I rode this late at night and it was way better then than in the morning. The lights popped out and you would see way more than you would in the morning.
You have to get in line during the morning just to ride at night so it all works out

I’ve been on this ride. It has a completely different feel than a space mountain type ride because you’re leaning forward. This is much more fun in my opinion

For the people calling this lame, it's very clear you haven't experienced the ride yet because starting from 2:06, your entire face will feel like it's melting from the speed.

@@ChthonicRemains I'd say it could be slightly lame for experienced roller coaster riders because of a lack of inversion and being in an enclosed space that hides the verticality. For me, though, as a coward, this is the first proper rollercoaster I've ever been on (at 42) and I loved the breath-taking speed and the fact that it didn't go upside down! The VFX are also wonderful. After being crazy scared to even go on it, I ran back and did it again immediately: oh yeah, the single rider queue can often only be a few mins long (not on weekends though; don't go anywhere in China on the weekends!)

This is perfect. This is how the adventure parks will be in the future. There is a lot more potential in this. We could let the people ride in the loop for 5 minutes, but change the graphics on every loop. This way the people would not know that they are in the loop. They would see different things all the time.
The combination of the digital projection and the roller coaster can create an illusion of space and an endless landscape. There is so much more potential in this, than we can see in the video.
I think it's just the start of this type of rides and we will see other versions that are designed like a cinema in the 3D tunnel with digital landscape projections.

I just came back home from disney world a week ago. The Tron coaster is set to open in 2022.

Seeing this makes me really wanna go not for the coaster, but the scenery and the theme. My jaw dropped when i saw the neon carts and themes, especially in indoor parts
Watch the movie tron legacy, if you like the lights it may be pretty cool for you
I love the style, theme, train design, and soundtrack but I feel like it needs one more exciting element on the track before the conclusion.

Jason Campbell what’d be really cool is if this had two tracks with a duel launch and once the “race” starts, the bikes get separated and go in two different directions but then they meet up at the end to finish the race.
U can watch deep space of adlabs imagica , it's similar ,but it gets a bit scary in the start

This Cosa star is definitely my favorite from Shanghai Disney
While riding it I literally felt like I was flying

Also for everyone that doesn’t understand chinese. At the start of the video you see the video of the lady saying something. What she says is: “In the light rail there are winners and there are losers, which one are you?”
Also when they are inside the dark area the voice counts from one to five in chinese.

When they announced this would be coming to Orlando, I literally screamed with joy! They said it'll open there in Spring of 2023, just in time for my 18th birthday!
I remember riding this back then I barely couldn't breathe because of how scary it was and mainly because of how fast the wind was hitting my face lol. It was a fun ride

@@psycho8156 not at all. Space Mountain is damn near pitch black and star wars related now. This is really different being able to see the whole time and the riding position is like a motorcycle

Probably because with the position you're seated in, you can't really make crazy movements without getting injured.

I wish that I get the chance to ride it one day. Even if it doesn't have a ton of exciting aspects to the ride itself, the theme was executed perfectly. There isn't a whole lot you can do on a ride like this without head support. But that doesn't matter to me. It looks great.
I’ve rode this a night too! Too me now it’s my favorite ride of all Disney adventures! I love seeing the reactions of the people screaming and looking surprised, I was just having a breeze, but my younger cousin looked like she was going to pass out! 😂

The music the lighting adding in with the great use of immersion for this ride.
I just went on this ride today… The fastest and craziest rollercoaster I’ve been on. It’s so fast you can’t wear glasses on the ride.
The speed is incredible. And even though it hurt a bit to keep my posture on the ride I didn’t really notice until everything was done.
It’s amazing how rides like that can be so extreme without loops and stuff

I just went to universal studios last week :) rode a bunch of rides and there was smiling faces everywhere!
Never ridden anything like this, seems like it would put less strain on your spine than a traditional roller coaster.
I went on that thing on the second day when this park opened, I'm gonna be honest, for the first few second I did not expect it to be that fast. I also waited for 3 hours to get on this ride.

