I bought the 3X a few weeks back. So far so good and they have broken in well. I figured the Pro was a little above my pay station and ability! Thanks for the review.
Great, just ordered these from clearance. Have used O1s so far but they are too heavy and unstable for the game. Really excited for the 3X Pros. I love my Hyperlites on ice so I guess I will be good with these!
im starting out in inline hokey and I don't know what stick to get. I want something that is good for getting lower shots and backhands. I'm a defenseman btw
For that, it's more of the curve you use: an open, sharper curve would be better for higher shots from less feet away, but a closed, flatter curve will work better for backhands and lower shots from the point
I've tried using the cheapos and you end up buying a brand new stick every month. Go with a noname hockey stuck. They're cheaper than name brand and they are pretty mice
For inline/roller hockey out doors I'd highly recommend the now dated "2 Piece" hockey stick. That way u can buy blades with different curves and when it gets worn down u just gotta buy another blade. At the end of the day a new blade every so often is much much cheaper than buying new Campsite hockey sticks
What stick you use does not matter I would suggest finding a middle of the line stick so around 100 to 200 dollars if you want to spend that much, they are light and durable. The high end stick that are like 300 dollars plus aren’t really durable and most people don’t need sticks that good to play well. It’s the curve and the flex that really matters and p92(p29,tc2 in other brands) is the best all around curve in my opinion, the p28 is not the best curve for low shots so that’s the one I would avoid.
I had some Bauer's once and didn't care for them. I have always worn Mission but in Bauer's defense they were not the top of the line. I haven't played roller hockey in years so I am probably out of touch on the quality of skates these days. You mentioned the cost on the Missions what is the price on the Bauer's. Love your video's Thanks.
Nasher, how do you do the Michigan on the ODR? I would love it if you could make a video on how you do it. I can do the Michigan on Dryland tiles with a Green Biscuit snipe or original but I have not figured out how to do it on the ODR. Please make a video. Thanks in advance!
The 3X Pro are a great skate in isolation. Anyone coming from a 1Xr or 2X Pro level skate will immediately notice the additional weight and lack of stiffness. Particularly if you’re a bigger player. For players looking to replace elite level skates it’s either 2X Pro or Hyperlite conversion. Otherwise hopefully Bauer comes to the party and releases a hyperlite inline.
So you would say that the 2x pro is a better and lighter skate than the 3x pro? Just curious. I skate on the top of the line skates from bauer and mission for last couple decades. Bought custom hyperlite for ice and off the shelf’s to convert with the kryptonium chasis for roller… I love my WM01 for roller but toe cap is about done and those replaced the 2x pro (now my outdoor set) which I also loved… I don’t like to convert the ice to roller normally bc the chasis always sit a little off but when Bauer dropped the 2nd tier roller version I know with my size (6’4 250lbs) and playing a lot that I should go for the hyperlite’s but I am a bit concerned with that 2 piece sole and how well it will hold up as the ice tuuks have 6 rivets by heel and roller chasis only have 4
@@georgedarrow398 Yep, if you get the chance pick them both up and give them both a squeeze and you’ll see (2x pro v 3X pro). Given your size and weight, the lesser stiffness would likely be the biggest detriment to you based on my own experience using top of the line bauer/mission products. I had the same worry about that outsole as well but with more and more people doing the conversion it has eased my concerns. I plan to buy an off the shelf pair for ice first to test out.
I am reasonably comfortable in Vapors from the 2002 era in a 9/D, what size should I get in these? I"ve tried Supremes in a 9/D for ice and they're way too big on me. Older Bauer stuff in an 8.5/D is way too small for me, pretty frustrating.

I love the content Nasher! Thank you for inspiring me!!!
I haven't played roller hockey in a long time. Watching your videos makes me want to play again. Great videos Nasher!
I wonder what the feel difference would be between some budget rollerskates
It’s really bad I use the rsx ones but when comparing them to some basic rollerblades they’re a lot better

Equipment doesn't make you better. Practice does.
It also doesn’t matter how they look 👀
@@steve581581 It does have its advantages. Especially if u are already a good player. Better ankle support. Comfort. Will last laster. Protection

POV masher uploads me:😁😁😁😁😁🙂
My brother bought the Bauer RS and the chassis bent by the back wheel within an hour. Looks like your skates are a bit thicker
Nice skates
Curious why you chose the wm01 over the 2xpro before
Good review!👍 Sorry that your nhl team Columbus Blue Jackets didn't make it to the Play offs, maybe next year.
This man is an absolute champ
How do you request to play a different position in NHl 22?
Do you use softer wheels in front and harder in back?
Why don't hockey skates have straps like on a normal rollerblade? Wouldn't you want the extra stability?
Are they glow in the dark?
Where did you get that shirt? Can’t find it anywhere. Not even on the Bauer site.
Bro I need those holy crap

STX Surgeon RX3
Bauer finally sent you some inline skates
I missed you
I love Bauer but I like then supreams better than the vapor they are more comfortable for me and I can get my edges better/easier
The skates look sick! Are you supposed to bake them or just wear them to break them in?
it doesnt really matter. Baking them just speeds up the initial process of breaking them in by wearing them.
when is your next game
i counted 22 stick twirls before first shot was taken. wow
Do u know if they run wide
I actually really love this type of hockey content
