a video. And also, if you don’t film, what content are you expecting? Maybe try to partner up with someone who does this already but films a lot and wants help editing. Otherwise, if you rely on your clients for footage, all you’ll get I assume is footage from a GoPro attached to the helmet or the front of the bike.
I've never used Lumafusion myself but according to this blog you can do it but you'll need to transfer them from a computer or a file transferring platform like Google drive or Dropbox. www.bouncecolor.com/blogs/tutorials/how-to-lumafusion
Hey man, love your work. I’m one of the QB’s in your video - for the Rangers. I’ve got a RUclips channel of my own and love what you describe in such detail on your channel and the edits are amazing. What do you know about combining after effects with Final Cut Pro X though? That’s my biggest barrier… don’t want to go to premiere pro when I’ve already got Final Cut Pro x
Hey man, thanks for the compliments. To answer your question, a lot of people use FCPX and AE together. The only real difference with using Premiere is that you can’t use dynamic links. You have to export everything you create in AE and import it in FCPX. So it’s a bit less convenient but you can still get to the same results. Oh and I shoot with a Sony FX3. I made a video about it on my channel if you’re interested.
Hey, if I want to use NBA clips for my videos I create. I know I need to keep them short, below 5 seconds. But I was wondering if I could use multiple clips from the same RUclips video I downloaded, or is it one clip per video I create? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
You can use multiple clips from the same video. It's continuous play for more than 5 seconds that will quickly get you in trouble. But as I said before, following this 5-second rule helps but it doesn't guarantee any result.
It doesn’t matter. The idea is that if your clip goes one for long enough the algorithm will be able to recognize it. Like tracing a phone call in the FBI movies 😂.
No I’m not. But if you’re looking specifically for After Effects lessons, check out the links in the description of this video ruclips.net/video/zOLJwaxDDB4/видео.html
Hello there👋🏽, Im a small basketball editor myself but I rlly feel like im so trash🤦🏽♂️, can you help me by watching my videos and whats the problem? I rlly need to improve❤️, and ty for the tips🤘
Didn’t I already review your channel before? Your videos are great, I don’t see why you’re so hard on yourself. The reason why you don’t have that many views is not because your videos aren’t good. It’s because there are a lot of channels doing the exact same thing. Maybe try to find a way to make your content more personal so that you can stand out a bit more.
Bro….are you trippin?????? Your videos is fuckin fire 🔥🔥🔥 you gotta build your confidence. I was highly entertained by the both the Shai and Westbrook vid you made.
@@BeyondTheGame_E no problem, even though you can't learn me editing. You show me tricks and give tips to make a better video over all. Thanks for that
That’s crazy, I was just thinking about getting into After Effects and wondering where to start. That master course seems like a good idea.
Perfect timing! The master course the the right place to start indeed, especially for sports.

He's the 🐐 of After Effects for sports. Plenty of good tutorials on his channel for sure.

Of course I remember! Congratulations, looking forward to seeing your futur videos with the new camera 🎥
Thanks for this video! I can't wait for that camera review
Hopefully it won’t take too long!

This is dope! AE is definitely a must. I’ve used some CM de la Vega tutorials as well and he’s the real deal.
Real deal Holyfield!! 😂🥊
Thanks for the info. I love your channel. Am going to take a look on the after effects course. Big big thanks 🙏🏻
Awesome, you won’t regret it. 💯
SP machine!!! I miss them along with digi tapes.
