As far as I know, the whole "No Returns" policy means nothing anymore on current Ebay. Ebay favors the buyer at all times and I have seen multiple occurrences of buyers demanding a refund, getting it, and not returning the item they complained about, and the seller has almost no way to report this to Ebay and get their product back or anything.
Well sellers should stop lying sell and list it with all the problems and stop lying and you will win the case, they are trying to steal themselves. So you get mad when it's done to you what a hypocrite.
@@Britec09 sure there is. eBay let's you return anything. If the buyer wants to return it they will always be allowed to. If you don't allow it all they have to do is escalate to eBay and they will always win and be allowed too return. Even if sold as is.

If you don't have any clue about electronics, then I would suggest you to watch some repair videos first. For example I bought fifty-two broken Xbox One's for 82€ and almost all of them required me to replace SMD Parts which are hard to replace, if you don't have any proper gear. Best example was one Xbox One with broken Ethernet chips. If the Ethernet chip was broken, then also the WiFi/Bluetooth Card was not working at all. The other day, there was a ps4 pro with "hard drive problems" but it turned out that it had water damages on the PCB. After all, I had to use a lot of jumper wires, in order to make it work again but the positive thing was that the HDD was working and it had a lot of games. In other words, I had to stay offline, in order to prevent the account from logging out from the console 😂
Been doing this for years. I am a reseller and the way I think is this! If there is a seller on ebay or whatever site that states 'No Returns!' Leave well alone because they are SCAMMERS! When I sell products it is always, 'Not Happy, No Problems, You Will Be Reimbursed.
I made alot of money buying and fixing ps4's but the sorce market fell out theres no money in it anymore whereas you could buy them for 40 to 70 dollars they ran up to 90 to 100 + the most you can get was 150 not worth it, we will see how the ps5"s progress.
Just buy broken stuff from common folks. I got a Nintendo 2Ds and a 3DXL as broken, but all they needed was a charger. The 3DXL was almost new. If you buy from any of these chops or guys who have a lot of junk, it's easy to get burned... Sorry for the bad word but, buy from ignorant people of what they have!!
Hi Brian I buy some electronics like laptops games especially laptops how do you test it if they are working can you please give me some ideas information many thanks
Good video Brian, Did I tell about the time when I sold an Nvidia graphics card on eBay I sold it for £65 but posted it none recorded, the buyer said that he did not receive it and I had to pay him back, the goods never did come back to me, who was to blame, I don't know, but the moral of the story is never send anything on eBay without the customers signature.
Funny as I just watched a video from "my mate Vince" this week on RUclips who only does these sort of videos. He was unable to get the last faulty Xbox he bought for £70 to work. If you are interested in this I'd check him out. 289k subs.
I'm scared a power button not working (example) is actually just a water damaged brick Especially when starting off with basically nothing that's a nightmare
The only thing that makes it expensive to repair is if one of the main cpu/gpu/sound chips failed, everything else should be cheap repairs for a good shop
It is really easy. I recommend buying computers with battery/charger issues, as that is an easy but expensive fix. Same goes for screen replacements. Wifi cards are also easy fixes, as well as bad RAM or broken/no storage drive. Electrical shorts are the next step up, usually just a ribbon cable needing reseated.
@@MorbidCrow666 you have a closed mindset. You think that because it is difficult you cant do it. Some would say you are LAZY. I'd say you just dont know what you're capable of doing. You can learn anything bro. Just gotta put in the HOURS and HARD work. If you have zero passion for something you shouldn't be trying to force yourself to do it though, as your passions will help guide you. Think about things that you like to do that others might need done, then develop those skills and advertise them to the people who need that thing done and you will find success
At the end of the day, there are degrees of "fixability" just because you think its a "door stop" doesn't mean somebody else with more talent/better diagnostic equipment can't fix it. There's nothing immoral about selling the equipment and honestly stating you don't know what the problem is. If you wish to be noble you might add to the listing saying that you purchased the item in the hope of fixing it, but couldn't diagnose the problem. And you most certainly can take out a claim against somebody with a "no returns" policy; Ebay very much favours the buyer these days.
Great video, Can you please make a video on how to backup and restore Forza Horizon 4 on the Windows 10 store? I tried it, but with no success. Thanks man!
You didn't read the seller's reply for the x-box, clearly he wrote something. Listing CLEARLY stated "May have secondary faults other than what is detailed." That''s not right. It's not the sellers fault why the idiot buyer didn't read the entire listing. Moe foes today don't read!!
Sam I think you miss the point, the seller knows there is more than one problem with it. The guy repairs them and trying to sell on a broken xbox that can't be fix, its dodgy
It should be noted though, that "no returns" doesn't necessarily mean no returns. It's more of a friendly agreement that you're buying a faulty item, so of course there may be other faults. But that is not a free ticket for a seller to mislead the buyer. If the title or description are genuinely misleading, then "no returns" means nothing. eBay will reimburse you. But it goes the other way too, so don't just go returning things because you can't fix them. It's about respect. Be honest about the condition and any faults that are or may be present.
I live in america and i have to say people put way to much value on there broken crap. Just cause i can fix it does not mean its worth what there morons want for there broken items. every time i see something for sale that is not working it is overpriced and can not even guarantee it will work again so i gave up. I am able to fix most electronics i buy on ebay most of the time its just not worth it to make 10 or 20 dollars on something and half the time you have to buy replacement part and in the end its not even worth your time and money cause you can not even break even.

Well if your buying as not working, not sure there is much you can do about returning it.
@ CaptmagiKono Agreed, as a casual seller I've found the buyer is very much favoured. And yes, the "no returns" policy holds little water.

Saw the address of the seller and it's a CEX shop in Crawley west Sussex that explains the racking in the back ground.
Nice detective work, even more reason to steer clear then lol

Yeah but even if someone can repair it, it wont be worth it in some cases, because you wont get your money back.
if it is uneconomical for a technician to fix, its not worth doing it yourself, cheaper to buy second hand going one
