we take our 2004 chevy traillazer offroad to see what it can do. We make a few mods before hand. we will be ripping this thing more in the future possibly with some heavy modification
Goes to show that you don't need a stupid expensive off road rig to have fun like every other off road channel out there wants you to believe love from cali bros 🤙
When I had mine that’s all tf I cld think about. I had fully stock exhaust with maybe a lil leak and god it sounded so good to me, and only takes $50 to fill these things up
Boy have I missed videos like these. Reminds me of before whistlin diesel went too big. Feels too artificial now. Love the raw camerawork and crazy stuff you guys do
I'm so glad there's an audience for it still! That was always one of my inspirations. Whistling diesel was one of my favorites to watch before he got to about 100k subs
You’ve got no idea how much I appreciate this video, I’m buying my parents 07’ blazer off them and wanted to know how well it’d hold up off road! Recently I got stuck on a camping trip in my ford focus and need something 4WD and I’m now super confident in it!
I subscribed because I had a 2006 Chevy Trail Blazer it was a BEAST it took licks and kept on ticking then it threw a rod bearing last month but it also had 358k miles 😂
Great video! It's a Trailblazer -- so blaze some trails with it, take it through the woods, thrash it in the underbrush! Leave no straight sheet metal!
great video - entertaining as always with the exhaust shots, boys - lovin' the XJ, best on the trail due to size, weight, wheelbase and well balanced 4.0 torque - not to forget the unique boxy classic design
They had so much potential front crossmember/control arm design makes dropping the diff to gain lift pretty impossible upper ball joint design limiting tire size CV axle goes through the oil pan 4l60e I absolutely love these things.
Shouldn't have messed with the rear lower control arms because it'll break anyways unless u take out a large chunk of the frame and redo it. Itll still do a lot
I've got a 2002 chevy trailblazer Lt 4wd Atlis 4.2l straight 6 I've done some work to it the past couple of days it was sitting in my yard for a little over 3 minutes but I love it it runs good for having 265,000 miles on it
@@japhethbonnemathe ecu’s in the 02 to 05 don’t give you a bunch of tuning options the 06 to 09 have the better ecu’s and heads but the 02 to 05’s do have better low end tq.. if you end up buying more look for ones with g80 in the rpo code that’s the locking diff option
It takes at most 5 mins to remove the front bumper, also just use 4lo when you need to go through really this sloppy mud and really steap hills that you want to go slow on other than that just us A4wd
The best factory stock 4x4 setup on these are the ones with GT4 gear set with G80. Not giving away the best years for the best I6. I need to replace mine that was taken out by a drunk driver. So I need the market to still have them available for a reasonable price. Not the bloated price they are now.
These trucks are badass bro idgaf what nobody says. I beat the hell out of one for 6 months even ran the oil dry not knowing it was low and when I put oil back in it (to get back home) she cranked up just fine and did more donuts and drove it till one day I got hit and insurance totaled it, I’m getting another one. I had electric fan cooling in mine and the only time it overheated was when the water pump went out, if I still had it I guarantee it’d still be running fine
A cherry bomb makes the drone a little more bearable. I daily mine with a cherry+cold air intake, and it'll scream Edit: odd question. Would you be willing to sell the chrome part of the grill? Mine broke 2 clips off and its cracked
I don't know that Vortex has a lot of years to catch up to the Jeep Cherokee 4.0 I have an 87 Jeep Cherokee and it still has the original 4.0 l new head on because on the dial seats brought it out and it leaked pulling into a cylinder but put a new head on and still going so that Vortex has a long ways to go to out beat the pool leader Jeep engine
This video is good but one thing I don't like about it is when they went off-roading they just do not give it any gas and just go up slow well on the second Hill he kind of give it a little gas but I like when you just floored up a hill and then it'll go
@rhecxx6941 idk why or how... but I discovered it while driving it at night. Not sure why I was pressing random buttons but I was on the phone and all the sudden heard my own voice talking back to me it was wild
So I did this experiment myself my girlfriends whole family were jeep people all my girlfriends friends jeep people well I loved my trailblazers or gmt360 platform vehicles so I ended up getting into an argument with them over which was better it prompted me to take it out in the trails not even lifted at this point and it was going through everything the every cherokee was we ended up going through a revine and the trailblazer was the only one that actually crawled up it in 4 lo it was surprising and that's what prompted me to lift mine and run bigger tires and it's been an absolute blast
@@japhethbonnema 😂 been there a few times until I decided fuck or weld new frame in and mounts with new arms and 8.6in axle instead of the junky 8.0in gonna have it lifted on bilstein and smaxx can’t wait to rip it again
Two things I learned in this vid:
1) 4.2L Trailblazers are surprisingly good off road.
2) Minnesota is LIT.
I approve of this message. Had one for over ten years, reliable, and the inline six performance was impressive. Sadly a deer took to old girl out.

Good to see the trailblazer getting some love. I have an '08 and I love it

I wonder if this comment was motivated from that wrecked 7.3 parts truck sitting in the backround...

Hi guyz COOL VIDEOS Of Trailblazer 💪💪💪is it GOOD ON OFFROAD?
I love my tb. The rad is held in with 2 pins on the bottom. When gets knocked out it rubs the fan
Won't be a problem anymore...
Guys should find a first gen Sport Trac to try and offroad! Also I really don't hate these trailblazers!
That would be sick! We are always on the lookout
You can trick the computer into taking the soft limiter off by holding the shifter in between p and r
May have to fire it up just to try! I also wanna figure how to get it to have a limiter limiter
