Somehow ID gen 1 song always have a hidden meaning or is it just me? There is always something more in the song Its fun to analyzed their song indeed, like finding an easter egg. This song really had dark lyric hiding under catchy upbeat song...
I think because all id gen 1 vtuber career is very hard, and most of them living a hard life especially risu, since holo id gen 1 released before en they really build their own fanbase from 0 since Indonesian people didn't like vtuber that much before,
I had the same reaction as you did in the quick pass. I thought it will be a cheery song since the music is cheery too, then I realized there's subtitles and from there, let's say I saw the song in a new light(this sentence is very ironic).
the music vibe resemblance Indonesian 80s pop music. also the people who involved in the songwriting is one of the big names in Indonesia pop industries. he also involved in the songwriting for Tulus(an Indonesian famous pop singer)
actually, it's not correct for me to say an 80s style. because I'm referring to one certain singer. this song for me have"Vina Panduwinata"vibe in it. she's an 80s era singer, but her style definitely differs to other singer on her era like Betharia Sonata or Pance Pondaag or Bruri Marantika. and Moona often hum/sing a fragment of Vina songs on her streams.
Just like the title The cheerful happy melody of the song is the Perisai Jitu to the dark lyric of emotions inserted in the song If you just enjoy the song as is without trying to understand the songs you will definitely only thinks that this is happy song But if you put just a little bit thought into it you could understand the sadness of the lyric
0:34 the triforce is complete, i think Moona is the first holomem to have originals that represents not only all the languages that she can speak, but also all the branches that are currently available, since ID holomems are the most likely to do so 0:49 i was really hoping you said that black thing is Nemo's poopoo lmao 1:53 when you mentioned this has the city pop vibes, most ID pop songs have this similar vibe so her approach in this song definitely taken inspiration to those local top charting pop songs, similar how High Tide taken inspiration from K/DA or K-Pop. The approach in this style also fits well with how she decided to have this song fully in Indonesian, since its a tried and true concept 17:25 lmao Madoka also makes sense, but my first reaction to the glitching sequence showcased in her chorus led me to reference either Summer Wars, or Digimon Diaboramon movies 20:54 this feels more like a hybrid between ID pop and J-pop, because although ID-pop sounds the most similar as basis of her reference in this song, most of ID-pop songs are either love songs or heartbreak songs, whilst the J-pop element comes into play about the contrast of the upbeat musical vibe with the dark lyricism
@@aza5455 oh yeah right Illusion Night, I forgot because she doesn't have an MV for this yet (I hope soon), so yeah I'm basing it on the ones that have the MV since that is the form that is more accessible to newcomers
@@luxraydarkrai She just dropped the MV for it, in case of you missed it. Also, it's a bit cheating but Risu's OG song just packed all three languages in one lol Also, it's true that it feels like a hybrid between ID and JP pop but ID also has its own golden age of ID's version of city pop (pop kreatif) and the people involved with this song were part of it.
This might've been one of your best analysis rambles yet! This song is very catchy, but the real meaning behind this song is really the thing we should try to remember. Thanks for the reaction, Chief! OtsuSen~
This song is such a deep cut/instant banger. The beat keeps you listening while the lyrics stun you with emotions. It's so bittersweet, i love it. With the calm sound, the words spoken only effort your perspective of the true meaning. Music is so cool, you feel like you learn new life tips as you discover more.
I'm glad to see this reaction, because you understand what the lyrics mean. Some people just say how good the song is or the voice or the art, without understanding the true meaning of the song.
This song is so beautiful and yet painful, what an amazing dualism. When u just listen to the song, be like: Ok, the song is so good and groovy, i really like it! 🎶😄 Then you read the lyric, be like: It's hurt, dang it!!! 🗡🥲 Anyway, thanks for your reaction to this MV, your curation for this song is very good and spot on. Keep up with what you're doing and I hope you're always be happy for everything.
I was in a cafe earlier and they play this song and many people there doesnt know vtuber Moona but they all vibing to the song. This is one of the song u could play on public without being judged as wibu. Also maybe because the lyric relatable not just for performer but any job that require to facing public dailies. Wajah riangku perisai jitu
The thing is that the 3 Moona's Original Songs which uses different languages each are somehow connected. So if you are fluent in those 3 languages and listen from Ai no Chiisana Uta to Perisai Jitu it will felt like you watched an entire Movie.
"City Pop 80s style Jpop" More like Indonesia Pop as at 80's to 90's, this kind of music is popular at the time. I know this because I'm 90's Indonesian kids. So this kind of the music have nostalgia thing on me.
it's always "hey moona!" but not "how's moona?"
it give a true meaning to
"when you're happy, you enjoy the music
when you're sad, you understand the lyric" meme
Dangg
That's just the 5th eye quote 🧐
Remind yourself that the reason it sounds so good is because we helped her create a fan base.🎉🎉🎉
Although you can argue anyone can make bangers if they try hard "enough". It depends of effort and devotion 🙏

That's exactly why I love doing these analysis vids! (even if they do run a little long from my rambling hehe)

The unreleased lyrics is even more depressing, but moona decide to change it to what it is now
I think people who left before you ramble are missing out a lot.
You have no idea how much this comment means to me. I really appreciate it!
I had the same reaction as you did in the quick pass. I thought it will be a cheery song since the music is cheery too, then I realized there's subtitles and from there, let's say I saw the song in a new light(this sentence is very ironic).
The lyrics completely changed the entire dynamic of the song!

More like 2000-ish Indonesian Pop I guess? This kind of genre & melody really thrived around that era.
