I like the stare of this guy. One day I pretended to be like him.
😉
Oh I can be just like him. I mean, I can't play diddly squat when I'm doing it, but I've definitely got the stare down.
Super❤❤❤
Haha, like your dry Portuguese humour, good sir. Superb content on your channel! 😁
he's pretty unique, I don't think you can attain his level
03:24 OMG! Lord Vinheteiro actually breaks character and a smile sneaks out! 😅🤣😂
What about the near miss at 2:00 (I think).
Ah…. 1:56 where they had to cut away. You can still see the smile in profile though.
Dang it! 1:54?
a carinha dele hahahahhehehe
We all discovered his smile in the previous video, and it was actually quite strange...
One time I was at an oceanside party at night in a house full of people, overlooking the moonlit ocean and the power went out. It got dead quiet. I went over to the grand piano and started playing Moonlight Sonata and everyone just had to sit and listen in just total darkness except the light from the ocean. It was mesmerizing. I’ll never forget the moment.
Yes. I was there, and a bit later someone played an absolutely beautiful rendition of Chopsticks.
I bet you played all the right notes, but in the wrong order 🤣
@@aviatorpianokraft no no, it was the wrong notes in the right order.
They HAD to listen sums it up.
That was a boss move
Fur Elise is so emotional and touching piece that even Vinheteiro blinked
Beethoven hated it and never wanted it published, it was published after he died. The original was called Bagatelle and then he wrote what is now known as Für Elise. He wasn’t happy with his second attempt either. Today it has to be his best known and loved piece along with his 5th symphony.
That was absolutely perfect! Lisa tried SO hard not to smile….and Lord Vinheteiro actually laughing at the was great. This was legendary ! 😂
Yes I loved the laugh!!
I was shocked to see that!!!!
Truly😂..never knew the guy could smile
I would be delighted to be able to play them a quarter as well as that.
I could see how hard he was trying to not to laugh at some other points when they cut.
He finally smiled! As very small smile is shaping at the end, it's a victory
He is married now
In Brazil tv programs he is one of the funniest guys of all time
If you only knew how funny he is 🤣
Nosso querido Vinheteiro do Brasil! De família fina, cara gente boa e engracado demais. Um genio do piano.
Where is twinkle twinkle little star-
3:08 As a pianist, i can say that he got me with that pianist's rickroll.
Indeed 😂
I was like “ah sht, here we go again”
He looked like he had to suppress a smile there 😂😂
Yea
That was hilarious that Lisa couldn't hold a straight face. I just started lessons with Pianote (after 35+ years of not playing) and she's a wonderful teacher.
Aww so glad you are playing again!!! -Lisa
May these FOREVER be "overplayed"!!! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Beethoven and Bach didn’t demand his eyesight, but Joplin did.
When your piece still gets played after hundreds of years, that means something.
Lisa doing the Vinheteiro stare just made my day 😂
Is Lisa a family member of his?
You can play Fur Elise all day every single day and I’ll never get tired of it, not ever.
There are other sections of Fur Elise that most people don't know about like one part where there are these cascading chromatic notes
I feel the same way about Claire du Lune
True.
I remember when I was in high school a couple of kids would play "Heart And Soul" on the piano after we were done with Orchestra practice. I never knew the name of this song until now!
As a guitarist (and novice pianist), it's great to see the piano equivalents of 'Smoke on the water' and 'Sweet child of mine' 😊.
Also, it's a refreshing change to see Lord Vinheteiro break character at the end; he even blinked at one point 😂.
Fantastic video!
What's the equivalent of Wonderwall?
Err what about Stair way
What about Come As You Are - I swear every boy that learnt to play the guitar was playing it sooner or later
Stair way to heaven is too evil to mutter the name of. is that why you didn't include it in your comment?
House of the Rising Sun
Moonlight Sonata can’t be overplayed as it’s one of the deepest and most divine pieces ever composed.
I remember playing Earthworm Jim 2 back when I was 10 or so. There's a level in that game that has the Moonlight Sonata playing in the background. I didn't know the song, but it stuck with me. When I got a keyboard at my 21 years of age, that was the first piece I ever learnt.
Yeah it's overplayed. It's beautiful but would pale in comparison to Appassionata and the late sonatas
True. And it's the reason C# minor is the second scale I learned and second best known to me :D
You can say that about other overplayed pieces too
Exactly.
A composer mourning and saying good by to his hearing and the beauty of hearing music, a piece full of melancholy … you can’t overplay that.
This was great. There’s a good reason why those beautiful piano pieces are played so often.
Hey! As a novice piano player I learned how to play at least 3 of those, and I was proud of myself too!
