Yeah, Last Will and Testament has been his finish from the jump. Ron Simmons spinebuster works. He could've used Town Bidness (Emerald Flowsion) but that wouldn't have saved the match.
I think what's even worse about the New Day-Brutes match was that, on top of it being insultingly short, it had to be re-scheduled to Night 2 because of time, so it REALLY felt like there was no real care about this match.
It was insulting in so many ways. Not just that it was incredibly short and a total afterthought. The fact that the New Day did a tribute to Big E who just suffered a horrible injury and were still squashed felt like an insult to Big E himself. Everything about it was wrong.

The Liv Morgan match was especially frustrating, because you could see the story they were trying to tell, and it was an excellent one: Morgan, completely outclassed in the ring, but refusing to quit (she held on and escaped from Rousey's finishing armbar--the one that had, up to that point, gotten *instant* tapouts from everyone it had been slapped on--multiple times). Rousey, more and more frustrated and getting tunnel vision, focusing on nothing but getting Morgan to submit, to the point where she doesn't realize that her shoulders are on the mat...and then WWE ruined both the match and Morgan's character by having her tap out right before the pinfall. What a waste.
Literally if they didn’t add the tap some people would have gotten mad but the fans wouldn’t have turned on her it’s amazing how something like that could ruin a title run

Roman reigns and Goldberg should've both run into eachother for the double spear. I know it has happened before but I've always want to see it more often in a match, It's a shame that spot didn't happen though. Atleast it would've made the match memorable.

I mentioned this in another video but Liv Morgan is EXTREMELY lucky that the crowd didn't completely turn on her after the Ronda feud. I think it's safe to say after having a great No DQ Match on Smackdown against Sonya DeVille (where they got this is awesome chants), great tag match against Damage CTRL with Tegan Nox, and even the bit of the gauntlet match against Raquel Rodríguez a few days ago (where people were giving her praise for being the best part of that match), and literally having quality matches with literally everyone else in 2022, she was not the problem in her title reign at all. As much as Ronda wants to say that she came back to put new people over, she is doing a horrendous job at that.

Well to be frank, people weren't even pissed off at the Brutes, because everyone knew who was _actually_ to blame for it: he has the initials VKM and likes molesting female employees.
Another thing that hurt the Royal Rumbles: there is a severe entrance music issue in WWE. Every single theme made by Def Rebel sound so generic that no one knows who the heck is coming out when the music starts. They need someone new making their music.
And adding to #1, don't understand why they couldn't turn it into a 2-on-3 handicap match instead. I'm pretty sure all 5 men could work something amazing out, especially with the whole "New Day is fighting on behalf of Big E" underdog storyline, the crowd would've certainly gotten behind them. Have New Day win, and Big E comes out to celebrate with Kofi & Woods to send the crowd home happy. Simple.

It defeats the purpose of the list, but my favourite “bad” match is Sammy/Tay/Kaz vs ATT from Double or Nothing. 5 heels and one baby face present with no one knowing who to cheer in the match creates an ironically bad masterpiece that I cannot hate. Kaz getting the pop of his career for leaving Sammy was fantastic, as well as Sammy kissing Tay any moment he can to enormous boos tickled my funny bone
Remember in Ronda's rookie year when she was having stupidly good matches for someone who hadn't wrestled before? She really doesn't want to be there anymore.
As we saw from the end of her MMA career she doesn't handle adversity well. When everything is going great for her she's great. She won her last three title defenses in a little over two minutes. That's not two minutes per match but two minutes _combined_ for all three. It was amazing to watch. Then Holly Holm made her her look silly and she vanished for over a year. She came back and tried to retake her title from Amanda Nunes and was made to look even sillier (she got TKO'd in less than a minute) and was done.
@FungiRy91 Oh, no doubt, but she more than pulled her weight. She sold well, moved well, and her matches flowed really nicely. For someone who hadn't wrestled before, she was a natural, and given time could've easily become really good, even great. But since coming back, she doesn't want to put the effort in anymore. It's a shame.
I feel like if the crowd hates Ronda this much... Yeah, no way they can fix her at this point. It's worse that she's holding the title of all things. The second worst part is that Smackdown's women division is very dry. I can seriously not remember any notable women's wrestler there that I think is a draw right now. I can definitely name 5-10 women's wrestlers on raw who are draws and are notable stars. Bianca, Becky, Bailey, Iyo, Asuka, Alexa, Rhea, and so on.

I’m the opposite. The way Adam talks about great wrestlers, wrestling and great stories is very engaging and damn near addictive. The negative videos are usually funny though.

Charlotte vs Ronda at WrestleMania 38 wasn't very good. The build up didn't get me hooked. The match itself wasn't anything special. And it ends on a ref bump, Charlotte winning with a BIG BOOT to set up a rematch for the next PPV. A match for the SD Women's Championship at WrestleMania, with the Royal Rumble winner, had a bad finish to set up a rematch for the next PPV. It also didn't help that it had to follow Becky-Bianca and Seth-Cody.

