My fingers as a clarinet was almost non existent
This song has so much passion and soul Frank Erickson was a great composer
I played the horn solos and it’s one of the most beautiful parts I’ve played in my career
While it is mark "Allegro non Troppo" I do like the up in tempo and the expression is very nice! Thanks for the upload!
I played Timpani on this back in I believe 2018. This song almost made me cry.
Our trumpet section clearly did not get the memo 😂 seems difficult to play beautifully tho
Oh God I'm playing this song next concert at least the euphonium part is a little easier
So this is a universal experience lol
Update I just realized the euphonium part is almost always playing yay!
@@mooron394I played this my senior year 1st chair euphonium. 13 years later, my favorite piece !!
@@mcginnislucas i finally got to play it at a concert and it was a really fun and awesome experience.
Sounds like a knight is about to bust through the door
1:40-1:58. This part sounds like Air For Band's ending.
I'm conducting this piece for drum major tryouts, I officially hate measures 51 and 52.