🎹🎹🎹🎹🎹🎹🎹🎹🎹🎹🎹🎹🎹
🖤 🤍 🖤 🤍 🖤 👍 👍 👍
I still love Cannon in D, A River Flows in You and Prelude in C Major. Some songs are classics and never go out of style or favor.
Omg sameee!! I never get tired of playing those pieces 😆
@@soniabera05 C'est vrai et ils sont abordables même pour les débutants.
I keep listening Cannon in D from time to time
And Cannon in D and Prelude in C Major weren't even composed for piano
PREACH IT!
Moonlight sonata will never get old
Well, it's 223 years old, so yeah it already is. But it's his best and I'd say his greatest hit!
@@floridaredneck I love the second movement of Beethoven's 8th Sonata Pathétique, that's the greatest I think.
As a lifelong drummer, this channel is making me wanna learn keys.
I'm an old man and I took it up a year ago.
Yes all these pieces get played a lot but I don't feel they're overplayed because they're all such wonderful pieces great music never grows old
The fact that he knows all these songs by heart and can stare us down says it all😂 ❤
Not the entertainer.
I hate to admit that this is going to be my first list of songs to memorize 😅
me too! I totally watch this to decide which song I should learn and memorize next 😅
They all are awesome songs. Just have a good schedule. You can do it!! Good luck 👍🏽
Okay, I think I'll be that guy who said "It's a piece not a song."
It's a piece not a song, well at least some of it.
@@hxppythxughts7149 you are correct, most are pieces not songs. But for the sake of the conversation I decided to go with the flow and write/say "song" 😁 ... but yeah, you are right 👍🏽
I love how you can tell he still loves playing heart and soul. Lol. He smiles for sure.
One of the first major songs I learned on the piano was the Entertainer. I played it so many times.
I love how he FINALLY cracks up towards the end
He smiled! He actually smiled! More than once! I can hear the whooshing sound of thousands and thousands of souls being released to their freedom!
This guy needs to bring an album out
In my country this men is extremely like. Also I like him, he makes a good sound.
Love the collab from both! Very fun to watch Vinheteiro with camera person so you can see him stare into your soul from different angle.
I can’t believe he’s here. One of my favorite pianist
Lolollolol, the transition from Prelude in C Major to Still D.R.E. was excellent 👌👌😂 Caught me by surprise, well done.
I love how he always just stares.
Have we ever seen him smile before?! It's lovely! :)
In Brazil he is better known for being a comedian than a pianist, so I see him laugh a lot
BREAKING: Lord Vinheteiro smiling for the fist time 🙂 @3:26
This guy nailed it. Every single overplayed song on piano 🤣🤣🤣
I stopped playing for about 20 years and somehow Fur Elise is the only song completely embeded in my muscle memory lmao. I tried to play Moonlight Sonata and Canon in D again, but struggling so I went and brought a level 1 book and am working my way up as I get my hands used to the piano again and better/faster at sight reading again.
Lol...
I can rattle off Für Elise - at least the right hand...
I have tried to learn left hand, but having committed all the way...
I need to go to my light-up keyboard and start memorizing it - like I did for the right hand!
Starting at the piano and then rising the camera up to look at Vinheteiro staring at the camera had me chortling.
OMG he cracked a smile at the end😂😂😂😂😂 Moonlight Sonata and Für Elise, I completely agree on. However, you can never have enough Canon In D and that's a hill I will die on!
Cantik dan Indah permainan piano nya ... Terimakasih
I'm more impressed with the fact the guy actually knows how to smile. I've never seen him with any other look on his face.
Moonlight Sonata IS the song to be played forever.... It's like no other.
That glare is what garnered my subscription to this channel in the first place. Never change! 😂😂😂
Não há ninguém melhor que o Lordão!
Moonlight sonata can't be overplayed! Good old Resident Evil memories! ❤️
Haha in Heart and Soul when he starts smiling😂
Caught you! I saw you crack TWO smiles!! LOL. I love your videos. My late brother was a child prodigy on the piano, could play a piece after hearing it once, woke me up before school every day practicing on the grand piano my parents somehow were able to afford. He was 10 years old when I was 6. I tried to play the piano too, emulating my older brother like all younger brothers do, but I didn't have his gift. He had such a talent but, sadly, he also had his demons that cost him his life at 57 years.
He is so funny! Always makes my day! Love his plays!
He's always so deadpan and serious. It's wonderful to see his cheeky little smile!
This is the double act I never knew I needed!!!! Love both of you guys!
Finally, he is hereee!!
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Like the smile at the end Lord V. Enjoy your music. Gives me incentive to get my butt upstairs on my Roland and keep practising. Gave up playing the guitar after left hand problems so took piano up at 62, now 68.😊
Fur Elise can never be overplayed. Heart and Soul, well need to tango
ABSOLUTELY 💯 ❤😊
Its great to see you both on the same video!!! 😃
I remember when "The Sting" hit theaters. All of a sudden, ragtime was the most popular music in the US.
