      Pretty sure IE recommend the NGK R7437-9 with their Stage 2 tunes and on on these cars. The best spark plug for you should be the plug your tuner recommends!

    My mk7 gti is my first turbo car I ever owned bought used at 20k miles now a 35k loving every mile. Went stage 1 to 2 then to big turbo stage 3 within 6 months it’s a wild ride.

    Another great vid, especially with the spark plugs. I've been looking into more "after market" water pumps my proactive approach to that problem if you will.🤷‍♂️ oh yeah, crackle and bangs all the way

    I've been enjoying your growth and content over your journey. Curious why you didn't include the Armytrix exhaust in with your suggestions? I have the carbon fiber on my Golf R stage 3 and its nice. I also just hit 42K miles, continued health and happiness

    I run a scorpion non resonated with stock down pipe and it sounds really good! I have a mk7 gti stage 1 EQT tuned

    I know what you mean about that annoying stop/start 😱I have a 7.5R with an Autowatch Ghost immobiliser fitted, one of the benefits is that you can permanently disable the stop/start 👍. . I’m in the UK, not sure if it’s available in the US but might be worth looking into 😎

    I love my awe touring on my mk8. However I echo the sentiment. I wish it was louder, hopefully a dp gives me that little more rasp

    Love my 2018 R. I was thinking of selling it when used car prices peaked but I would have regretted it. 53 k miles. 2018 introduced 72 mo 60k mile warranty. Not sure if 2019 had it as well.

    Having the mk8 R in manual I can say after driving the 7.5 it’s better. Both great. But the truck rear diff is worth it. Have a milltek road + ordered so pumped for it 👍🏼
    Also I got at msrp with a great trade in. The 7.5 I drove went for the same price with 12k miles on it. Good dealers are out there.
    Pete I’m in MA and do a lot of business in NH. When this is staged it’s going to be so fun would love to get in contact

      that’s good to hear. i just moved to MA and been looking around/out of state between used 7.5’s and mk8’s. what some dealers want has me considering other options

    APR tune removes the 7.5 auto start stop function. Amazing bonus. Eco mode auto adds it back. Just an FYI

    Love the vids! On the cat back talk I think the xforce sounds best with the xforce downpipe. I only prefer since it’s a few hundred cheaper than Remus and Milltek

      It does sound great, but Remus uses the factory settings with the car so it’s a much easier installation.

      I have xforce with stock dp. I looked at xforce dp but didn’t know if I wanted a 100 cell dp or hpa 300 cell. There is a good video of a hpa R on RUclips sounded so good

      Go check my Full Custom Turbo Back GTI Clubsport on my channel! It has a Brittish Cobra Sport Catback, and ithink a Californian Invidia Highflow downpipe on sport/race cat! Havent heard any better combo when it comes to deep tone! Roars like a Beast for a 4 Cyl! 😄 👍

    Brisk er12s plugs is what I run. I change them out every oil change because how cheap they are but they work great. You could run them to 10k but you have to regap around 5k. I have pops on normal drive and only use it to piss people off lol

    For plugs.
    Non projected or bust. Only need 1 step colder unless hybrid or larger.
    NGK R7438-8 (4905)
    Denso IKH01-24 (5749)
    FCP would be best since you can run their warranty for these costly plugs on shorter intervals. But they only carry the 5749's and almost never in stock. Otherwise, Rockauto or directly from NGK or Denso. I wouldn't dare buy plugs from Amazon or anywhere else.
    APR's plugs may be a good option too. But they're so new. Jury is out on that to really make a call at this point.
    I run Denso 5749's in my IS38 GTI. Run on an 8k interval for both plugs & oil. Since I drive my car hard often. And because I've been one who's dealt with a broken plug and replacing a motor once in my MK7 already. I'm not chancing it.

    My 19 R still have 28k miles and still under warranty but IE tune is so tempting. You are right, mk7.5 R is such a livable daily but when needed turn to a beast.

      Bought mine with 29k in July. Fbo and IE ecu/tcu. Dealership still gave it a 10yr/100k powertrain warranty. Just a flash won’t really hurt anything as long as you keep up with it. The EA888 holds up well with just basic tweaks. My fourth VW and third MQB

      The haptic feedback and no hard buttons is a let down, but the mk8 r has better driving dynamics. And drift mode us pretty awesome

      The MK8 R is a better car. The engine is better and the turbo is better. Better gains when you throw a tune at it.