The Problem with Jade Cargil is mostly bad booking which isn’t hiding her negatives. Goldberg steamrolled his way to the title in a short period of time and that’s why it was effective. Cargil is having now for a better part of the year boring feud after boring feud with no solid build up or even a little bit of a promise that the title would change hands. And when her matches are mid at best it’s just nothing to care about: WOAH ANOTHER MIIIID MATCH THAT COULD HAPPEN ON FREE TV TO MAKE MORE NUMBERS TO HER SERIES.

I saw Mike Bailey wrestle the 57 year old 2 Cold Scorpio at GCW in Atlantic City last night and they tore the house down. Scorpio got a big pop from the start, but it took the both of them to carry the crowd on the ride.
Both Rumbles this year were so unpredictable and lame. Vince, when he was still in charge at that time, couldn't care less about pushing any new talent or talent that should've been pushed but didn't because...Screw the fans, right? This was Vince's way of overbooking overrated-ish people like Ronda, Brock, and Roman, since those are probably the only people he gives a damn about. And speaking of Ronda...*huge sigh* She definitely tries too hard at not trying at all, and her Survivor Series match with Shotzi was the worst of this year, if not, one of the worst of the year. And it really wasn't Shotzi's fault TBH, but I think at this point, they might as well just release her if they're just gonna undermining her just so they can get Ronda over with the fans, which is not a easy task. But yeah, Brutes/New Day at this year's Mania...HORRIBLE.
Have to give an obligatory shoutout to Tomohiro Ishii vs EVIL at Wrestle Kingdom. At a show pretty much tied to "all-time classics" when it comes down to it, it was a terrible match filled with typical house-show House of Torture bollocks and a deflating finish.
The men's Rumble Match this year was truly amazing in that nobody in the match felt like they were gonna win until #30 came out. Awful, at least the '95 Rumble had the only 2 possible winners in from the jump so you had SOMETHING to get invested in.
Honestly I feel sorry for Omos. Man's that size at 28, with some seasoning and a real monster attitude we could have Big show 2.0. Remember Omos doesn't move, that doesn't mean he cant. Khali had many leg problems and actively couldn't move faster than a tectonic plate. Man wrestled some great simulated matches in my 2k23 MyGM vs Ali and Ricochet. And honestly, yeah. Throw a cruiserweight like Ali or Ricochet at him, someone who can pinball around the ring and also get some good hope spots with springboards and leg strikes. Works much better than Giant vs Slightly Smaller Giant.
Man I was gutted to see Ricky Sticky blow his quad. Been following the guy since 2018, love his lifting videos and energy. If you're into it look up Eric Bugenhagen onion fail. Pretty great content.

@@yura50597 i mean plans changing and someone getting injured does not mean the match becomes better. If anything it hurts the match because usually the person cant continue and they have to rush to the finish.

Surprised NJPW didn't called out for that but is like Dave said WWE vs AEW is swallowing all the attention because NJPW didn't get mentioned on Wrestletalks best PPVs or wrestlers or matches.Although thanks to Steve and Larson for getting Triple A on best PPV and matches lol
@@michaelrivera8360 it probably doesn't help NJPW that all of those people with platforms keep calling NJPW a "cold product" just because of the clap crowds when they've really been putting out quality wrestling this whole time. Like if I was someone who had never watched NJPW, hearing that on repeat would not make me want to check it out
@@MsM-kh9xg well"cold product" is transalated in excitement of fans and let's be honest is not as hot as it once was because they have great wrestling but AEW becoming a thing killed off a lot their momentum mainstream wise(or at least as much casual viewer as you can get or with wrestling fans).Hopefully Wrestlekingdom 17 revitilzes their fan interest specially with reports that there will be WWE and AEE people.Specially since is reported Styles might be there

I totally forgot about the New Day/Brutes match but I hard agree. Running out of time for it night one only to speed through it on night two was an insult to everyone involved even before the terrible ending. I mean, at least they all got their Wrestlemania payday but really was that worth it?

It defeats the purpose of the list, but my favourite “bad” match is Sammy/Tay/Kaz vs ATT from Double or Nothing. 5 heels and one baby face present with no one knowing who to cheer in the match creates an ironically bad masterpiece that I cannot hate. Kaz getting the pop of his career for leaving Sammy was fantastic, as well as Sammy kissing Tay any moment he can to enormous boos tickled my funny bone
Agreed and the worst thing was Kaz getting pinned in that match after being super over with the fans
Sammy and Tay were technically babyfaces at the time but they turned themselves heel because of how unlikable they both were.

