That's like saying YES to putting more gas in the car to waste an afternoon every week at a store. . . . I upgraded my Walmart Plus for $40 and don't even have to pay delivery tips for a year.
I think they’re good for services like this. Same day shipping is expensive. Say I’d have to pay for same day shipping biweekly. That’s $260 a year. This saves 160. And tbh I got to the supermarket a few times a week. I subscribe to adobe for my photo editing. Now that’s a bad thing to sub
@@Zero11_ss I think Walmart probably loses money on their free shipping but make up for it with the frequency and loyalty of the Walmart Plus shopper. That's how I look at it, you give me free shipping and make it easy for me to shop with you, and I'll do all my grocery shopping with you. Walmart gets something and I get something too. I hope they don't stop, if they do they won't get anymore plus money from me, the free delivery is the only reason I have the service.
For someone who depends on delivery services due to my health, Target is way too expensive and no subscription is going to change that. Only thing I pay for is Amazon because it's all inclusive. I can get groceries, toiletries, and household items in one place. I've never had a problem with items coming on time and they always have items in stock. That's the MAIN difference between all of these other places. Walmart is infamous for never having what you want same as Target and especially for these grocery stores. Amazon is the only way to go.
@@Amandaxt25 If the company employs Instacart, Uber, Shipt, etc....., the driver will want to be paid. I use Sam's 'free' home grocery delivery and typically spend $15 - $20 for driver tip.

No, they're not. All three will give you free shipping on orders over $35. Walmart will even convert your shipping order to a same or next day delivery if an item is at a nearby store, again, for free.
Target may change this. Currently yes, however I would not be surprised if the free delivery over $35 will only be for members going forward. I don't shop at Wal-Mart so can't comment there lol
Walmart won't ship most of the items that they have stocked in their store near me - it always converts my "shipping" order to a "pick up in store" item - um, NO, I don't want to drive over there to get it, hence the reason I'm ordering online to have it shipped to my house. Ugh!
Yeah having stuff delivered from store when you ordered with shipping creates a whole new issue. You can't tip the driver in the app if you don't know some of your things are coming from the store. I have had two packages sitting at Walmart this week for days the drivers are refusing to deliver to my address because they aren't being tipped .. they have no idea if I will give them cash or not at the door because they have never knocked or rang my bell one time ever in all of the shipping/delivery from store orders I have placed. So because I didn't tip on the app (you can't if you choose shipping) they are now black listing my address and refusing to deliver here. It's absolute b.s to have paid for my stuff and have it held hostage because "petulant children" can't be bothered to the ring the bell at my house in case they will get cash at the door. .. . After this week I'll be canceling my plus membership and not doing subscription services again. It's been a nightmare
Walmart + has been great purely for the scan as you shop. Not having to scan every item at the end of the shopping trip (especially with little kids) is a game changer. Just leave all your items in the bags, scan a single barcode and you're out
That’s why I go it as well. Delivery service is pretty nice too. I add groceries as the week goes on. Get them delivered. Allows me to spend more time with my kid and tackling household chores on the weekend.
yup i cancelled prime months ago when they announced it. It's not worth it. Amazon will constantly offer free shipping on orders even without active membership.
I like Walmart’s same day delivery since Walmart is flat and doesn’t have tipping with subscription. Target has same day delivery now but goes through Shipt and tipping is there.
no thx. lol. bruh, amazon is a warehouse.. it's fine. but target is everywhere. i live close to 3. why do i need to pay them to shop with them. that's dumb
I never had problems with Amazon Prime deliveries. Many times, the items even arrive early. However, I may cut the subscription if they keep increasing the membership price or if I order less frequently. Target and Walmart are not worth it.
Target canceled my pre order so I won’t be signing up for target anytime soon I don’t know any stores that cancels pre orders unless you canceled it yourself now I’m afraid to pre order from target saving 5% sounds cool but not when you lose what you pre ordered it’s sold out everywhere Amazon is the best one to sign up for
None are worth it. Bought a year of amazon prime membership. Midway through, they implement ads in the videos or I can fork over more money to remove ads. Rarely do I get two day delivery. No quality assurance with most products, especially ones made overseas.
Competing with amazon, by asking you to pay a membership to get free shiping on orders over $35, which amazon already does for free, you dont even need Prime to get the free shipping over $35, and it comes in 1-2 days.
4 years ago walmart plus was great. i wouldn't be charged extra for the substitutes given for items. when i would order there were rarely ever any other trips. over the past year every order i place now has at least 2 or more trips included. the free delivery order windows now can take up to 2 hours instead of 1 hour.
This is awful, I had a feeling things would go like this. They are trying to price out everyone. You’ll be paying more for all the subscriptions, and not purchasing as much.
It's helpful in the sense that I did not know about this before, and now I am aware of it. Also helps that this is a simple and brief video. If anyone wants more info, they can look it up on Google themselves. What do you expect?
If you add on the $40 Walmart + upgrade, the deliveries are tip-free. We get a delivery at least weekly, and don't ever tip. If I were to tip a delivery person $5, that's at least $20 a month so it saves me a LOT of money!
I’m not sure where you live, but I get same day shipping, and one day shipping. Sometimes it’s longer depending on where it’s coming from. But I lovvve Amazon. Also I don’t need a minimum amount. I ordered some cough syrup for 12.00 and I wasn’t charged shipping. I’m in love with Amazon.
I just dumped Amazon Prime for Walmart Plus and I absolutely LOVE Walmart Plus. That whole Amazon "two day shipping" thing didn't always work. I also added the Walmart Plus $40 upgrade for a years tip-free delivery and it is awesome! I have not been in a grocery store for the past year and don't miss it. Also, I never cared for the Amazon music or movies anyways, so I was wasting money on something I didn't use. They can keep it. I never really wanted their movies nor did I care for their selection. When Amazon revamped their pickup charges on returns for refunds or exchange, that's all it took to trigger me to dump Prime and make the change. I had to ask myself WHY was I paying Amazon $140 per year to drive to a Kohl's to drop off an Amazon return to get free shipping. Walmart's shipping and returns are better. Oh! and Paramount Plus on the other hand has a lot more value for me. AND They had the Superbowl! Prime was good at $79 without movies while it lasted. All I wanted was better shipping and no-charge for pickups for returns. Times Change. I LOVE my Walmart Plus! ! ! ! !
How about not buying at all but the essentials? I refuse to pay membership for the privilege. Heck, they should be thanking me for shopping with them!! Don't fall for the false sense of exclusivity & social status.
It’s 2 days if it’s at their warehouse or is an Amazon product If it’s 3rd party then you have to wait You also can turn on the prime button at the top of your screen and it will show you only prime 1-2 day shipping items 🤗

Not necessarily (although that's definitely a demographic they're catering to). But it's also a convenience for parents with babies/small children, for seniors and those caring for the elderly, for people who are recovering from surgery or medical treatments (like chemotherapy) and are immunocompromised, people who are physically or mentally challenged....Good reasons to offer accessability to include all customers, yet I don't think there needs to be a subscription service to receive free shipping - especially since most stores include free shipping when you place a minimum order to $50 (or less, depending on the store).
Say no to "pay to shop".
