The piston wouldn't push back in , something going on with the hand brake mechanism .

@@autodocuk got it sussed , pads and piston wouldn't let go of the rotor , all good now , thanks for the reply.
Use new brake shims, don't re-use the old coroded ones, you are defeating the purpose...
