    In Australia paracetamol is recommended..
My son when he was a baby had a fever fit/ seizure and was very scary... body to body contact can also help reduce fever..

Yes that would be very frightening! Thank you for your comments

It wasn't necessary to add vaccinating a child. It would have been a good video otherwise. I have been a pediatric nurse over 27 years and vaccine status has never been an issue. We treat the symptoms.

I think it was important because if the child is sick with something and hasn’t been vaccinated it could be something serious that they should see a doctor right away.

How can you say Vaccine status query isn't relevant but travelling outside a country is?
Clearly you know how vital it should be when making a assessment on a patient...it's their medical history.

Thank you so very much for saying that! Honestly, I'm soo sick of the vaccine fear mongering. It puts me to ease and keeps me in the right track of mind when a medical veteran speaks truth!

Agreed. Only thing is ppl that are vaccinated are walking around with more dormant pathogens, so not being vaccinated can cause some complications with how the body handle foreign bacteria’s. But overall I still agree it’s just need to be understood for assessing the problem.

Damn… you shouldn’t have said you were a pediatric nurse. Now you just look dumb and pushing your beliefs……. Not evidence based knowledge 🤦‍♀️

When should a senior over 68 years old go to the hospital? I tried searching but only got information about children. I live alone I have no caregiver and I can't find any information about senior. I keep getting directed to children's health. Please help. I'm running a fever.