I didn't know the knuckle song had a name! Learn something every day.
I do believe this is the first time I've seen him breakout with any emotion. Nice to see....keep almost smiling.
Lord Vinheteiro and Lisa piano together. Wow!
Can't help but crack a smile with Heart & Soul, no matter how overplayed it is! 😅
To be this gifted without even looking at the keys. My goodness!
His fingers make up for his still face. Absolute legend! Thank you for sharing your gift of music.
Breaking away to smile is a nice end
You've just helped me name the duet I used to play with my music teacher back in school some 18 years ago. I never knew it was called Heart and Soul!!
You must have never seen the movie “Big” with Tom Hanks
It is actually a jazz song from the 1930s. It has words, etc.
I haven't seen that. What is the connection with Heart & Soul? Love Hanks, but never saw Forrest Gump either. @@marcholland1554
My god thank you for putting Heart and Soul on this list. Absolutely one of the top songs played to death, resurrected, and played to death AGAIN, several times over. Your videos never fail to entertain, Lord V! Keep up the good work!
That little smile at the end😂❤❤❤
3:38 Him Smiled 😳🤩🫣
That is a lovely video. The break out in laughs at the end is great.
Impossível não amar o nosso Lord Vinheteiro ❤
great work and video editing ❤
I noticed his first smile when he played 'River in You' 😅 Classic Music is so good to listen to.
ok you got me good with that transition from prelude in c major to still dre
I just realized that the picture in the frame changes with the song. He is a real treasure.
Loved the duet with Lisa! Heart and Soul indeed!
That was hysterical and as I’m a professional pianist I have to agree with his choices! So funny, thanks!
@Lord_Vinheteiro is the best! The complete seriousness the entire time except during A River Flows In You and Heart and Soul, that was adorable! In those moments you can see the enjoyment and the “I’m trying so hard to be serious and not giggle” but let’s be real for a moment. It’s almost impossible to be serious when songs are that fun! And when they’ve been overplayed you have to laugh!
Can’t believe Chopsticks was not included as a bonus.
I, like most I suspect, recognized them all. Prelude to The Well Tempered Clavier cannot possibly be overplayed ....especially with the D.R.E. add on!! Smashing 🎉
The end was so wholesome, it made my day thanks!
I just realized it wasn't his channel in the end 😂 I love this crossover
Skvělé! Úsměvy na konci jsou však nejlepší! 👏
Souhlasím 🙂
@1:25 - I did not know that Canon in D was written by Dr. Zachary Smith from the original Lost In Space TV series.
I love Lord Vinheteiro… I have been following him for a while!
1:54 pela risadinha sei que o Lord estava tocando essa música romântica e lembrando de champoulas douradas.
I love how the painting in the back changes for every song
There's a reason they are the most played songs! The best!
Dang .. I normally play music that NOBODY knows and I do it deliberately to stand out a little. But I gotta admit i occasionally play Canon in D and River Flows in Me ... but I modify them and make them my own
so excited for this
Thank you! We hope you like our video😄
Very nice! Love you both!
I love his playing and that stair he gave us. Lol. Love it. It's nice to know at the end how he looks when he smiles. Love it. ❤️
2:39 that painting 😂
Thank You Lord.. You nailed that list to a tee. Bravo.
The ever changing cat portraits were a nice touch!
Canon in D is the soundtrack of my life. When my Wife and I were married, it played as we left the church. When I die, I want this to be played when I'll be carried out of the church. If not, I'll raise from the dead and stare my heirs down.
Love the deadpan wide open eyes look throughout the whole video! I love 1000 miles, and Canon in D as well as Heart and Soul. Canon in D chords are in so many other songs, it's hard not to play that chord progression. You play very well, I must say.
Believe it or not, that's the first time I ever heard "River Flows in You." OTOH, I never knew that the "Knuckle Song" had a name until now! I was surprised that you didn't put "Golden Hour" on the list, as it's been getting a lot of overplay in the past year. Throughout the years, different songs have been overplayed. Nadia's Theme from "The Young and The Restless" was horribly overplayed in the mid to late 1970s, for example. I was taking piano at the time, and when my teacher wanted me to learn it, I almost gagged on the spot.
When people learn that I can play ragtime music on the piano, I am frequently asked if I can play the theme music by Marvin Hamlisch from the movie "The Sting". I have rarely, if ever, encountered someone who knows that this piece is titled "The Entertainer" and it was composed by Scott Joplin.
Fur Elise is hard to beat. And 1000 miles is quite good for a modern song.
You are right. I don't like the lyrics but i wonder how people would react if 1000 miles was played back in the 1700s
It is not usual to see lord on keyboard !
