Trim Door Width and Mount Directly To Studs

Wanting to keep the largest opening as possible for a storage closet access, I decided to mount a slab door directly to the studs instead of buying a pre-hung door. See how I did it.

You did a good job making do. Looks good enough for what its for and from a couple of feet back it looks flawless. You must be really tall because that door knob looks really low on you. LOL It would be about right for short old me. Merry belated Christmas and a Happy New Year.
