Nicely done! This give me something to think about. My saw is a Bosch GTS1031 & router is a Skil RT 1322-00. I will have to adjust the dimensions to fit but we have all done this part of the build process. Thanks for the measures drawings as it give me a very goos starting point. I like your attention to detail & you verbal explanations. Thanks for taking the time to film your work, the time to edit and post it.
Great video and visuals! Was truly an entertaining watch and gives inspiration! Also, your smooth 'Binging w Babish' voice is soothing. And the hint of comedy is relatable how we all think. Keep up the awesome work! I'll be following
Watched one of your other vids, and it was good enough for me to look at your list, watched this one, subscribed, and dropping a comment to feed the algorithm.
Glad you like it! I had only used a router once and had never used a router table before designing it. It was pretty challenging. Remember to always rivet nut responsibly!
Awesome video. I was literally just thinking of using this space on my saw, to fit my router; but haven't really looked at how to mount it. Thanks for sharing! 👍
Very well done video. I have the Hitachi with a similar set up I may have to try to make a router table for it. But the real question I’m asking is what is your “track saw” set up? The next question is do you like it? I have the Craig rip cut and think it’s fantastic. But need some thing for the cross cuts and have been looking at just making my own sled or the Accu cut. But whatever your running looks interesting as well.
Thanks Nick. My track is an EZsmart from Eurkazone. Very random choice but I used to have one 15 years ago but sold it. When it came time to get another track, I just got the same thing. Overall it's solid. My only complaint would be that there is a small amount of slop when the 2 pieces come together to form the full 100" extension. This results in a slightly bowed cut if I'm not careful.
@@The3DHandyman :) thank you for your input I’ll have to look into it. And I’m not to worried about the big big rips because of rip cut. Glad you like it.
I've watched a thousands of maker / woodworker videos on YT and this is the first (and so far only) one that shows plywood being put through a planer. I was under the impression that doing so would ruin both the ply and the cutterhead and also cause the ceiling to cave in and nearby appliances to explode. Would love to have seen what the ply looked like coming out the other side of the planer as well as what the knives looked like afterward. any issues???
Good question! No harm done to the piece of wood or the planer. It may not be something to do regularly but it worked in this instance. If the wood grain is running parallel to the knives, it could tear out. Cheap ply might have thick layers that could jam up the machine in an instance like this. The Baltic Birch from this build didn't have those problems, at least for the one time I tried it.
i bet you are really fed up with this respirator stuff but try using Thibra 3D sculpt pliable plastic, so that your design can be easily customized with no elbow grease and messy silicon. And its gotta be very lightweight
This same effect can be created in lots of different 3D software... Blender, C4D, Maya, Unreal Engine, etc. I work mostly with 3ds Max and Redshift 3D render.
Drawings and 3D Printed Part Files are in the description!

Glad it was helpful. Each saw is going to provide its own challenges as far as mounting goes. Best of luck!
Dude, I've got to learn blender so I can aspire to be as epic as you on your channel
With the looks of your servers, you can handle the workload!

Very cool material! Thanks for the info. I may use that for something at some point.
