Kim, glad you’re doing better. I just had ACDF last week. I felt great till the steroids prednisone wore off and 6 day. So hard to explain to people the discomfort we feel and how we can’t sleep. I feel like cutting off my hands to stop the pain. I go back this Friday for two weeks follow up. See how the surgery is healing. You’re the first one that has the same discomfort as me. Keep posting so I can see light at the end of the tunnel. Be well
@@KimWright I am doing better hopefully getting out of neck collar Friday. Got off the Gabba and feel much better. I only have pain numbness in both pointer fingers and still have weakness in hands. I hope it will get better going on week 6 now. Looking forward to sleeping without the collar. Thanks for checking in.
Hello Kim , a big hello from New Jersey 🙂. I've watched a few of your videos and I am glad you are feeling a bit better. Thanks for sharing your journey. I just had surgery about 2 weeks ago and each day I feel a bit better . Hoping you will overcome your pain issues. I will keep you and the others that have been going through similar issues in prayer . I remember you stated in one video that you feel alone sometimes in this but know that God is on your side. Lean on him even on your worst days. He will never leave you or forsake you. Stay strong !
Hi Kim, Your in my thoughts and prayers and it’s a process but you hang in there. I am 7 months out from surgery now and I am getting serious pain in my neck now not sure why, but I am going to see the doctor in a couple weeks. We are going to be okay eventually I believe it.
Thank you for sharing your journey. I’m awaiting an ACDF on C5/6 which I’m not going to lie I am really worried about but I know that life can’t carry on as I am at the moment. From the research that I’ve done it looks like it may be a rocky road ahead but it’s got to be done. I really hope that you continue to improve and can start getting some joy back into your life
Thanks for sharing, glad you are feeling better. I am about 10 months out from my surgery and there's good and bad days without any way of determining why. Most of what you say resonates. Hopefully the medicine will keep you moving toward a better place!
Hope your pain continues to be tolerable....Its good to see a lil positivity back...Hang Tough i have experienced Chronic Pain 32 Yrs....The Pain is Real!! I can relate to your videos Continue to send Pain free Vibes Take Care
Glad you are feeling better! A rheumatologist consultation might be worth a try? Certain types of arthritis appear in waves and are very painful. I have infusion therapy and it has helped some. Hang in there! its overwhelming at times, but stay front sight focused towards finding a reason to smile! 😊🌞💐
I take biologic infusion therapy. Drug called Simponi Aria. It has helped with arthritis issues I've developed with my multiple surgeries. I'm glad to see you happier and less stressed! 🤗
Hey Kim! Greetings from Netherlands! Glad to hear that you feel a little better!! I have had a acdf 4 to 7 almost 6 months ago, it has been a difficult time, it’s getting better now, doing revalidation since last week, it helps a lot, pt , medical psychiatrist , also learning to deal with pain, to manage my difficult day’s. I want to try acupuncture also, I keep hearing good things about it. So please stay positive and keep believing in yourself, keep us posted !! Love your video’s!
I’m not reaching out to a neurologist surgeon on what to do bc I was told by the second opinion doctor I will need stability surgery. Do you have any suggestions as far as what will happen if I get no surgery
I am not sure what that means .. but sounds like maybe they want to put a cage in to secure the fusion .. i might need that done on c3-4 but either way- it looks like im going back in for surgery as my symptoms are worsening
Omg I have just found my cervical infusion did not fuse. My orthopedic doctor who did the surgery has been telling me I’m fine. I got two opinions and they both told me my surgery failed. I’m frustrated bc my surgeon didn’t find this after me complaining a year. I just was told it can take a long time.
That is terrible! I feel insane by getting all these extra images and consults done but soething isnt right and getting worse.. so I have 1 more consult and im likely getting surgery before years end i think

Neil Malhotra, Neurosurgery at Penn, has a stellar reputation.
Kojo Hamilton at Pitt, among others, also highly reputed in the spine world.
And I hear as well that Zarina Ali (first woman neurosurg at Penn) is really up and coming in the spine world. So good luck!
