I’m going to try and keep my grocery shopping to a minimum in January and February. I have so much stocked up in my pantry so I can avoid doing large grocery hauls in the snow and cold!
You can do it! I am excited for this challenge! I set it at 6 weeks to begin with but I would love to do it for a total of 10 weeks, just not sure if I can keep it at $10 a week for that long, so I figured start with 6 weeks! I will reassess our pantry and such after 5 weeks.
Looks like you've got it made for the next 5 weeks! Great planning! This is why we prep ... not for the zombie apocalypse! I hope things get better for y'all soon.
Yessss!! Ribs for Christmas sounds amazing! I think you got this 6 weeks nailed! There’s potential for so many meals! $10 a week can be tough. Good to see your cheese stash!
Merry Christmas to you my friend!! I am excited for this $10 a week challenge. Now, for the holiday and brunches I got invited to I did have a separate savings for celebrations. So that does not count towards my $10. We will do Christmas with my in-laws tomorrow and celebrate with my kids next weekend with a dinner and a brunch, so there are some extras I need to buy for those special requests! LOL
@@SnowGardeneragain I’m a year late watching these but when you did you pantry tour u was h Th I king I wonder if Julia took stuff home. 😂When I first moved out I shopped in my mom pantry to and hers was nothing like yours 😂 ❤
You could make a trifle (unlike Rachel’s one from friends) by making a jelly using canned fruit and jello letting it set, making pudding (custard) and putting it on the jelly and topping it with whipped cream / cool whip would work too. You could decorate with sprinkles but not needed.
Great job and great idea! We have started cracking into the pantry. Our freezers are absolutely full. We have leftovers. We have multiple hams, turkeys, and more. This is why we do our prepper pantries.
I’m not understanding your video because anyone can live off of what you have stored for literally many months in your case probably 6-months if not more only feeding 2-people and only spending $10 a week. Not being snarky just my honest opinion.
No need for you to understand it... no snarkiness here either. 🤣🤣 I do a weekly grocery haul on my channel and this is my haul. I also like to document the progress of my pantry when I do challenges like this. The challenge for me is not feeding the 2 of us plus my adult children shopping out of my pantry. The challenge will be sticking to the grocery budget I have set for 6 weeks. The challenge will be meal planning 99% off of what we already have. Thank you for your comment and thoughts!
@@SnowGardener ~So this is a challenge and not a necessary $10 a week grocery budget? I thought it was a have no choice but to spend $10 a week budget. You will no doubt have any problems meeting this challenge.

Yes! This is exactly why we prep! Food security brings me happiness and I know that when times are tough we have plenty of food!

Hahahaha...oh this brought a smile to my face!
You mentioned Big Mac salad and now I really want to add this to my meal plan. I assume it’s cheeseburger on top of a salad
It is so easy!! Here is the recipe I use- twosleevers.com/big-mac-salad/

Jealous of your Italian dressing stash! I’m obsessed with the one you sent me!

Ok sorry
Don't be sorry! I just didn't understand what you were referring to.
Oh watching the video I know what she meant I’m watching now and after your pantry tour it repeated what you recorded earlier with the fridge

It is a challenge I have presented myself with due to a financial issue. The less I spend the quicker we will recoup from this issue.
You repeated video
I don't know what you mean. I didn't repeat any videos in my Vlogmas last year.