Shayna Baszler can do everything Ronda can do, but better.
As we saw from the end of her MMA career she doesn't handle adversity well. When everything is going great for her she's great. She won her last three title defenses in a little over two minutes. That's not two minutes per match but two minutes _combined_ for all three. It was amazing to watch. Then Holly Holm made her her look silly and she vanished for over a year. She came back and tried to retake her title from Amanda Nunes and was made to look even sillier (she got TKO'd in less than a minute) and was done.
@FungiRy91 Oh, no doubt, but she more than pulled her weight. She sold well, moved well, and her matches flowed really nicely. For someone who hadn't wrestled before, she was a natural, and given time could've easily become really good, even great.
But since coming back, she doesn't want to put the effort in anymore. It's a shame.

I feel like if the crowd hates Ronda this much... Yeah, no way they can fix her at this point. It's worse that she's holding the title of all things. The second worst part is that Smackdown's women division is very dry. I can seriously not remember any notable women's wrestler there that I think is a draw right now. I can definitely name 5-10 women's wrestlers on raw who are draws and are notable stars. Bianca, Becky, Bailey, Iyo, Asuka, Alexa, Rhea, and so on.

Is it just me or is Adam Blampied's best videos about the worst of everything? Honestly it's just SO much more funny and entertaining when talks about everything that's bad or negative! My favorites will ALWAYS be when he does lists about the worst of something.
I’m the opposite. The way Adam talks about great wrestlers, wrestling and great stories is very engaging and damn near addictive.
The negative videos are usually funny though.
It's also kinda funny that people forgot about that sexual misconduct thing he had couple years back and love him again. It's like they were never mad in the 1st place

Charlotte vs Ronda at WrestleMania 38 wasn't very good.
The build up didn't get me hooked. The match itself wasn't anything special. And it ends on a ref bump, Charlotte winning with a BIG BOOT to set up a rematch for the next PPV. A match for the SD Women's Championship at WrestleMania, with the Royal Rumble winner, had a bad finish to set up a rematch for the next PPV.
It also didn't help that it had to follow Becky-Bianca and Seth-Cody.
I think that match’s saving grace was that it wasn’t the main event like I’m pretty sure it was originally supposed to be

The Problem with Jade Cargil is mostly bad booking which isn’t hiding her negatives. Goldberg steamrolled his way to the title in a short period of time and that’s why it was effective. Cargil is having now for a better part of the year boring feud after boring feud with no solid build up or even a little bit of a promise that the title would change hands. And when her matches are mid at best it’s just nothing to care about: WOAH ANOTHER MIIIID MATCH THAT COULD HAPPEN ON FREE TV TO MAKE MORE NUMBERS TO HER SERIES.
One of the scariest spots in wwe history March 2022 when big e broke his neck .... yeah of course that was the first smackdown I've even attended.

I saw Mike Bailey wrestle the 57 year old 2 Cold Scorpio at GCW in Atlantic City last night and they tore the house down. Scorpio got a big pop from the start, but it took the both of them to carry the crowd on the ride.

Both Rumbles this year were so unpredictable and lame. Vince, when he was still in charge at that time, couldn't care less about pushing any new talent or talent that should've been pushed but didn't because...Screw the fans, right? This was Vince's way of overbooking overrated-ish people like Ronda, Brock, and Roman, since those are probably the only people he gives a damn about.
And speaking of Ronda...*huge sigh* She definitely tries too hard at not trying at all, and her Survivor Series match with Shotzi was the worst of this year, if not, one of the worst of the year. And it really wasn't Shotzi's fault TBH, but I think at this point, they might as well just release her if they're just gonna undermining her just so they can get Ronda over with the fans, which is not a easy task. But yeah, Brutes/New Day at this year's Mania...HORRIBLE.
Have to give an obligatory shoutout to Tomohiro Ishii vs EVIL at Wrestle Kingdom. At a show pretty much tied to "all-time classics" when it comes down to it, it was a terrible match filled with typical house-show House of Torture bollocks and a deflating finish.
Nailed it with the first spot.
I wouldn't call Knoxville a surprise, since he announced his entry in the match
The men's Rumble Match this year was truly amazing in that nobody in the match felt like they were gonna win until #30 came out.
Awful, at least the '95 Rumble had the only 2 possible winners in from the jump so you had SOMETHING to get invested in.

Honestly I feel sorry for Omos. Man's that size at 28, with some seasoning and a real monster attitude we could have Big show 2.0. Remember Omos doesn't move, that doesn't mean he cant. Khali had many leg problems and actively couldn't move faster than a tectonic plate.
Man wrestled some great simulated matches in my 2k23 MyGM vs Ali and Ricochet. And honestly, yeah. Throw a cruiserweight like Ali or Ricochet at him, someone who can pinball around the ring and also get some good hope spots with springboards and leg strikes. Works much better than Giant vs Slightly Smaller Giant.