YAS definitely one of the most memorable rides in Shanghai Disneyland. In was a pain to wait in line for, but luckily we got fast passes the second time we went! It's definitely worth the wait!

it would have been better if they made a dueling dragons type ride where you choose to ride red or blue and they "battle" each other throughout the ride
Trashman I would suggest that everybody looks for a different experience in a ride. This is why bungie swing type rides are also popular. They have no theme whatsoever besides flinging a human being as hard as possible in a swing.
They no longer duel because people were throwing shit at the other train. They alternate and you dont really get to see the other train when you launch. Im assuming your talking about the coaster at Universal in the Harry Potter park.
yes i was referring to the dueling dragons ride at universal and from what i remember is no longer there. it makes since that people out to cause harm would ruin something so amazing. i have not gone back to universal since i moved to Arizona but i would love to go back some day to see the harry potter attractions because I'm a big fan. such a shame that some people would ruin such a great coaster concept though...
The Dueling Dragons ride is still there, but it has been re-themed as a Harry Potter ride called The Dragon Challenge.

I love love love roller coasters! But I haven’t gotten a chance to go on one in 3 years. So I watched this in full screen and pretended like I was on it too... Screamed along and everything... and it was actually a little fun 🥲

So far I’ve been blessed to get a chance to go to Carowinds, Disney world, six flags, Ferrari world, Warner bros world, lotte world, and Everland
it's always just too short, wait in line for an hour just for a 3 minute ride
A ten minute coaster ride would either be too boring or too intense

Ummmmmm that’s what like most of the coasters are a long line but a short ride. This is because of money for the track and general rules the park has and theme parks are more about the themes than the ride so for me this is good. Here in the Netherlands you sometimes have to wait 2 hours to ride a 40 sec dive coaster.
3 minutes is a substantial amount for a coaster. Some of the best coasters in the world are shorter than that

To answer any questions I have actually be on this ride my self as a live in China, this is an amazing ride. The tickets to the shanghai Disney land are way cheaper, at around $60. The ride was amazing.

I'm one of the few people that actually liked Tron Legacy. I think it's a cool franchise and it's too bad they won't be making any more. This ride looks pretty fun, but I'm wondering how the harnesses work.

the fits the small of the back, its a hydraulic lock. little kids would fly off the bike. some oversized people wouldn't fit. its a cool looking ride. we would never see it in the states.

Nina Lempicka At least the lines are often less in Paris. Hit that single rider line at Paris Disneyland and you can ride over and over (fastest Space Mountain there is!)
Disney Paris sucks, it's a shit hole. Dated, run-down, paint peeling off, etc.
You obviously havent been in a long time. The whole park has had a tremendous amount of work done, all the rides have been updated and some of the rides are the best versions in the world i.e thunder mountain. Space mountain is currently being updated to hyperspace mountain which opens next month. It is just amazing and even the Staff are cheerful nowadays :)

This looks absolutely incredible. Disney has never been known for its huge roller coaster rides, and I think this is a good mix between the Disney magic experience and the subtle yet speedy track. I’m excited for it to come to WDW Florida.

How about we wait and see what we get for Star Wars land first? There's a big possibility that we'll get something even better. Frankly I don't like this ride that much. It's basically a neon version of pony express at knotts with a fancy indoor section. They could've been more ambitious with the ride and given us a dueling coaster so you could race other people and a much cooler and longer indoor section. Really isn't that impressive to me.
Honesty like star wars but I prefer the Tron universe, I mean Disney's got the money we could have both the star wars land and they could do a Tron one as well wouldn't have to be as big just sucks Disney always ditches the Tron series

Hong Kong Disneyland's Tomorrowland was renovated, and is currently Star Wars Land. They have Jedi training, Space Mountain was completely changed to be 'Hyperspace Mountain' and Star Wars themed. You should check it out.
