Saw the title and couldn't click fast enough. If they take out the Intel processor and get rid of the discrete GPU I'd buy it immediately. In fact taking out the GPU might let them size it down a bit.
Looks nice! Wish it had a slightly more powerful graphics card (1660Ti), but that's probably the sacrifice for the smaller build size. I currently switched out a MAG-15 for the Zephyrus G-14 and I'm digging it so far, but on the shallow aesthetic end, the Razor Blade Stealth looks really nice. This is coming from a 2015 13" Macbook pro user who deep down wants a 13" Macbook Pro with VR and gaming support. Currently the Zephyrus G14 is the closest thing.

@@archardor3392 This is simply not true. Their 8 core chip draws way way way less power than Intel's 8 core chip. You can check reviews everywhere, Ryzen just blows the competition out of the water. WIth similar sized batteries, AMD laptops last much longer than Intel's.

@Chethan Reddy hahaha. Wow 13 years. Didn't realise I've been in youtube for that long.
nope! the table he's using is height adjustable, in some videos he sits, in others, he stands, you can only tell based on where the table is positioned, next to his shirt.
@@jeneralgod you can also tell the height of the table based on how much of the lights you can see. The light sticks are a good rule of thumb: the more you can see, the lower the table and vice versa. I haven't really noticed a difference though.
This laptop is all about the balance, except when it comes to pricing xD
Its razer what do you expect?
rekt
xD
would definitely balance your wallet though.
Julia Murphy random ugly ASUS laptop ?
You should know that razer is the king in terms of build quality , design compared to other windows laptop manufacturers. And razers laptops in terms of design and build quality can hold up with the Microsoft surface‘s and Apple MacBooks.
The G14 is on sale for $1350 at Best Buy right now. Such a great deal.
AMD user here since Athlonxp and Duron days, I've been waiting for this day that someone will not recommend a laptop since it's not using AMD.
4:28 Whaaaaaaaat?? All these years I've been watching you, I always thought you were sitting on a chair. Mind frickin' blown!
Dave deserves better than all these played out question/answer format comments. Great article/review. I wonder if the 4 Core Ryzen 35W has a significantly larger drain on battery consumption than the 4 Core Intel 25W - I realise the clue is in their wattage but wonder how this translates in actual use.
Dave: Why would there be 2 wifi cards
2040 meme accs: im gonna end this mans whole career
😂😂 I read this comment before getting to that part of the video so i thought the laptop actually has two wifi cards😂😂
Thinkpads meanwhile ....

He sounds like a parent trying to get their kids to share stuff.
One thing about these tech channels I find is that it usually has a secret; in example the K in MKBHD for several years.
I like how Dave's is just if he's standing or sitting down. 4:29
0:24 "It's so good, but Intel." Damn
Cursed by Intel, 😂 Savage Level Verified. Dave plays no games in them tech streets.
I like your pfp
Dave2D: perfectly balanced as all things should be
Me: What did it cost?
Dave2D: Everything...
4:30 finally, finally and finally the mystery is resolved. Now we know this whole time he has been standing behind the desk and not sitting.
I'm glad Intel finally has competition. This will force Intel to make better CPUs
easier said than done
Intel has thunderbolt so in laptops Intel is still ahead (thunderbolt 3 belongs to intel)
wtf? its not like amd tries to compete intel in port industry
Why do you care what Intel does ? Buy AMD if it is better. People brand loyal to Intel but want AMD to force them do better are the part of the problem, that is why Intel got away with doing nothing, selling same thing for a decade.
@@mrcracks4600 Actually even that is changing recently, see article

Was waiting for this review for so long
Thanks Dave2D
All the things I wanted to hear about in a review amazing work.

"OK"
Saw the title and couldn't click fast enough. If they take out the Intel processor and get rid of the discrete GPU I'd buy it immediately. In fact taking out the GPU might let them size it down a bit.
'cursed by intel' dave you pretty much sum up all non-amd laptops coming out this year😂😂
Do it Razer
JUST DO IT 🙏🙏

I'm watching from my 2016 Stealth. Getting my research in for a well deserved upgrade.
Dave: makes an infinity war reference two years after it came out
Everyone: *surprised pikachu*
it was infinity war

"But it doesn't have AMD in it." Words I never thought I'd hear. Incredible what we've seen from AMD over the past few years.
4:29 when Dave broke character.
When Mac opens the door for AMD, Intel will be humbled.
Kristo Radion that comment aged poorly.
@@djazz0 indeed
*Wow! 2020 is a crazy year already but oh how AMD David flipped the table on Intel Goliath.*
4:30 congrats dave! You've acheived COMEDY
Dav just betrayed himself by walking back a few steps, now we know you're standing there
That logo disappearing at 0:38 was dope
I'm still in consider of getting a gaming laptop. Can you do a video of the best gaming laptops/ultrabooks so far?
Dave: "...It's perfectly balanced..."
Me: "Got it. Believe you. For the love of God don't spin it on your finger to prove this."
Thank you for telling the TRUTH... Intel has been suffocating like hell the last 3 years and AMD CPUs are vastly superior with historically the most affordable/bargain/budget/best bang for your buck processors ever. Everyone should be thanking them for their hard work staying in the game and giving us competition and balance over the years. For the Intel fanboys, imagine paying $1100 for a gen 10 mid-range processor these days because there's no competition.... Yeah, I'm good! Intel is getting exactly what they deserve.
All you say is true but AMD need to work on that power draw of theirs. They cook a bit too much as is right now for laptops unfortunately.
@@archardor3392 This is simply not true. Their 8 core chip draws way way way less power than Intel's 8 core chip. You can check reviews everywhere, Ryzen just blows the competition out of the water. WIth similar sized batteries, AMD laptops last much longer than Intel's.
"it's perfectly balanced like all things should be" sounds like Thanos
"It's perfectly balanced. Like all things should be." If I can sub twice, I would.
4:30 how can he do that while sitting on a chair??? I want that chair...
He’s standing up. 😱
Dave: "Ofcourse it's only single WiFi card, why there would be two WiFi cards?"
WiFi Pentesters: First Time?
Double the signal? 😁
@@iranicus nope, pentesting/ more commonly used to "hack" or see how secure the wifi network is.
depends on compactbility
Thanks Dave for always spending time and effort to cover the big picture! A very insightful content.
